RIP Party City! With almost all locations out of business, yet another victim of the retail apocalypse. This location was large, though seemed to shut down before the others in the areas. Truly will be missed. read more

I went in with my items to be returned with receipt and items in original packaging sorry gloves had cardboard out of packaging. I was then told i had to return some gloves to the original store since it was opened. I asked does it say that on the receipt or website her answer no we tell all customers. Here is the return policy I found on line.... (We will gladly accept returns and exchanges within 30 days of purchase with original receipt and refund the amount originally paid to the original form of payment. All we ask is the items are in new condition with original packaging. ). I gave the gloves in the bag and the cardboard fingers on top. She proceeded to ask another employee if she could accept the return (I assume since I couldn't hear the conversation) at that point I was like are you kidding me just give v them back it's not that big of a deal. She proceeded with my return asked me for my form of payment. I explained the card was lost and I had the replacement card again she looks at me like sorry.... I'm like just give me store credit I just need a different item. What made me even more upset was after all that i purchased with my credit a different item checking out with another cashier I asked for the 1st cashier name and I get sorry i don't feel comfortable giving her name out. I'm like what if her name tag would have been showing I wouldn't need it I will no longer visit this store I should have stuck to West Covina read more

Just a yelper shedding some light on a local spot. I was in the neighborhood and I needed som balloons for a birthday celebration. I walked in and out within 15 min. Very helpful crew. Kind of slow but it's cool. Fair prices and huuuuuge selection on anything party related. A lot of people use Yelp to complain. I hope my review helps. Keep up the good work guys. Oh, btw! They also have arranged balloon packages to make it easier. Just grab and go! read more

The service in these places has gone to crap. Overpriced balloons. Slow service. No personality for people spending money or no concern for efficiency! Horrible management at these companies and the staff are the lowest of level of customer service there ! read more

UPDATE-10/28. Now if I could give zero stars I would! Ordered 12 blown up latex balloons to be filled for 10/23 at 11am. Put my husband as a secondary pickup person and included his email on the order. When he went to pick up the rude chick wouldn't give him my balloons without my ID. Uh, why? He's the secondary pickup person. All she needed was his ID. When he told her that she said she needed to see the email. So then what's the freaking point! Luckily I still had it and forwarded it to him. But Jesus. It's not hard to do your job & you guys blow. For their curbside service. Came on Thursday 10/14 at 2:30 ish. Checked in through text, waited 15 minutes and no one came out. I have my sleeping toddler in the backseat, while being 7 months pregnant. I'm not gonna wake up my baby and hassle bringing her out of the car just to pick up for a minute when I specifically chose curbside. It's not easy getting a 30lb baby in and out of the car when you are this pregnant. Not to mention... pregnancy bladder! So I ended up calling and waited another 5-10 mins. So all together I've been sitting here now for about 5 minutes and they just barely brought out my things as I'm finishing up this review. If you can, avoid curbside. Now I know for next ti read more

This Party City was my go to location when I lived in the area. Smaller aisles compared to the Pasadena and Monrovia locations. Good selection of stuff here. Staff were friendly and helpful. Did a return and it was quick. Parking here is a bit difficult. They share a huge lot with Food4Less and Target. So it is always really busy here. read more

I brought in a few balloons of own (aluminum) to get filled with helium and freaking one of the balloons wasn't tied completely to it's string. Once I opened the car door, one just flew away. Paid 30$ to for 5 balloons to be filled up and one flew away due to negligence be wary read more

Party City - A ballon that won't stay up - Party Supplies Near Me - Baldwin Park, California

The workers are friendly and informative. I got everything very quick. This saves my time a lot.

Terrible customer service, my wife called asked if she could return a helium tank that she didn't need, the girl on the line told her she could and if we did have our receipt we could use the credit we purchased the item with. I went to return the item the girl working the register looked at me like I had two heads, she said without a receipt they couldn't return it, so she then called over the bumbling manager. He asked who she talked to what day she made the purchase then he was going to look through every order on that day to find my wife's, made no logical sense. Terrible customer service terrible employees I'll never go back!!! read more

This party city is so far satisfied all my party needs. The one in West Covina often have missing sections. And this one always complete and neatly organized. Not to mention located next to Office Depot, Target. Within walking distance is Food 4 Less. So for me, its a One-stop-shop choice. Plenty of parking provided. read more

Horrible here. Most of the shelves aren't fully stocked and asking the employees for help on finding something is a gamble, they didn't even know if they carried food dye. But wait there's more! If your trying to get balloons any day on the weekend there's a line to purchase them and another line to wait for them to be picked up (filled with helium). Everything is overpriced. Even the candies are expensive. read more

I waited outside for 30 minutes for curb side pickup and then the lady had the nerve to get an attitude with me claiming her online ordering device doesn't work. The managers do not give their employees breaks or lunch breaks, there is nepotism between the managers and some employees, the store is often disorganized, and when i posted my review a few months ago, it got taken down to hide their horrible treatment of their employees. Really bad experience. The people was so rude. I never go back to this f... place. I feel like they stole my money.

Came in to get some gold tablecloths. I asked an associate who was putting some items away on the shelf which isle I could find gold tablecloths. She gave me a stinky face (eye roll included)as if I was asking her to march me down the isle on a red carpet to the tablecloths. She said in a rude tone with her stinky face still on "isle four" and rolled her eyes back to her stocking. I mean...come on gf where's your customer service? She definitely got her eye roll exercises in with me. Other than that lady, the cashier staff member was super kind. She rang me up quickly, was friendly, and didn't give me any eye rolls lol. Maybe the other girl was having a bad day. Life's to short to be rude boo. Hopefully she has a better day. read more

Goodness gracious, my son is turning 3 years old!! I remember bits and pieces of my toddler days, so I decided to try making this his good memorable birthday experience. Got carried away, of course, went over my budget on decorations, games, and balloons. Was checking out, Mytzie was my cashier. With a concern face watching the numbers on the register going off the chart, she asked me if I have my cellphone. At first, I thought may had left it in the car. So she pulled out hers and started web searching. Moments later, BAM, I get a discount on my order! SAY WHAAAT??! NOICE. I couldn't thank her enough. This is the definition of quality customer service with exceeding satisfaction. No worries, it ain't going unannounced, 5 stars for joooo. Will also complete their survey, well deserved :) read more

I would give this store a zero if I could. Only because I had bad customer service. A young lady with colored hair maybe pink or blue should be fired for having such a bad attitude when I was treating her with respect. read more

Curbside pickup is a joke. Tried calling for 10+ mins ... parking lot empty. And they didn't answer and after a while it would go to 'user busy', No ringing at all. If you have health issues and are wanting to use curbside pickup be mindful you could drive to the store for nothing, if they don't answer. You've been warned. read more

Came by on a Friday afternoon for a quick stop to pick up some "welcome baby" balloons. There were two woman towards the balloon area as I walked in and they quickly acknowledge me and said hi. We had a brief conversation since I knew I wanted balloons and was interested in a bouquet set (already packaged). They directed me where to get it, but I ultimately decided to pick the balloons myself. After choosing my balloons I mentioned I needed to use the restroom. The lady assisting me advised me where it was and asked one of the other employees to make sure it was unlocked. They seemed very attentive (in contrary to Yelp reviews) but they don't smile much lol. I docked stars because the employees don't seem approachable and the restrooms were dirty. Overall, the place is just "OK" as my 3 stars represent. read more

Standard party supply store. Kinda expensive when you can get the same stuff for 99 cents at another store. Gets crowded around Halloween. Good selection of costumes, exciting to see kids line up with their parents for their choice of fairies, ghouls or heroes. read more

Great customer services by Melissa(I believe that is her name)!! I will definitely shop here again. Thank you for caring!

Be careful with online ordering. I placed an order for a bouquet of balloons which was a $50 bouquet to be picked up Sunday at 1030am. It asks you online if you want to designate another person for pick up I marked no. I go Sunday to pick up my order and the cashier Yesenia said they picked it up yesterday with my order#. She said they called and said they were picking up the order early and she kept saying they had my order#. She was kind of rude about it. I said no one knew about this order and I never called I did everything online. And she kept with the same shit. So another employee comes over and she was nice and I pulled out my ID and showed her it was my name and asked her does the card # show cause here's the card I used. She was nice and replaced my order. She is the only reason they aren't getting 1 star. They need to verify with more than the order#, seeing the reviews shows this has happened before. read more

We Went to this store to see if they were better at customer service then the Monrovia location My guess is they are being POORLY TRAINED by the same incomplete management personnel Such a shame that these stores aren't trying any more. Has the stores been sold to a company that just doesn't get it We are giving up on all party city's, as they have clearly demonstrated they have given up themselves..... for now it's the 99 cent stores Great service. Staff still knows that a smile and kind words go a long long way towards happy customers read more

They deserve NO STARS! They are stupid butts! We ordered actually PRE-ORDERED 49ner balloons and when i showed up they said they were gone and given to someone else even tho they said they would check ID's!!!! They had no more balloons to offer and Yajaira (Manager) was being rude!!!!! Wasted my timee and yes i got a refund but wasnt the point!!!! We needed these for a party and her being lame did NOT help! No sorrys just "uh uh uh " ugh NEVER AGAIN! read more

I ordered online for pick up so I could just run in and pick up my order. The order was ready but cashier didn't know how to " check me out" so I had to wait 10-15 minutes for a manager. Everyone was very nice and apologetic but looks like staffing wasn't up to capacity as the manager was having to distribute costumes in the back. This is one of the busiest times of the year for party city, they should have appropriate staffing. read more

Seriously the worst customer service they need to hire staff that actually want to work it's so annoying to go to a party store and the staff is completely rude and useless and best of all the store I'd full of balloons they offer free HELIUM when you buy a package only problem is they NEVER HAVE HELIUM again what's the point of being a party store and cant even help your customers to top it off I just called right now...Monday morning fyi to ask if they have HELIUM and she said it like it was a joke nope! And that was pretty much the end of the conversation I would love for this issue go up to party city's corporate office so they can maybe fix this issue read more

Horrible service and doesn't know how to do there job. We went to fill up our own balloons and once we walked out the door one flew away because it was not tied on the string. One flying away is an honest mistake which we understand and we had to pay $10 for another ballon. When we got to our event the balloons were not on the strings AGAIN! They didn't fly away again but it's ridiculous that they can't do there job right. read more

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!! I came in to return a couple decorations. There was one girl at the register and one sitting on the floor. The blond girl at the register told me since I had no receipt I could get store credit or exchange it. So as she starts to proceed with the return Misty (the girl sitting on the floor) says I can only exchange. She continued to tell me that the other associate didn't know about returns all while still sitting on the floor. She was extremely rude and unprofessional. It's mind blowing how unprofessional these associates were. I would assume the store policies would be the first thing they are trained on. Sitting on the floor while talking to a customer is just trashy. Management really needs to do a better job at training their associates. read more

I didn't want to do this, but I was annoyed. So I've came to this location many times it's me local party city. I've never encountered any problems, the wait at the register is long they only have like one cash register open! That's inconvenient. My problem happened a couple days ago I went in to buy a balloon for my friend to attach it to her birthday present , I bought it the day of because that night was her birthday dinner. I bought it around 4 pm, I took it out of my car brought it inside got ready for the dinner it was 7:15 pm by the time I was leaving my house. I got the balloon and it was getting deflated ! I had time to go back to party city to let them know, the girl who blew up my balloon was there she recognized me. She ended up blowing the same balloon up after checking it. I went to go pick up my boyfriend who lives around Kaiser hospital a couple minutes away from the party city. We were making our way to dinner when he looks at the balloon and tells me it looks like it's disinflating... AGAIN! I made a U-turn and went back to party city for the 3rd time. So the girl was still there I told her something was wrong with the balloon, she told her coworker to get me a new one. So, I was given a new one and finally left to my friends dinner. Tell me why on our way there the new balloon was also disinflating! I was so annoyed at this point. During the dinner the balloon looked like it was weeks old. I had my friend send me a picture of the balloon the next day. I was so disappointed, I want to say something was wrong with the balloons I don't want to question and say the girls at party city don't know how to blow up balloons or did it on purpose? $12+ for the big balloon and it didn't even last a couple of minutes. read more

Do not come to this location. They no longer inflate outside balloons. I was in a crunch and the girl helping me could not care less to help in inflating a few balloons. In fact, she was annoyed and bothered. The worst customer service. Sent me to the store in West Covina. read more

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. The employees were extremely rude and one of them was eating chips while helping customers.. so unprofessional. The girls "looking for the costumes" in the back were also openly talking about their personal life as if they weren't at work and were being overall useless. They were also ignoring customers who have been waiting for a long time. The employees are probably one of the reasons why this place is closing down because they don't know what good customer service is. HIGHLY DONT RECOMMEND COMING HERE !! read more

TERRIBLE HALLOWEEN SHOPPING. Okay so we got here at around 7:30 and placed an order. We waited over an hour while everyone that got there after us was receiving their costume. The people in the back said they didn't get the ticket and the person taking the orders said they sent it. The back person said they're being honest when they say if tickets fall on the floor they ignore them. A manager looking lady came out was also of no help with her attitude. At about 9:20 they told us they don't have the damn costume even though they said they do. I regret ever coming here and it was a terrible experience and I wasted the only night I have free this week waiting. Do not come here ever. read more

I purchased 2 small packs of plain latex balloons and was told I could return to get them filled up for free. When I returned, I was billed $1 PER balloon?! I explained what I was told and the associate was very unempathetic and told me that only applied to Mylar balloons. That makes no sense! Why would I buy those foil balloons and hold onto them? I ended up paying $40 for small balloons that cost me maybe $5. This is so ridiculous considering I was told it would be free to fill them!! read more
