I like that you can walk in one store to get everything for a party of just about any theme. However, I'm rating this store 1 star because I think they are cheating customers on the balloons. This is the third time I've bought a bunch of balloons here and paid for "hi float" only to have the balloons on the floor the next day. What a disappointment!! When I bought balloons at another Party City and they used hi float, they lasted for weeks, so I know the stuff works. I suspect they are charging customers for this and not actually putting it in. I won't shop at this store any more. Three strikes was too many in this case. read more

Walked in at 542 and was told I could purchase balloons but they wouldn't fill them up...!?!? Wtf 5 ladies behind the counter doing nothing and for some reason all in a bad mood. I went to get some sweet 16 birthday balloons today for my sons birthday. it's also his golden year since today is the 16th but unfortunately they've been out of helium. The balloons I'm purchasing include a fee for helium, so I asked for a discount since I'd have to pay for helium somewhere else and they wouldnt discount the balloons that includes a fee for the helium. Not my favorite party city in Denver but it gets the job done . They have a smaller supply compared to the one in Westminster but it still had quite the inventory and has something for everyone . I have gone a few times and the staff are always helpful . If they don't have what I'm looking for in stock they point out which location does . They have a lot of baby items which is nice and a lot of holiday inventory . Their facility is very clean and is located close to Safeway for easy cake pickup . Party City in general has a lot of good prices and has GREAT deals for clearance . read more

Dont buy the balloons here they charge you an extra fee for them to stay filled up longer. Okay? So basically that means they'll fill your balloons all the way up. They also charge u a fee for a bag to put your ballons in when u leave? Hmmm. All the balloons we bought were flat the next morning. $20 for one foil #6 balloon n five regular balloons. Bullspit! All went 1/2 flat in about four hours. Very unfriendly staff! I recommend getting your balloons from the dollar store. I would of saved $14. And the balloons would be floating for the entire week. On Saturday 6/12 I went to this location for balloons for my son's graduation party, and when I asked the manager, she didn't even let me finish talking about what I needed, she was rude and quite mean and acted like I was annoying her. When she interrupted me, she said it would be at least a 2 hour wait, as if to talk me out of what I needed when she didn't even know what that was. Look, if you're short handed, I get it, but there's no reason to treat your customers badly! read more

The staff was very helpful today. The manager, Will, and one of the associates, Jessica, were willing to do whatever they could to help. I was there to pick up some photo booth props which were not in stock. They told me I was able to order the product online in store and free of shipping cost. However when I went to use their computer it wasn't working. With how advanced technology is nowadays... this computer could use an UPGRADE. it was slow... and then i wasn't able to order the product because the system went down and after rebooting the computer the wed address wasn't able to be found. It was very frustrating but the whole time the staff was accommodating. Still haven't been able to order the product. read more

I went today to purchase my sons Halloween costume. There was s a wonderful cashier that was assisting me however was having some difficultly with the transaction and my charge not being charged. So a manager was called this young lady who came to assist was one very unhelpful and rude. I was trying to explain to her that my card was charged and tried to explain to her it was reversed but not credited to my account. So her response back was "well I guess that's a problem the. I really don't know what to tell you". I then asked her to leave because how rude she was and informed her I would just work with the cashier. When this manager walked away she said very loudly in front of customers and other employees "well good luck and hope you ha e enough money to buy you costume" then laughed. We purchased balloons on Thursday and were told we could come back on Saturday to have them blown up for a graduation party. When we arrived at 12:30pm we were told they could not blow up our 3 balloons because they were busy filling other orders. We asked for the manager and he was rude, and didn't want to hear about what we were told and walked away. Do not go to this store!! I've never been treated so crappy by a customer service oriented business like this store. When I came in I was never greeted or any of the 10 employees walking around acknowledged me. I work in retail and was shocked by the lack of professionalism. Also the cashier was too busy talking to their coworker then to ring me up. Also they don't take returns of the package is open?!?! I was in this party city this afternoon and I bought a jumbo football pinata and the price said 25 dollars for jumbo. After I paid I questioned the price with the cashier and she argued with me and Co tinted to overcharge me for the pinata. Really??? This is wrong. I will never shop here again. I visited the store on 2/1 at about 11:40. I made my selections and headed towards the registar. There was a man being checked out and I was next. She finished with this man and kept talking. She talked badly about other employees. She knew I was in line but still she talked with this man. I waited for over 2 minutes. I was not happy so I decided that I wasnt going to purchase my items at this store. I turned around and put the items I selected back. She didnt even say one word to me and is clueless that it's just bad judgements to talk badly about your bosses and fellow employees. My son twists balloons and had a twisting emergency...he broke his pump at a gig the night before and had an early morning birthday party. We ran into PC and found the pump in under a minute. Then we waited in line behind 2 people for 20 minutes. There were 3 employees and 3 customers. We watched as one employee blew up balloons and realized later that it wasn't for a waiting customer. The line grew and grew to about 10 people before she stopped and came to the register. Our actual transaction took less than a minute. When my son went to use the pump at the party, it fell apart after 10 minutes of use. Bad customer service+bad products=bad business. read more
