The car is 18 years old and he charge me a loan of $26,000 and as soon as I got the car the check engine light came on and when I tried to trade it in they said I could not the manager is rude. Ok..so first of all I bought a 2008 truck from you guys. I know my credit was not good, but the Douglasville office told me 400 a month and come to find out it was 400 biweekly. It took writing a complaint to bbb and you guys went back and reduced my payments on a new contract. I did appreciate that much. But they charge 19k on a 2008 with 177k miles. The sunroof went out within a week, and them the power seats stopped working, and then the engine blew..it was all I could take..could not spend over 500 a month and afford this lemon y'all sold me..plus y'all ask me to take my comment off bbb and I was going to if Bert Park would call me and talk to me about this situation. Plus I saved a long time to afford a 1700 dollar down payment. I had the truck 2 months and now not only do I not have a vehicle. I had to volunteer repo it and my credit is ruined. I know there is probably nothing you will do for me. I don't want to, but I plan on going on every review site and let people know about my experience with Pars Cars. I would take the comment off the BBB and not go forward with this any farther if y'all at least refund my 1700 down payment. Or at least some of it.. I had the car 2 months and now it has affected my life in the worst of ways. Please let's figure something out. I now owe 19k to the finance company, and they even apologized to me because they knew you did me wrong. I was sold a car that was not serviced and I purchased it on 08/02 and brought it back on 08/03 and 08/04 and the Michael told me when you get a car whatever needs to be done on it is your responsibility. They sell lemon cars with no carfax to people with challenging credit. They have people giving reviews before even having the car 30 days. I got a car that was total crap and sold with so many issues that I have videos and pictures of. I told them I dont want the car because it almost killed my family and its bad business to take advantage of someone because of their credit and then I brought the car back on 08/04 because on 08/03 it was raining and the car alignment was horrible on the hwy and almost swerved into an 18 wheeler with my kids aged 3-9 in the car and now they are trying to say the car is a voluntary repo. The car was dirty with cat hair and those cars have lots of scratches and dings and just arent clean and they are definitely overpriced. Dont go here at all go to BBB and read those reviews which are way more honest than michael telling you to do a review the same day to cover anything that might happen in the future. The picture below shows every light on the next day. Dont get caught up here with the as is because they will tell you that a contract was signed and there will be nothing you can do to get out of it. Its been almost 60 days since I have had the car and Mark knows the issues and still wont cancel the loan instead he is trying to charge me over 15k for a car I havent had since 08/03 to turn around and sell it to someone else and make the same money he is trying to get out of me I have so many pictures and videos of the car before I dropped it off. I even drove pass the lot 3-4 times and the car in my name is not even there. So I have no car, a car loan and debt and they wont see how they are wrong and just cancel it why would you mess someones credit up with a repo for a car they had literally less than 48 hrs. Then they offered me another vehicle and only had it for 2 months and it needs $1600 in repairs. They don't check the cars out before they put it on the lot. BIGGEST SCAM EVER!!!! my truck that I purchased from them, not even a year ago, caught fire (Thank god my children were not in the car). I found out that Nissan had a massive recall on this model and year and settled out of court for this same problem. So not only did the sale us a recalled car, the financial company that works with them scammed money out of us also. They told us that we could trade it in if we paid the months note. We paid them $500, but when we got there, everybody from the manager, who we have been talking to for 7 days, and the financial company changed everything they agreed on. We also put over $2000 of work into the truck, not including oli changes etc. Dont do this to yourselves. Make sure you always have proof. Record your conversation. Protect yourself. read more

Worst car buying experience EVER! PLEASE don't go there. I wouldn't wish this place on my worst enemy.

I recently visited the location in Duluth. My son and I were met by the most pleasant sales person. That was the only highlight during our 2 hour stay. My concern is that they have you fill out paperwork and produce documents before you look at a car, red flag #1. Once that was done we walked outside to look at the lot, came back in side and then walked back out again for him to point out which cars I can purchase. Of course out of the 6 I liked one. I took for a test drive and truly enjoyed the car, mind you the price of the vehicle is not posted on any of the cars. That should have been red flag #2. We came back inside and was asked how much down, he then returned with a sheet that listed the price of the car, my down payment, line items on my 3 next pick up payments and the amount of my bi weekly car payment, red flag #3. A 2009 Chevy Cobalt was priced at $12k or $13k...oh yeah and no bells and whistles. I had to manually roll up the window, no on star, no alarm system and no warranty. What the heck am I paying for? I would suggest if you are not able to purchase a car at a reputable car dealer DO NOT VISIT THIS PLACE. This is the most sterotypical, ghetto fabulous, purse and jewlry selling, con artist car dealership I've ever seen in my life. I kid you not. They even have chandaliers in their lobby and they ONLY play hip hop music ALL day, in spite of the cursing on the radio stations at which time is inappropriate for children. I bought my first emergency used vehicle from them and I've had it for 6 days. I bought it last Friday, and by yesterday, the ignition lock wasn't working. I've already taken it to another reputable service department and I have all the paperwork. However, Pars says they'll "fix" it for me and "take care of me". I'll keep you posted as to the outcome as it should be very interesting. If at all possible, do not buy from this dealership. They rip off the black community because of poverty, lack of education and the desire some people have to "ride" good vs. ride safe. I will fix this vehicle up elsewhere but overall when I purchase again, it'll never be from this place. Also read what you sign (I did) because they have a lot of "loop" holes in their "CONtracts". Try to never be desparate as I was at the time and save yourself the headache. You'd be better off catching the bus. read more
