At times, it also felt like there was more emphasis on the firm's economic upside than on clearly explaining how the approach would serve me as the client. Over time, I began to feel that my best interests were not being prioritized and I lost trust. The firm ultimately chose to end the representation rather than work through the questions and craft a strategy I felt comfortable with. When I later shared feedback about my experience, the response began with "I don't want to get into too much of a debate here," and then proceeded with a lengthy written response (~ 1,100 words), which felt more focused on self-justification than addressing my concerns and reinforced that my concerns were valid.
