Never had any kind of experience like Gretchen did. In fact, quite the opposite. Of course, this is for the trade only, so if Gretchen was in the trade, or not new to it, she would not have had some of the problems she did. First, there is no such thing as color accuracy in any proof (unless they actually run it on the press first) and there's no such thing as color accuracy in gang run printing either. If color accuracy is a need then you are rolling the dice using an online printer. Go local for that. You will bug the heck out of the shop owner but it's the only way. 500 business cards cost maybe $15. Full color on both sides, 14 pt. stock and printed in a few days. Plus you can get UV coating for a dollar more. Plus they use eco-friendly inks and offer an OK choice of eco-friendly paper. I haven't found anyone that beats that. Overnight prints offers some good options. Vista is kind of a joke. You definitely get what you pay for from Vista. I have called their customer service a few times. It's hit or miss. I'd call it fair at best. I think it depends on who you talk to. However, they did call me once and saved me a lot of time on a job because of a mistake I made. So, I'm not complaining. I also got a call from someone apologizing for not sending my samples out quickly enough. I don't want to jinx myself, because normally when I say anything good about someone, they end up screwing me over. So far Partner Printing hasn't done that. I am very happy with them and have made pretty good money because I can fairly mark up the prices. Also, I think the work is very good and I've been in the business for 15 years. Everyone wins, except Gretchen I guess. Anyway, I'd give them a B plus (maybe A minus). But they suit me well and I understand their limitations. read more

Following up on my last review (where Partner Printing cost us $1000's in screw ups and hadn't offered a refund) Partner proceeded to screw up an additional $2500 worth of printing (which we had called to verify would be available in the time frame required). After requesting a refund, we proceeded to dispute the credit card charges in November, and in January, we received an e-mail from a team member at Partner/4-Over, wanting to know why we had disputed the charges on our credit card bill. They also threatened to suspend our "credit privileges" (didn't know we had them) if we didn't offer an explanation. I politely responded, explaining that we had discussed the issues at the time they had occurred, and hadn't received a response, so we went an alternate route. I also explained that we had been working with Partner for over half-a-decade and had never seen so many consistent print errors. I asked for a response, and stated that I was happy to drop the credit card dispute if they would simply refund the money, as they had cost us nearly $3000 extra to have the items rush-reprinted locally. After two weeks, they refused to respond, and as of February 10th, they cancelled our account. After 6+ years of working with them, and over $150,000 in printing, we will find someone local to work with. This level of service is ridiculous and incredibly disappointing. read more

It's so hard to believe some reviewer have bad reviews for Partner Printing - especially the customer service! It's actually that very reason why I send all our project to this company. I have sent literally hundreds of print jobs to Partner Printing and not only do I consistently get quality stock, color and overall print service, but I have received only attentive, dedicated, personal care from each customer service representative I work with. When you have dozens of jobs processing at once, including the additional service of custom work, mail services, and shipping all over the country, having happy, friendly professionals on your side that care about your jobs as much as you do is critical! I think it's pretty clear that those unhappy people are probably not trade professionals and are frustrated by their own lack of production skills. Maybe they're just bad communicators. Whatever their personal reasons, for those of you who are using these reviews to help you decide on the right professional, experienced, quality trade print facility with helpful customer service to work with, I can not recommend Partner Printing enough. You owe it to yourself to at least call them, learn more, send a job or two through, and see for yourself. Great prices too!! read more

Partner Printing is for professionals printers, graphic designers, PR and advertising agencies. if you are not a professional who has experience creating and setting up files for printers to use - you will have a problem. I have used Partner since 1989 when they were Colour Concepts. Partner does a great job 95 percent of the time, the other 5 percent they fix IF its there fault. They are very busy so get the name, email and direct number of a customer service rep and you will be taken care of, but remember this is gang printing for pros. If you want super accurate printing they can do that to but at a higher cost. Click on the custom quote button or go see a local printer who will let you come in for a press check during the press run. I enjoy working with Partner Printing and use them for a lot of our printing - they are great. I know the owner and the shop manager, they are tough but fair. i am not an investor nor do i have any ownership interest. WARNING - if you don't know the difference between a RGB and CMYK files, or using high resolution eps or tiff images, or how to create a PDF with fonts included, or if you use Microsoft Publisher do not use Partner Printing you will be disappointed. read more

Hi, I am a Freelance Graphic Designer in Fresno, CA. and I have been a customer of Partner Printing for about 5 Years now. I have only experienced one minor issue that was resolved in a professional manner that pleased both my client and myself. Other than that I have nothing but good things to say about them. Over the years I have ordered over hundreds of Business Cards, Flyers, Posters, Postcards, Mailers, Etc. and have had satisfied clients every single time... as a matter of fact most of my clients always come back for re-orders because of the low cost and great quality. It is true that some people may have had a bad experience with them but in all reality we need to consider all the factors involved... like someone said it may have been because of a file format that was not ready for print and had to be sent back or maybe "the designer" did not add the proper bleed dimensions or what not. We have to consider what really happened and be honest with ourselves to accept responsibility and maybe it really was'nt Partner Printing's fault. Hi All, I've been a happy customer of Partner Printing.com for many years. I have never had a problem using a promotion code at Partner Printing. Upon joining Partner Printing as a trade printer, I was told that all promo codes must be entered at the time of order placement to qualify. Partner Printing's customer service personnel have always been very helpful and their product quality and pricing are excellent. Partner Printing has been my preferred vendor since my first online order. Not all people who call themselves trade printers understand how to do business with web-to-print resources . This person appears to be one of them. I've dealt with several online trade printers and Partner Printing is by far the best I've worked with. Partner Printing is great. Their products and pricing are excellent and they have helped me out of some tight situations. I use them for all my printing needs and have for the past 4-5 years. Their customer service is great. Sure, you have to wait a minute or two to speak with someone in customer service. That is what speaker phones are for. They are busy because they are good and take the time needed to resolve callers' issues. Every time I have needed help with an order, I have had my problems resolved satisfactorily. Just this morning, I needed their help in order to make a deadline (it was my fault I was late) and they gave me a free upgrade so that I would get my materials in time. I noticed the date of these negative reviews: 2008. I'm here to tell you that I have been working with this company long distance for at least four years and every single print job has been absolutely perfect. Not only that, the people have been absolutely wonderful to work with, from finding mailing information, obscure graphics tech info, to just getting general information about an order. This is a ''trade-only'' company which means the average customer knows a lot more about the business than a walk-in customer getting a print job done. I'm not sure what the 3 previous reviews are talking about. I have had nothing but great results with Partner Printing. Quality printing, great pricing and excellent customer service. However if you know little or nothing about professional printing and preparation you might have problems. I had to learn their production language (I'm not a professional) and learn the correct way to submit work. I've been a customer for well over six years and they have never disappointed me. One start is too much for these guys, let me be honest. If you want to be cheated and lied to then Partner Printing is where you need to go! For weeks they've been leading my company on and then sitting on the jobs. They avoid customer calls, reject emails, have a small staff that obviously doesn't know how to work with anyone else, and make fun of customers behind their backs! Wow, I have to say, my experiences with Partner Printing has been much better than the first review. I've ordered about 70 print jobs from these guys and have always been satisfied. If I forget to upload my artwork on a job I always get a call (sometimes several) from a real person to remind me. But, what I'm most satisfied with is their competitive pricing. UPS Damaged my order and returned the package to Partner. Since then (2 weeks) I have been trying to get the order reprinted and shipped. Donald Montz assured me it was being reprinted and shipped on 9/1. It's now the 8th, and I have been on hold for 30+ minutes! Not sure this will ever get done!
