The location only had about 3 prepared arrangements in the "cooler" and some outside of it inside the store. Rather than ask what they can make for you, they were trying to get me to pick a pre-made arrangement on the side but they were all wilted already. I ended up paying more money for an overpriced bouquet only because it looked fresher and I needed it for my daughter's birthday and didn't have more time to go to another location. I had the extreme pleasure and good fortune to order from Bell Bay Florist this morning. It was a dear friend's 93rd birthday and I wanted to celebrate her. I don't live near the florist. I personally hate flowers because I have pretty intense allergies and do not believe that, for the price, they are a good use of monetary resources. That being said, I realize that if everyone thought like me, much of the economy would collapse. Peonies are ridiculously expensive and difficult to obtain this time of year, thanks to the proximity with Mother's Day weekend and general scarcity. I called Michael in a panic on May 9, advising that I would require peonies by May 10. Michael really scrambled to get me flowers. For that, I must thank him. Gus and Mike are the absolute best. I ordered 60 roses for my mother's 60th birthday. They listened to exactly what my sister and I wanted, were in touch with us and delivered an absolutely STUNNING bouquet of roses. It brought my mother to tears and was above what we even imagined. The roses were high quality, the bouquet was put together meticulously and the delivery was right on time! Last summer, I also used this florist for my friend's bridal shower. Do not use this florist! I recently ordered a bouquet and was ripped off! Check pics to see what they actually deliver... Ordered for my moms 80th bday. She was happy to get anything but I was angry I didn't get what I ordered. Women at shop told me when I ordered, no problem - we can do that arrangement. Obviously not. When I called and spoke with owner- he was rude, spoke over me, did not listen to what I was saying. He told me they just fill the order based on price. It doesn't matter what the online pics look like. So why have pics to choose from? Then after sounding annoyed with me that I dare complain, he offered to take off $20. He acted as if he was insulted to have to do so. The bouquet was not worth half of what I paid. You look and decide. He then said if I want, he can go take back the flowers and give me my money back! I shoulda went to a deli to get flowers bad service and the lady blames it on not having coffee. Over priced again shoulda went to the deli.
