My initial search for a business lawyer started on yelp, and it yielded some impressive results; large firms immediately contacted me with some with 100's of reviews suggesting; "they're the absolute best," "a complete package," and so on, with their quotes adorned with modern and convincing branding. However, Gary took the time to do something none of the others did -- pick up the phone and make sure he knew exactly what we needed for business formation and tailor the quote and charge accordingly. It is refreshing to deal with someone as professional and personable as Gary, and always feel like he's within reach when needed. I'm writing this review based on one phone consultation. Without getting into my personal business I'll just say that this issue is a bit intricate and convoluted. So handling it is delicate. I found this firm on Yelp and submitted a request and in less than 10 minutes an attorney called me back. I explained the situation and he understood me exactly. He not only gave me advice, but explained more clearly the mechanism of the system. He gave me a much better understanding of how to handle my situation. Literally minutes after I spoke with him, I got another phone call from another attorney, from another firm, with whom I'd left a message prior. He was personally referred to me. When I explained my situation to him very succinctly, he wasn't following. I believe I'm a very effective communicator. I had to explain it to him about three times, and I could tell at the end he still wasn't following. He offered no advice, other than to tell me that his fee is $500 an hour and that I need to send him my information to assess. Needless to say that is not happening. So I'm giving Greenberg Bitton five stars because the attorney who called me back (sadly I don't recall his name) was so sharp, so knowledgeable, very patient, and nice, and he gave me great advice. If there was more stars, I would give Gary at least 20 stars. I had an issue with my LLC and had asked my real estate agent for a professional real estate attorney in California (I live in NY). Less than half an hour, I receive a call from Gary.
