We were meeting college friends tonight who were all celebrating their 50th wedding anniversaries in the recent or coming months. We thought we would surprise them with bouquets at dinner. We called Parsons as they are down the street from the restaurant and we thought that would be easy for us to pick up and take with us. Jay answered when I called the store - so glad to talk to a human - and he helped me design 3 unique but similar bouquets for the 3 couples. We discussed price, colors and types of flowers, and presentation. They delivered the bouquets to the restaurant so we did not even need to pick them up. We called the restaurant about an hour before our reservation to let them know the flowers were coming and to hold them for us. Parsons called me to let me know when the flowers would be delivered - I love that they checked in! The hostess at the restaurant held them for us and kept them until after dinner to present to our friends. The bouquets were BEAUTIFUL and smelled so lovely, very fresh! Our friends were overjoyed that we thought of their anniversaries and they loved the flowers! See pictures, which really don't do them justice! We will definitely use Parsons again. We came here for flower arrangements for our wedding. We ended up getting everything flower related from here, from the boutonnieres to the corsages to the table center pieces and even a special vase of flowers that I requested. We were quoted a reasonable price and with little instructions except what is the color palate of the wedding - they went to work! We requested "champange and white" for all the center pieces and just an elegant white in a taller vase for a tribute to my late father for the wedding. The table center pieces were perfect! Tall enough to be noticed in the middle of each table, but short enough to not obscure the view of the people across the table. They mixed white and tan/champange flowers with touches of green stems and leaves to make it absolutely beautiful. The taller tribute vase was my favorite. Very elegant white roses and some other smaller white flowers and beautifully done made me tear when I saw the completed set up as a tribute. We asked for a delivery for the flowers to show up at the venue and they showed up right on time for us. I would highly recommend them. read more

A small little flower shop in the Bayside Hills area who will put together a beautiful arrangement for you at any price point. The florist and her crew always does a spectacular job in arranging and showcasing her flowers. The flowers are always fresh and the workers are always pleasant, as you should be surrounded by all these beautiful and bright colored flowers. The store has some beautiful long cut roses in the fridge with 3 of the more popular colors of red, yellow and pink. The orchids are stunning as well, but I learned in the past stunning will cost you. Since I am not a botanist, they have a "jungle" of different flowers to choose from. Cash and credit cards are welcomed, but there is a $10 minimum for credit cards. Yes, buying flowers here will be a little bit more expensive than buying them from your giant warehouse store, but supporting your local florist does have it's reward especially when you did something wrong, nothing says "I'm sorry" faster and prettier than Casa Flora, your friendly neighborhood florist to the rescue and you don't even need a membership card to get in! read more

However the last 2 visits, they really skimped out and I know inflation is happening but my flowers were $60 and were not pretty. It's a small shop with a wide array of flower arrangements to choose from. You can also order ahead and request a specific designs and the florist crew will prepare it for you. Initially, I intended to go in for a dozen roses, but after about 15mins, I ended up leaving with a beautiful arrangement of flowers including orchids, red roses, yellow roses and other flowers. I was not aware of this shop until my wife found it by doing her own research. my wife order a white rose corsage with teal ribbons to match the dress for my daughter. I must warn you, they lady behind the counter speaks very limited English. She some suggestions and ideas that they were able to show us on a Ipad. i thought that was pretty cool, since we were not getting much in the form of conversation as the gentlemen at the counter was not engaging either. based on the arrangements we came to an agreement and requested to pick up the next day. upon picking up, my wife called me and she said she was very happy to see the end result. will come back and buy all of my future arrangements from this florist. read more

Came here for a last minute graduation bouquet. I guess the medium sized bouquet was a little pricey considering the fact that there were only 2 different types of flowers but to be fair we picked the flowers out. The flower shop had a ton of different types of flowers. I was really surprised when I walked in. I visited another flower shop on Bell Blvd. before I came here and they had almost no more flowers and said flat out said they were "closing in 10 minutes" (aka telling us to hurry up) so it was refreshing to walk into a FLOWER shop with actual FLOWERS and a nice, helpful staff. The worker gave me really good advice on the flowers and how to take care of them. I had a ton of questions, and the lady answered all of them very knowledgeably. The flowers were also really fresh! Explained exactly what I wanted, gave budget, etc. I arrive at the shop, NO BOUQUET IS READY! I was told it would easier for me to create the bouquet in the store while I was there. The point of the text and picture exchange was to save time. I arrived there thinking the bouquet was ready. On another occasion, the courier came to pick up the flowers and the bouquet wasn't ready. The courier picked out the flowers, what a disaster! On another occasion I was told, "We are back ordered on flowers." I didn't understand this response as we just exchanged pictures of the flowers they had IN THE STORE! I was asking for flowers they clearly had in stock based on the picture they sent me of their fridge. How can I trust this shop with big and frequent orders? On a positive note, their flowers are of good quality and they have lovely paper, but service standards are DEPLORABLE! read more

Awful service. We called in advance, as they were one of the only flower shops open. We bought a bouquet of flowers and brought in another bouquet from somewhere else and asked them to wrap both the flowers together, since they were already wrapping the flowers we just purchased. It turned into a big argument between them and there was a language barrier. They said it was the store policy to only wrap flowers purchased there, but we had already purchased a large bouquet from them, called in advance and told them we were running late. It isn't a hard task and would be extremely helpful for us as we were running late to a wedding. In the end, they refused to even wrap the flowers we purchased from them since we asked to speak to the manager and had to do it ourselves on the curb. Since I live in California it's hard to be too picky but I've used a number of flower shops before finding Casa Flora that I was not happy with. I've ordered from here twice now both times I was very happy with. One for a family member that passed and one for Mother's Day. Both of which I asked for designer choice (letting them be creative) I was just specific saying I wanted a standing spray for the first and a vase arrangement for the second. Even though it was a Sunday and they were soon to close, they were helpful and very willing to make a beautiful bouquet designed around some yellow roses which I had asked for.
