Whether you are throwing a small or large event RC Events has you covered! With their wide array of furniture, dish ware and linens galore your event is sure to look great! Their team is very responsive and helpful during the planning process. I had the pleasure to work with Kathleen Berry to throw a surprise bday party for my partner and boy was he thrilled and oh so surprised! I secured velvet ropes and stanchions for the entrance, round tables for people to congregate (and boy did they), a beautiful standing wooden backdrop with faux greenery for photo Ops and a table with depth that accommodated ice and beverages (this touch alone really elevated the event). The RC Events staff delivers and picks up the the equipment as well so no need to rent a truck or recruit friends to help move things. A+ experience all the way around. Highly recommend and will utilize them again for future events! read more

Should you rent a large quantity of chairs and pick them up yourself the chairs will not come on the wheeled carts like when they deliver your chairs. Very disappointing. Lets all work harder not smarter. read more

While the tables and chair were satisfactory, certainly used and not in the best shape, the customer service was sub par to be friendly. I placed an order and called to conform they could handle my request. Per their systems, I am to receive emails and in invoice. Nothing came, as they entered my email incorrectly. While I was able to rent the tables and chairs for a grad party, I had to borrow a truck and drive to their office to pick up and unload. Asking for some understanding, I requested a pick-up of the material, since I was not able to take advantage of that service due to their error. I was told no. Just seems service and accountability are not part of the training. read more

Working with RC Special Events for my wedding was amazing. We had a tent wedding out in Northern Longmont. They were great in helping identify the best tent for our needs as well as the various decorative options that would help transform the space like bistro lighting packages, cocktail rounds, ceremony seating, as well as the reception tables and seating. Consummate professionals, they were great. Would highly recommend. read more

Amazingly helpful and friendly any time I call for equipment or support. Kathleen is the best and makes you feel like she cares about you and your event needs. She is genuine and sincere. I appreciate R & C and will continue to utilize their services. Thank you for taking great care of the Country Club! read more

Brief update: we have since used them for Thanksgiving family dinners to provide tables, tablecloths, chairs, dishes, and flatware. They wash the dishes when you return them. They deliver and pick up (for a fee). Service has been good and the rentals worked well for us. read more

I would not recommend this company. Here are all the reasons why: 1) Staff does not return emails or phone calls timely or keep appointments (i.e. Janna) 2) My delivery window was 7-11am, they showed up at 11:30am 3) Be certain to request if you want your rental items set up. I was never asked if I wanted a setup so everything was just left as is (no tables unfolded or chairs set up) 4) Make sure you got everything on the ticket; 2 things were completely forgotten 5) Keep an eye on the set up crew they can't be trusted 6) Be very specific and clarify what you want; I got the wrong color grey linens 7) I spoke to the owner, Ian for 20 minutes on the phone telling him all my complaints. The only thing I got out of the conversation was a "sorry" and that he agreed his company could have done better. Go with another company that cares about customer satisfaction. Thanks, Jamie L read more

We used RC Special Events for a Farm-to-Table dinner May 30. The experience was excellent. I dealt with Clarissa on the phone, she helped us set everything up and was helpful as our needs changed. Then, Ian met us at the farm to take measurements to make sure what we ordered is what we actually needed. Finally, the setup staff lead by Tony was fantastic. They were polite and efficient and when the fit wasn't quite right, they called me to discuss changing the setup instead of just sticking to what was on paper. It turned out to be a much better setup. We discovered a hole during the afternoon rains and called and they came right out and fixed it. I would give them an A for the experience! read more

Just rented some tables, chairs, table clothes, and buffet tray for a graduation party. Staff was amazing when we went to pick up the items. Super helpful in loading the items and helping to secure them in our truck. Would 100% rent from them again. read more

Used RC Events for my sister's baby shower and they were amazing! They were very responsive to all my emails and patient with me as I had to make adjustments throughout the process. Kathleen was fantastic and went above and beyond! I had to change my pick up day at the very last minute to a family emergency and she was so nice and helpful in doing so. I would use them again in a heartbeat for my next event! read more

This is a very expensive option. We needed tents to be out long term and RC talked us into these upgraded tents. However, we found out after wind and snow damage, that these tents are not sufficient to be left out for more than a few days. RC also did not do a good job on the initial installation, slapping them up in a haphazard fashion which led to even more damage. RC then charged us exorbitant rates for tent repairs, as well as tent rental while repairs were being made. RC also tacks on fees to upcharge their initial bid that we were unaware of until the installation date. Finally, RC then refused our credit card payment and insisted on check or cash unless we paid credit card fees. This was not told to us beforehand. Our recommendation would be to steer clear of RC and get second opinions about what you're buying or renting from them. They will sell you a line that you might be financially hemorrhaging over later. read more

I've used RC Special Events for the last 8 years for all of my party needs. They are quick and responsive and understand if you break a thing or two. Anymore, than a few, and they will charge a fee. They've been prompt at pick-up and if there's an order that was mistaken, it will be changed immediately and you usually end up with more than you asked for. I'd use them for a wedding or a very large event. So far, I've just used them for party gatherings of under 60. I have only good things to say. read more

Great services and great products! I love working with RC on any of my events.

Outstanding customer service!! Have been working with RC Special Events for over a year, now. Have not had one single issue over the course of more than 30 events. Ian (the owner) and Kathleen have gone above and beyond to ensure that our rental needs are met; with accuracy, prompt communication and delivery, and guidance when needed. Ian has gone so far as to make recommendations that benefitted our business more than his bottom line. That's incredible. Had used another competing company for the previous 2 years and cannot report having nearly the same experience. Often received incorrect goods, had rude delivery people, and major tent malfunctions. RC Events is hands down the best rental company in this region. We are fortunate to have them. read more

Just used this company for a large party. Their service was great, with delivery just as planned, a day in advance to reduce day-of stress. Renting stemless glassware was a really nice touch and very easy (get 50% more than your guest count to account for "abandoned" glasses throughout the night). Coat racks with hangers were a must in December. Very nice team, even the delivery guys. read more

RC, you guys have always been there for me, and I appreciate it! I am the manager of a busy restaurant that does a lot of special events, and even though we try to plan down to the last detail, every now and then a client will change their mind and need something with just a couple days notice (or even an hour once!). RC and their staff have stayed open in order for us to be able to run over and get what we need and are always friendly and helpful. Thank you for making my life just a bit easier! read more

RC Special Events took great care of us (tech company near downtown Pearl). They were responsive to my initial phone call, followed up extensively to ensure a smooth transition and delivered and picked up everything without incident! From the initial call, to my point of contact to the delivery folks - everyone was GREAT! I recommend them highly! read more

We needed some chairs for a birthday party. I looked online and it seemed you could request the items online. I wasn't able to select the style or the quantity. So I used the contact us form on their website and never heard back. Finally we called only to get a recording saying they don't take reservations over the phone. Alrighty then. read more

Threw large bday party and needed glassware, linens, etc. Ordered just 36 hrs before event. RC made it easy to order online, gave us time for pickup. Everyone in office was polite and helpful. I'd give them another star except they didn't refund us for unused items. I understand why for the fully wrapped up racks of glasses but don't for the linens still in RC's wrap and bags. But they did refund us for their error on wrong type of beer glasses, kudos for that. read more

While I will say that the staff contacted us and helped us alter our chair rental for our wedding in a timely manner (which I do appreciate), we were totally misled on their business hours/drop offs. Their minimum delivery fee cost more than the chair and table rentals for our entire event, so we decided to opt out of that part with the understanding we could return the items later that night. We even had a note on our rental receipt indicating that we could drop off our chairs at 8pm. One day before the wedding, we tried to confirm our pick-up only to be told that the store closed at noon and would not reopen for drop-offs till Monday. Even after showing the company our original receipt, they insisted that they closed at noon and that we could just leave our chairs by their loading bay and would be responsible for any damages or theft. This is CLEARLY a scam to force us into paying exorbitant delivery fees as paying for delivery services was the only way they could have taken the chairs back after their "business hours." Luckily, we had a friend who saved us, but anyone else out there should be careful that this scam isn't attempted on them. read more

We picked up and returned tables and chairs for a company picnic. They were available upon arrival, and the staff was very helpful loading the and unloading the table and chairs. We rented a tent which was not used, and we had no issues with receiving a credit for the tent. Highly recommend RC Events. read more

We used this rental company for our wedding, friendly staff, kinda slow on getting response via email. I called a few days before the wedding to ensure our rental and ask if they had any idea of when they would arrive to set everything up the day before the wedding. The lady I spoke with said they would called me the next day to give me a better idea of arrival time, this call was never made to me. Then the day before the wedding I was told the arrival window was from 7a-7p....ummm ok? Not a great thing when you're trying to have a rehearsal. Well they finally showed up at 3pm and did not finish until 6pm, so they were setting the tent up during our rehearsal, also fine, as we did not need the tent for the rehearsal. This is where the unhappiness sets in....we ordered a lighting package that cost $500 (our only option) 2 of the lights were not on when we were shown the tent after set up, we were also not shown where or how the lights needed to be plugged in. So guess what, day of the wedding the lights did not work. I notified the company the day after the wedding, was told we would be reimbursed for the lights to only then receive an email the next day saying we won't be reimbursed after all because they tested the lights when they went to pick the tent up and they worked....if you're going to rent from them make sure they show you what you paid for! read more

We tried to meet with ANYONE from RC about some issues that came up during our event. We tried 9 times, (no kidding) to get someone to meet with us - NO RESPONSE !!! Worst customer service I have ever see. Customers , be careful with these people. read more

Warning: do not use this company. They cancelled out on us (over 150 tents) one week before the event with no excuse. They are disorganized, unprofessional and horrible to work with. read more

I'm interested in using this company because they have some unique items that I like. But they haven't responded to my emails in over a month, even though I have sent a couple of reminders that I was hoping they would answer my questions. My understanding is that there's a new customer service liaison, so maybe there's some difficulty in transition? Or maybe they're just extremely busy and don't have time to take on additional customers? read more

I used RC Events for our wedding reception, and was disappointed with them throughout most of the planning process. First of all, they don't bother to tell you that setup is not included in the price you are paying them to rent tables/chairs/linens etc. If this is the "norm" in the industry, fine, but tell your customers that from the beginning because the average person is not planning large scale events all the time. So, I found this out after making the down payment and then opted to pay extra to have them set everything up. On the day of my wedding, they were there in time and got things set up, however, they didn't set up the linens on all of the tables. This added some un-welcomed stress because when I am paying extra to have them set everything up, I guess it was dumb of me to assume that included linens. Technically, they never told me they would set up linens, but they also did not specifically tell me that they would not set up linens. My family was stuck last minute trying to figure out where everything goes, which was pretty stressful for everyone. I think that when you are spending thousands of dollars to rent items, it shouldn't be too much to ask to actually set everything up, or at least be more clear from the beginning about what services they actually provide (which is apparently just dumping everything at a site and leaving you to do everything else). They really need to work on customer service and communication with clients, and for those reasons I would not recommend this company. read more

Agree with person below. Product was fine (Except for broken item which we didn't get credit back for) but staff was misleading... charged for delivery w/o being told, charged for broken items and charged for unused items (which would be fine if they were nice about the rest). Sale people are misleading. Never got email confirmation. Etc. Delivery guys were great. read more

I am very disappointed and frustrated with this company. I was referred to RC events for my wedding from a neighbor who has used them for events in the past. Their initial contact was great, very prompt and customer friendly. I set up a site visit with 2 specialists, and that also went well. They seemed interested and excited about helping me for my big. day. Then I waited for a quote to see if this would work for our numbers and budget. After 2 week I followed up, and they said they would get me a quote by the end of the week. I never received one, and they apologized and said next week. So I waited and never received anything from them. I followed up again and they said that this was unusual that we are taking so long, we will have a quote for you this week. Again, nothing. This happened a few more times, with ambiguous answers and excuses and empty promises for a quote that has not come. Finally, I called today to speak with someone who knew what was going on, and where the hold up was. They basically said they don't know when they can get me quote and that it is best if I find another company. Again, they said that this is unusual for them to not have answers, but after reading some reviews it sounds like their communication is poor. It sounds like they are too busy to take on events and don't have the courtesy to be upfront and honest with potential clients. It is just frustrating for a company to lead on a client for so long and then just pass them along. I lost valuable time because of them. They recommended other companies to use, and did not want my business. I would not recommend using them! read more

WOW!! I have never experienced such POOR customer service from a company! First, they did NOT deliver on my special wedding day---seems they erroneously put the wrong date into the computer! 6 months later I am still dealing with this company on reimbursement and they will not return my calls/emails and no reimbursement in sight. Not acceptable. I obviously do not recommend this company to assist with any event. read more

My wife & I used RC for our wedding on Lake Loveland... The tent was great, and basically saved our special day because it rained the entire wedding reception. All of our meetings with RC went very smooth, and the set up and tear down for our weddings were great. The crew that set up everything was on time, and made everything seem easy even though they set up everything for over 250 guests. I'd highly recommend them in the future! read more

My daughter and I travelled from Denver to Boulder to use RC Special Events because one of their sales associates took special care to help us build the wedding of my daughters dreams. Thank you so much Janna for meeting with us numerous times and helping us create the most amazing outdoor wedding tent, it was something out of a movie. At the beginning of planning, Janna actually drove from the Fort Collins store to the Boulder store for several meetings, just to make it easier for us, when she could have easily turned us over to one of the Boulder employees. The wedding was June 1st and we are still hearing from guests to compliment the amazing reception space. We only had one problem with the port-a-potty trailer that we rented through RC and although the owner of the trailer was unhelpful and rude, Janna called me immediately and made sure that we received a full refund for the rental. I also found Janna's crew to be friendly and helpful and they were all experts at their jobs. My daughter and I highly recommend them to help any bride make her wedding unique and the special day it should be, in fact call Janna, she's the new manager of the Boulder store. Thank you again Janna & RC Special Events - Brittney and I could not have done it without you! read more

A large tent, table and chairs were delivered on schedule for an event at our house. Unfortunately RC Special Events did NOT show up as scheduled today to take back the tent, table and chairs. And they didn't have the courtesy to call and let us know that they weren't showing up. Still not sure when they will come to get their stuff. Seems they are lacking in basic business etiquette. Next time, we'll look for another rental company. read more

I would never recommend using RC Special Events to anyone. We rented a PA system for our wedding. The microphones did not work. When music played through the speakers it was very distorted and crackled. The PA ended up being more of a distraction than anything. After the event we told them about the malfunction (as you pay in advance for the rental) when we returned it. Waited three days with no response. We called them again and they said they'll take care of it, but after a week still no response. If you want good customer service and products that function I would take your business elsewhere. read more

As a wedding planner in Northern Colorado, my reputation depends on the vendors I recommend and I always recommend RC special events to all my clients for their rental needs. They have always gone above and beyond to provide exceptional products and service. They have a great selection of items and their inventory is always well taken care of and looks great. They have a great showroom and are able to show the client different options of linens, glassware, china, etc to ensure they see the "vision" and are happy. I would recommend RC special event to anyone looking for event rentals! read more

This is a great place with great service. I had an issue and the owner promptly made it right.

We cannot recommend this company. They were late setting up, their equipment was past the point of being presentable and should be replaced. Their crew was discontented and complaining. Something is wrong - look somewhere else for your event rental needs. read more

Products were nice BUT the staff was not helpful at all! I had to change my originial order and it took about 20 emails back and fourth for the girl to FINALLY understand what I wanted, even though I had written it all out in an email. The delivery came on time but I was missing 4 tables that I had told her neumeous times I needed. We called and they said we could come pick them up. When we did they gave us 8 instead of 4 we tried to tell them we only needed four but they wouldnt listen. I figured they would only charge us for the 4 since thats what we had asked for. Turns out they charged us for the 8 tables and refused to give my money back or take the other 4 tables back when I asked them. They were not willing to work with me at all even though it was their fault that they took the tables off my order after I told her neuerous times we needed them. The products they did deliver were pretty nice besides the chairs were filthy we had to wash every one by hand also the chairs were every cheap one of them broke when someone barley sat down. All in all I was semi satisfied with the products we received but the customer service was terriable and I would not give them any more buisness. read more
