All of the items were clean when I picked them up and I appreciated that the linens were provided in hanging bags to prevent them from getting wrinkled during transport. I also rented the 2-speaker sound system. The battery powered speakers sounded great and made it very easy to move them between our ceremony and reception site. FRER was very accommodating to changes with what items we wanted to rent (we added a bunch of glasses at the last minute). I opted to pick up the rentals myself and the warehouse staff helped load up my car making sure I had everything I was supposed to. Returning the items was just as easy and I was happy that I could have everything for an entire weekend for the cost of a 1-day rental. Very easy to work with and they have everything we needed. This is the only negative review I've written about any of our wedding vendors. We went with these guys because they were in Fort Collins since we got married near there, they seemed reasonable in price (cheaper than most of those we got quotes from), and they had good reviews overall. However... I was not impressed. They started out seemingly easy to speak with and get info from, but immediately after we made a down payment I started struggling with them and it continually got worse the closer we got to our wedding. There were times I felt they lacked in responsiveness to questions we had, they were unhelpful and often rude in answering questions the closer we got to the wedding, and made our payment process super difficult (we accidentally cut a check that was an over payment and instead of simply providing a refund they added stress to our plate by voiding the check and making us render new payment - I've not had other vendors in the past do something like that so I was super shocked at how unprofessional they were in handling this, and this was never discussed with us as a company policy of theirs so we were caught off guard). Even being on the other side of our event by a couple weeks I'm still so frustrated with how we were treated. Also, I recommend to all other couples looking to get married carefully read the fine print, they will gauge you for anything they can (be it removing a line item and being fined for it or outrageous cost for setup that they didn't discuss ahead of time). I felt like the closer we got to the wedding the harder and more frustrating they were to work with, and didn't even give us an adequate delivery time window until basically right before the wedding which was very difficult when we were trying to juggle so much stuff at the same time. Thankfully everything got delivered and picked up and seemingly without trouble, but ultimately I will never again rent from them and wouldn't recommend them to others. Additionally the owner's inability to take feedback and work with a customer to remedy their experience shows to me a lack of effective leadership and a disregard for their customers. Ultimately to me reiterates that had I known then what I know now, I wouldn't have done business with them.

The farm table we rented was delivered to our garage the day before Thanksgiving, and when we went to set it up, it was immediately clear that one side of the legs was broken. The table would not safely stand upright. The underside showed obvious damage: splitting wood and a metal bracket shifted out of position, preventing the legs from locking securely. We attempted to call the company as soon as we discovered the issue, but they had closed early due to the holiday. When the table was picked up on the next business day, I informed the delivery crew of the damage. I also contacted the company directly, explaining that the table had arrived broken and was completely unusable for our event. We took and submitted clear photos showing the condition of the table. The response we received was both dismissive and unacceptable. Instead of taking responsibility, the representative told us: "As for the table I will call the owner about it as she looked at it along with the delivery crew and warehouse crew. From what everyone is saying so far the table did not go out like that and at this point I cannot refund the table." That message was sent on Monday. It is now Friday, and we have received no further communication, no follow-up, and no resolution of any kind. In short, the company delivered a damaged table, failed to provide timely customer service, refused to take responsibility despite photographic evidence, and then stopped communicating altogether. This level of disregard for customers is unacceptable, and we will not be using this company again. I strongly urge others to look elsewhere for reliable rentals and professional service.

We did NOT cancel these tables - the caterer required them, but instead ended up paying $200 to buy them and the linens to go with them and had zero cocktail tables and unused centerpieces. This is the most bizarre experience I have ever had with a company! Mistakes happen - they could have so easily made this right. And this wasn't a crazy-expensive rental. Seriously - it was not worth their time, effort and bad reviews to not refund what was not delivered. But instead they have blown us off, insulted us, called us liars and not followed through with what they said they would. As a matter of fact I have two witnesses that were listening in on the conversation that your husband had with Brittany where he had cancelled the items himself. I have proof that you paid the cancellation fee and it is on your contract that your husband had signed. There will be no more threats because we printed every email ever time we went in our system and changed your items and what day and time it was that the items were either changed or cancelled. She was knowledgeable about all the rental products, gave me an idea of how many items to order with regard to glassware, dishes, utensils, was patient and accommodating in addressing each of my questions or concerns, made a site plan for all the vendors to follow, and modified the rental order many times along the way with a "can do" and "no problem" attitude. The 40 x 80 foot tent and 20 x 20 foot canopy were well structured and put together by a great crew of guys. The supervisor, Michael, was very friendly and willing to do whatever we wanted to satisfy our requests. He was meticulous in placing the correct amount of chairs in each row, according to our ceremony scheme. He placed all the tables, bar, wedding arch, canopy, string lights, vinyl and hardwood flooring, and aisle underlayment according to the site plan and lined everything up so it was visually appealing. He came back the morning of the wedding to put the chairs up and dust them for the guests. Thanks to RC Special Events we were able to build a first class wedding and reception venue on a working horse ranch. It took a lot of work on many people's parts, but the rentals were a crucial component to the success of the wedding and enjoyment of our guests. September 28, 2022…read more I decided to wait until after our daughter's wedding to post this negative review of Libbi Alcorn and her company, Luxe Event Productions, LLC. I hired Libbi on March 4, 2022 as a full-service wedding planner for our daughter's wedding in Fort Collins on September 4, 2022. While I was optimistic and positive about hiring her initially, the result of this decision ended up as one of the worst experiences of my life. Since I was planning this wedding from out-of-state, I wanted an experienced wedding planner to find and work with all the necessary vendors to build a wedding venue on my daughter's horse ranch. I interviewed Libbi and communicated what I wanted and needed from a wedding planner. Libbi assured me she would find and secure the vendors and help me with all the aspects of the wedding planning process to their conclusion. Initially I was pleased and optimistic about my decision to hire Libbi. She was pleasant, seemed knowledgeable about vendors and whom I should hire. Early on, she contacted an outstanding DJ (Brandon Harrington of Suit and Tie DJ Professionals) and I secured the contract for his services. She also initiated contact with a rental company to order a tent and other necessities. As the weeks passed, critical wedding vendors had not been contacted or secured. I would email and text Libbi for updates and seldom received a response. I had to initiate almost all communications, asking her to schedule conference calls, inquiring about what progress she had made with regard to securing vendors, etc. Libbi and I had approximately 4 phone sessions in 3 months, during which we discussed long lists of items that needed finalizing. I was hopeful that she would follow through with her promises, but time passed and nothing changed. Here is a partial list of Libbi's lack of follow through as a wedding planner: On March 18, 2022 I asked about an officiant, and Libbi said she had the perfect choice. He was available, and I asked her to send me his contract. Over the weeks and months, I continued to inquire about the officiant and eventually, she admitted, he was no longer available. I asked her to secure a videographer, whom she said was excellent (and available), then weeks later he was inexplicably unavailable. I asked her to find and secure another videographer. She said she was doing "research" on them but she never followed through with a recommendation or a contract. In our initial conversation, Libbi emphasized the importance of securing a good photographer. My daughter wanted to hire a photographer she had used in the past for her wedding. Libbi had reservations about my daughter's choice and told me she would contact her immediately to ensure she would be a good fit. After months of not receiving a contract nor any communication about the photographer, I called her and she said she had never been contacted by Libbi and was wondering if we still wanted her to do our wedding! I followed through and secured her contract myself. Libbi provided input on available caterers and asked me to select three and select the food items I would like to sample (which I did in short order), so she could contact the caterers, get bids, and set up tastings. I waited weeks for her to get back to me. In advance of a visit I was making to Fort Collins, I reiterated my desire to have the tastings scheduled. When I met Libbi during my visit, she had not set up one tasting and informed me that our number one choice for caterer was now unavailable. I then had to set up my own tasting by going to the caterer's restaurant, contacted the catering manager, ironed out all the details (which took days of communication), and secured their services. Libbi never once communicated with our caterer. Early on, Libbi created a wedding board and said she would post ideas on it (and asked me to do the same) so we could establish a unified wedding plan and scheme. I posted 99% of the ideas and Libbi only made one or two comments on all my posts. We never discussed the information on the wedding board, and after I terminated her services, she pulled the wedding board so I would not have access to it. Libbi told me she was "almost finished with our wedding budget" mid-April but I never received any budget-related information. On April 11, I asked Libbi for names of 2 florists so I could call them and visit their shops to discuss wedding flowers during my upcoming stay in Colorado. She did not provide me with any names. One month later, Libbi set up an initial phone meeting with a florist, whom I really liked. I did not receive any follow up information from Libbi about the floral contract. After I terminated Libbi, I called the florist and she said she had reached out to Libbi on three separate occasions about the wedding flowers but she had never responded. Libbi promised to help me with the creation and ordering of the wedding invitations, yet provided no assistance. I sing

We hung out outside in the beautiful weather. 90 minutes later, the Bride arrives and is shocked to see the entire wedding standing outside. Apparently some communication had been missed as to when the guests would be allowed in. The event planner definitely didn't make an effort to blend in during the reception, we saw her tinkering with the sound system all night long, and most of the night there was no music. I hope this was just a fluke.
