The staff is very friendly, helpful and patient. The guy helping us held up a few trees while we were trying to decide, trimmed it where we wanted, tied it up and helped us get it securely in the car. From the dreamy stage to the practical portion of what your outdoor and indoor plans will become, takes little effort with the knowledge and support of the staff, who can get your questions answered in a clear and concise manner. If I were to pinpoint a particular characteristic that distinguishes my purchasing history, a knowledge based customer service relationship always is atop the pecking order. (Something one will never get at Home Depot which is a mere few blocks up Woodhaven Blvd) With the middle portion of the vegetable gardening season upon us, every plant I purchased at Florist Hills & Garden Center is producing vegetables, growing tall and strong and continue to thrive in my backyard, which previously had really no nutrients in the soil nor fertilizer, it was just dirt, dirty dirt.. Based on the plants being spaced improperly and their continued ability to flourish with daily watering I know why now it is that I find myself walking the isles every two weeks. Whatever I plant, whatever the advice I receive, it can be trusted.
