Just went to Party City MacLeod Trail to purchase a Halloween costume that was listed on their website. Go there and they would not honor the price that was listed on the website even though the costume number matched. To make it worse, the Manager lied and said only the extra small costume was on sale which it clearly wasn't. The price was not the same on the website as in the store period. She didn't validate anything I said even when I showed her clearly on my phone. I've spent a lot of money in that store over the years and should have been treated like a valued customer. It was false advertising. Manager should take a customer service course. read more

Funny name. This store is fantastic for buying partying decorations of all ages. Well priced and lots and lots of inventories of different themes. Aisles are little cramped when using a cart but hey the price is good. Large store and staff are friendly. Overall the place to go for party decorations. read more

I can't believe it took me this long to check this Party City store out. If you're a party animal, have filial affiliations with a party animal or birthed a party animal; this is where you want to buy decor for the ultimate shindig. This store is big and has aisles of party decor and costumes sorted by themes (retirement, Hawaiian, sweet 16, cinco de mayo etc) and colors. There's also a balloon wall spread across the front of the store with balloons ranging in price from $2.50 to $15. Items stocked: candy, wigs, eating utensils, cake decorating supplies, masks, kid's costumes, goody bag fillers and of course grass skirts. Pricing is reasonable but it'll be a challenge sticking to budget with all the tempting options on display. So why was I in Party City? Because my birthed party animals were to dress up as their favourite fairytale character and my mission was to get a little pig, Billy goat gruff or red riding hood costume. Tonight I was shopping at this Party City location and I witnessed a pretty disgusting affair of racial profiling. an indigenous women was being followed around and it was so obvious to the point the women even noticed them and was getting frustrated. as she was paying for her party supplies which looked to be well over $500 she had multiple workers standing around her and I can assume it was the manager yelling at her staff in a panic to make sure EVERYTHING! was scanned. The lady finally became upset with the staff and began to tell them she was not stealing and had no intentions of stealing as she paid for all her goods. it's extremely frustrating that racial profiling still occurs in 2023. I have been to this location many times and have never seen anyone get treated like this, totally inappropriate! the staff should be ashamed of themselves especially the one's laughing at her when she left the store. read more

Went to Party City Crowfoot was not impressed, the place is run by a bunch of kids who don't give a crap. Near the front of store they have a bunch of small balloons on a stick with banners below that say " small balloons $2.99 " I got a Minnie and a Mickey one and headed up to purchase all my stuff. When he scanned the balloons (which took a while cuz they would not scan and instead of just inputting the product number he just continued trying to scan It) and the price came up as $3.99. When I said something and pointed to the three visible banners disputing the price he said "oh....uh... hmmmm " and then just left (assuming he went to talk to someone about it. He came back and told me the banners where wrong and the real price is $3.99. I know it's only a dollar difference but wouldn't that constitute as false advertising? He continued to ring in my order and a lady came over when he was having trouble scanning again. I said to the lady (assuming she was the boys superior) that they need to take all the signs advertising these balloons as $2.99 down cuz they are scanning as $3.99. She just said "oh" and then walked away. I don't really care about the price difference, but some sort of customer service or apology or rectification or acknowledgement would have been nice. The good: this place has incredible inventory, wall to ceiling foil balloons selection and giant displays of candy. Whatever the party theme you'll find goodies here. Overwhelmed with how much cool stuff they had (in a good way) The bad: spent almost an hour here checking out cause the sales rep overcharged me and then couldn't refund my money properly. I'm very impressed by what Party City has to offer, they're a one-stop shop for all things party related and they have stuff for all ages! Room decorations, tableware, table decorations, serveware, catering items, balloons, helium tanks, party games, party favors, candy and more! If its party related, they probably have it! The store is really well organized by product type/category and color as well, you have to see it to know what I mean. But they literally have a whole section for blue party supplies, one for red, one for gold, etc.! Very easy to find what you're looking for! Not only do they have things for all categories, but they have every occasion covered as well; birthdays, engagement parties, weddings, retirement, sports events and of course seasonal items like Christmas, New Years, Halloween, Easter, Summer, whatever the occasion they have probably have it covered. Do note that seasonal items are of course only available seasonally! It's also worth mentioning that their selection of Halloween Costumes is quite significant and well organized, definitely worth checking out next October. This store is conveniently located on Macleod Trail not far from Southland Drive and has a good amount of parking. Did I mention they're quite affordable as well? Party City is actually part of the biggest party goods supplier in North America, which means tons of inventory for us at lower prices! The biggest downfall? Service is just okay... and definitely varies. Still worth a visit when you're planning your next event or party. This place is a wonderful land of everything you could think of ! Prices are very good and the fact the store is super organized I like to buy things off season because you can get them for super cheap. They have so many party supplies here and they are good quality the ability to pick and choose what goes into your gift bag is amazing and kids love it here. They have wedding supplies , kids party , graduations , Halloween etc. If you are in need of any balloons you need to stop here before you stop at the dollar store ! read more

This place is absolutely terrible. The experience finding my costume for halloween went very well. Though when purchasing it things went horrible. Currently they have a sale which is when you spend atleast $50 you get 25% off. I spent $72 and got nothing. I tried to ask one of the employees why and she immediately dismissed me to and told me to ask someone else. When I asked about it all I was told was to go back and wait in the 30 minute line all over again and she said it would be an inconvenience to do anything about it. This is completely unprofessional and it has made me loss great respect for this establishment. read more

I called in to order balloons for my husband's birthday . I had ordered online but wasn't sure about pick up etc . I spoke to Samantha and she assured me that she would take a look at my order and make sure everything looked ok . She called me back because not all the balloons I ordered were in stock . Her and the manager chose substitutions that would best suit the look I was hoping for . She assured me that all costs would be adjusted and minutes after getting off the phone I received email confirmation of the order changes . I haven't picked up the balloons yet but if the service I have received so far is an indication, I'm sure they will be great . I really appreciate this kind of service. I purchased 2 very large foil numbered balloons and a couple days later they were significantly deflated. I called the store to be told that helium balloons have a one day guarantee!!! Seriously!!! For that much money ??? Dollar tree balloons stay inflated for weeks! I would never purchase helium balloons from Party City again...definitely not worth what I paid for them. read more

This store has a variety of decor, stationary, trinkets, candy and balloons for a variety of celebrations. The prices are decent and it is an easy one stop shop if you prefer to save time over money. However some of the items sold here are easily found at dollar stores for 1/6 of the price, organza gift bags for example. The reason I'm giving this store 2 instead of three stars is the customer service. If you want a manager to ignore you whilst waiting at the customer desk, disrespect his employees in front of you, shout at you over his shoulder while walking away from you that what you're looking for has been discontinued and offer no alternative or any semblance of customer service whatsoever, shop here.
