The store was clean; lots of parking, easy to find. I was in a rush, bedraggled and breathless. Christine (it might have been Christina) was calm, friendly, and helpful. And just as much so when I came to pick up my order. (Can't say the same for the little snot working behind her...) But Christine is my new super hero. I have never met a single employee in this store that hasn't completely blown me away with their utter disregard for customer service. To describe the balloon area, which seems to be a main source of revenue, as comical in regards to customer service and even the slightest sense of business acumen would still be under cutting it. This is either the worst batch of employees in the history of service and retail, or we've all been secretly filmed in what would absolutely be a hilarious candid camera episode testing what average store goers are willing to put up with. I went to look online for pricing balloon and inflation. The lady on the phone was RUDE and said they charge $ 1.47 per balloon. I said ok and then came back very RUDE but you cant get them we are out of Helium They stay out of Helium and you can tell by other reviews. Went online & picked out balloon bouquet + the numbers 7 & 5 and a 4 pack of blue balloons to round the whole thing out for father in law's birthday. Selected to have them all inflated - specifically selected those blue balloons so they could be inflated. Got to the store & all they brought us was the bouquet. Told us that's all we ordered, despite the receipt on our phone. Spent forever wandering around looking for the others. Finally found them in the bins uninflated. Told us we didn't ask for them inflated. Then told us some of them wouldn't float. Asked if we wanted them inflated, then tried to charge us TWENTY SIX DOLLARS to inflate 4 balloons. We said no & he said he'd just cancel the order. We'll see if that actually happens. Guy kept acting like WE were stupid. Very very bad. read more

Be prepared to wait. A LONG time. The " manager" at the time just now would fill balloons than ring me up with products per high in my hands. My fault- I ran in. Tmr store is empty except for one other customer a new associate was dining up. Had an issue and question about voiding something. At least balloon filler stopped to help her. Associate continued to ring while balloons are being filled. I politely cleared my throat to try and get balloon girl to look sucked - again - standing there and send a vibe of " help me give you money ". Nope. Ow I've been in retrial 14 years and even managed part of that time. Someone standing in line over 5 minutes while you blow up balloon needed to be serviced. Stop. Pay attention. Make your sales hour, UPTs and ring! So I left. I went to this star to get help with balloons for a party. When I stepped into the store, all the staff was huddled by the balloon area. I got looks like they were surprised to see someone come into their store. No greeting at all. I had to initiate the conversation and found they were too busy to help me. Mind you, I walked into the store two minutes after they opened. I went to another Party City and they greeted me very nicely and gave me tremendous help. They had one less person working than the Euless location and several more customers than the Euless store (since I was the first person in the store), yet were able to help me immediately. Will Never deal with this store again as they accepted a online order and then waited until the day of the event, actually 30 minutes before pickup to advise that they can't fill my order cause they ran out of Helium!!! The Manager who called me on the phone was rude and unapologetic about the issue as well. The guy said they were not taking anymore balloon orders he says this as he is blowing up balloons, I said I only want 1 balloon you can't just blow up 1 balloon for me, it will take less than 5 minutes? I rated a 1 because I can't rate any lower. I go in to buy a few Cowboys birthday items.... all of the items are in the wrong spot. I go to ask an employee about the prices and he directs me to the front cashiers. I explained that I just need direction and he points out that ALL the items I purchased are in the wrong spot. Charging me $15 MORE than expected. Not only was he not concerned but when I asked for a manager he said he WAS the manager(Steven). I asked him for the corporate number because he seemed too occupied to even care or make eye contact and told me to refer to the website on the receipt. They either have one person or no person up front to check out. Hence there is always a line that takes forever to get out. Went in after shopping in the strip looking for NYE items. Mission accomplished. They had a good selection ranging from, hats, glasses, party favors, plates cups and more. I've never seen a more unprofessional staff at a workplace. One employee kept using curse words, they were loudly making fun of each other, there was a line of people and the employees were just playing behind the counter instead of helping customers. Finally someone who must have been a "manager" ( I use that term loosely because he wasn't doing much managing) who had witnessed all of this told one of the employees to get on the register but they continued their side conversations with coworkers while helping customers.
