Not anymore and I strongly advise everyone to avoid them that (although I previously used to heavily recommend them) I will now be certain to use every platform available to share our experience. Throughout the summer, I called to schedule an appointment and was repeatedly told they were many weeks, if not months, backed up but I could call for cancellations. All this time, I let them know that the unit was dripping on the floor even though we had cleaned the condensation line. By September, it was dripping so much that it was damaging the hardwood floors. On September 19th, I finally got an appointment - in December (as they said they were booked up past Thanksgiving.) Waiting a week or two, or even three, is manageable. Waiting three months is unacceptable. Shortly after making that appointment, I called another company - and they came out within a week. We are now looking at needing a completely new system when we didn't even get 5 years out of this one. The new techs told us it was installed incorrectly - thus straining the system. I tried to give ACE the opportunity to make it right - at the very least, they could have apologized - if not given me a (small) discount on a new system. I understand people make mistakes and I wasn't looking for thousands of dollars. Instead, they blamed us for not getting routine maintenance - when the unit is managed by someone with a certification in property management and was routinely maintained... we had called them that time (as we had in the past) because it was a significant issue beyond routine care. They called me back to let me know they thought we should "kinda part ways." So, in addition to needing a new 11k system just 5 years after buying one from them, I now have 10k in hardwood floor damage as well. What they should have done from the start was told me it was best to "kinda part ways" when I initially called and was staying loyal while trying to get them to come out for most of the summer. Never again - I understand the system is no longer under warranty but it should have been installed correctly and it shouldn't take months to get a technician out in an emergency.

We have a dual zoned boiler with water baseboard heat which is not common for the area. Several other companies have abandoned mid fix because they couldn't figure it out and never come back. They are the only company that will work through the actual problem.

This company came to my home two months ago to fix my broken heat pump because I was not getting any heat and to this date has not resolved the situation. They are telling me that they are overwhelmed with service calls from both their customers and from many customers who had their units installed by other installers. Many of the local HVAC companies have been bought up by large corporations, and many of these customers are now satisfied with these larger, corporations, and want to deal with a local company. I have given Fannon many opportunities to finish their work, but they're telling me that I will just have to wait until their business slows down. Their secretary told me that their business doesn't usually slow down until March so that I will likely have to wait until March 2026. The owner of the company tells me pretty much the same thing.

The capacitor had a 1 year warranty which was great because a few weeks later, a field mouse somehow found its way into the housing and shorted the darn thing, so it had to be replaced. A Action Review A…read moreAction is competent and punctual, but they tend to mislead about costs and overcharge compared to others in the area. We first used them for an issue with our AC because they are 5 minutes from our house. The tech was pretty straight-forward about diagnosing and repairing the broken motor. The only weird thing was the dude went around our house when we weren't looking putting their A Action stickers on several of our appliances, as if they were the ones that installed all of them. I had to go peel all of the ugly stickers off of things like our washing and drying machines and plumbing fixtures. The first experience was fine, so when the AC was on the fritz a year later we called them again for a repair. The tech comes out and says the motor capacitor is broken. He quotes us $500 to replace it with a "high-performance" capacitor. Then when the work is done, bills us for $900. "Well, the $500 was just for the parts. The final bill includes diagnosis and labor." For a 45-minute visit. I checked online after and we could have had the same generic part delivered to our house 3 days later from a local supplier for $55. I get that there is a premium for having the part on the truck to fix it right then and there, but a 1,000% markup for a stock part that I can replace myself is over the top. We called them again for an estimate on a new plumbing installation. We get told estimates are free. The tech shows up and looks over the work that needs done. Then he says we owe him $100 before he leaves. "I thought the estimate was free?" "It's for the diagnosis, not the estimate." Then they never even got back to us with a quote for the project. We'll look elsewhere from now on. We've worked with other licensed techs in this area for less money that are just as professional and responsive and don't change prices on you after the fact.

He was respectful, courteous, and persistent, staying until he figured out exactly what was going on. It took a little time for the replacement part to come in, but as soon as it arrived, Frosty's sent Tyler out to complete the repair. He was great about communicating what he was doing and worked for hours in the hot sun to get my unit back up and running. I really appreciate a company that stands behind its work and makes sure its customers are taken care of, especially when an HVAC emergency happens over a weekend.
