I reached out to multiple companies and Lorena was the only one who replied promptly and was willing to work with me to understand my vision. After talking with her, I knew she cared about my event and would do an amazing job - she's been doing this a long time and is passionate about her craft! After our initial call, she even texted me so I could send her some pictures and she could confirm the colors I wanted and the way I wanted it to look (mixed colors instead of colorblock). About a week before the event, she reached out again to confirm time and date, and let me know the information for the day of contact. On the day of the event, the balloon artist showed up on time, was very professional, and had the garland up and ready quickly. Well that is what happened to my daughters good friend. Now I swoop in because I've decided that this adorable little boy needs to have a birthday & presents from us so I went online & found a present that I had shipped to him that he got in 1 day (though it said 2 days so I was happy. And y'all can guess which company it was.). But wait, that's not all! I decided that it's not a birthday unless you have balloons so that's when I used my handy dandy Yelp app & started searching for either a florists that also did balloons or just a balloon business in or near Thornton. Everything showed closed due to Covid but then Balloons Elite popped up so I gave them a call. Lorena was so helpful & said that they were just allowed to open up. Boy was I a happy camper! I explained the situation & Lorena was more than happy to do her magic! We agreed on an arrangement price of $50 which included her delivering the balloons the next day (04/26/2020) on the little boys actual birthday. And I let her design the whole thing. Lorena delivered it the next day & he was so happy! Nothing beats good customer service as I am a real stickler about that but Lorena definitely went above & beyond to provided great customer service & in record time! I highly recommend Balloons Elite for those in & around Thornton as well as those who are out of the area or as in myself my case, out of the state (California).

Here's why they only got 2 stars: A month-ish after putting down a deposit, they charged the rest of the amount without consulting us. This was no small sum and we had planned to put it on another card. We didn't realize that giving them our credit card number gave them free rein to charge us. This could have been our mistake, and we honestly would have overlooked it IF they had been at all responsible about fixing it. When we called a week later to ask them to put it on a different card and refund the first card, Dan was not remotely apologetic or even polite. He got the new credit card information and said it would take 5-7 days before it was back on the first card. To be clear, this was on August 31st. Around September 17th we got tired of waiting for our money. So we called to ask. They didn't even have the second credit card number on file. So, I am not sure what Dan did with it after I gave it to him, but clearly it was not what I asked him to do. They blamed the delay on the flood, which was troubling because it should have been resolved by the 1st of September. So, lesson learned: At All Event Rentals, you have no idea what will be done with your credit card information (too much or too little?) And you can expect rude and disorganized customer service.
