He was incredibly patient listened to my goals and helped me with club selection, customization, and ensuring my purchasing transaction went smoothly. Every time we come in he's so welcoming and is always checking in with us to see if there's anything we need or just to say hey. It really helps to create a community feel especially when you're just getting started on your golf journey. If you're looking for anything club related I highly recommend reaching out to him.

I've been to this store a lot and have had many different older guys help me and it's always the same annoying experience. Sometimes the younger guys aren't as knowledgeable but at least they don't try to boss you around or talk down to you....I'm sure it's a completely different experience if you are a man.........When my husband comes here - he always says it's a lovely, helpful experience for him - no matter which sales employee he gets.................... This store is the best in the area though in terms of size and sheer quantity of merchandise available! This store is massive and has the best golf selection in OC! They offer so many different types of clothing, golf accessories and new and used clubs. I've bought a few sets of clubs here both for myself and my kids and they are all top quality! I also like how they have a 3 month return policy and if you want to upgrade your clubs within 1 year you get a $699.99 credit for any pre-packaged Adult Package or Starter Set. I haven't used that for myself but I did take advantage of that for my kids. I also like their indoor driving range to try out new clubs. I've purchased clothing and golf accessories here as well and they have a super great selection and variety. Overall, I just wish the sales employees weren't so condescending to women.... but the younger guys don't do that as much, so like I said, just try to get a younger guy to help you if you're female and it will be a much more pleasant shopping experience! This is a 5 star store but if you're a woman you blatantly don't get treated as well as if you're a man - hence my 4 star review.

Their 90 day return policy is ridiculously good too! Today, I'd shot the best round I'd shot in 23 years! With a driver I was playing with for the first time! Their patience and "...give a shit quotient" is off of the charts good! I appreciate the Country Club service and especially their warehouse pricing, but above all of that, their honesty stands out above the rest!!! Thank you guys, I haven't made 6 birdies in a round in 23 years (I was 49 then) and playing from the blue tees is definitely fun again all thx to you guys!!!

I had one of the best retail experiences I can remember, and honestly, it started somewhere else…read more I was at Dick's Sporting Goods looking for running shoes for my daughter when I wandered over to the golf section to check out drivers. One of the employees came up and asked if I needed help. I asked a basic question about why some drivers were more expensive than others, and the answer I got was pretty surface-level--basically, "they're newer and have better technology." He offered to let me swing a few, which I did, but then he surprised me by saying, "You might be better off going next door to Roger Dunn Golf Shops." I thought that was weird for one store to be sending me to a competitor... Did I smell? I took his advice, and I'm really glad I did. At Roger Dunn, the experience was on a completely different level. I got fully fitted for clubs using real data--club speed, ball speed, spin rate, trajectory, distance--the whole deal. They had the equipment to actually measure everything and dial in what worked best for my joke of a swing. I was able to try multiple clubs at a variety of prices and compare them side by side in a way and with data that made sense. What really stood out was the time and attention I got. The guy helping me didn't rush, didn't push, and gave genuinely helpful advice the entire time. In a retail world where customer experience often feels like an afterthought, this was the exact opposite. I walked out with a driver that felt right, cost way more than I was intending on spending and more importantly, confidence that I made the right choice. I won't be buying golf stuff anywhere else. Huge thank you to the guy who proved to me with technology, patience, a passion for the game and great communication that you can play as well as you want, as long as you're ready to swipe your card. top notch!

After trying a few clubs we determined to purchase a driver and a couple of fairway woods. We started discussing irons and Steve suggested that we wait to order those. He sent me to get a few lessons with a great PGA instructor and to work on my stance and swing. He shared with me to come back after those lessons and then we could figure out the "proper clubs" for me once I was able work on re-learning a proper stance. 6 weeks later I returned to the shop and we determined the correct clubs, shafts and hozzle angle to complete my set. When completed, I not only had a new set up clubs but improved my handicap by 8 strokes. Since that time I have moved out of state however I just ordered two additional clubs that Steve will be ordering and have mailed to me 1,800 miles away from the shop.
