Receptionist was incredibly friendly and was able to schedule me for the next morning, and offered me a new customer discount for the service call, which was significantly cheaper than other companies I spoke with. Michael called and gave a 30 mins heads up before he arrived. Took a look at both systems in my house, thoroughly walked me through each system and answered every question I had. He fixed the hot zones I had in my master bedroom, and explained how to best leverage my existing systems to maximize air flow throughout the house to make it more comfortable. He also provided some future recommendations on upgrades once I'm ready. I would highly recommend this company to anyone looking for a reliable, friendly and honest HVAC company.

John came out and was very straight forward and up front with everything he did. He explained the issue to me, how he would fix it, and even provided some recommendations I may want to do in the future. My second time I used Bluestar was on a Sunday and they are closed on Sunday's. I did not realize this at first and left them a voicemail in the morning. Realizing they were closed I called another company who would have charged me more than Bluestar to come out later that afternoon to look at the problem which was that my Nest Thermostat was giving an E73 error code meaning it was not getting power. To my surprise I received a call from John at Bluestar that afternoon prior to the other HVAC company coming out. I discussed my thermostat issue not getting power with John and he suggested several troubleshooting fixes I could try over the phone. After eliminating several causes of what the problem may be John suggested holding down the front panel cover switch to the unit to see if a power light was coming on. In doing this I noticed sometimes the light would come on and sometimes it would not. There seemed to be a loose connection in the a wire that was causing the switch not to supply power. After playing with the switch for a few minutes I got the power to stay on and the problem was fixed. John solved my problem and saved me a good deal of money as I canceled my appointment with the other HVAC company. John took over 20 minutes talking to me on the phone going above an beyond to help me solve my AC issue on the day the company is closed. I would highly recommend BluStar to anyone and will use them for all my future HVAC needs.

They damaged the gas line to our furnace when installing a new AC unit, resulting in a gas leak. We…read moresmelled the gas, and had one of their technicians out to take a look, who swore nothing was wrong. Called the gas company, who identified a large leak and shut off the gas/tagged the unit for repair. Upon calling Evercool back to request repair, they were very defensive and unprofessional, and we finally said forget it, we'll call someone else, whereupon they hung up on us...after a grand total of 3 minutes. It also turns out they made several errors with the install and we had to hire another hvac company to fix it. Yes, it was under warranty. No, we did not trust them to do it right. 100% do not recommend.

I appreciated his candor in talking me through what all he did during his visit, as well as giving me some tips on where to procure a replacement AC filter (I'm sure there's a more official name for it but in any case, they are the Honeywell ones that one can procure at Home Depot). Furthermore, their receptionist Ann / Anne (spelling?) has been nothing short of pleasant when helping coordinate check-up appointments. So many times when a customer calls for service (be it yard-work, any form of house maintenance, you name it...), their employee tasked with staffing the phones is a real nightmare. Therefore I am always pleased and pleasantly surprised when I receive delightful customer service over the phone!
