Each couple has a different vision for their wedding and want to be able to execute it in the best way possible. I have always adored the artistry behind floral arrangements and felt passionate about finding the best florist in NYC - and we did! From our first phone conversation, I knew Lucy would be the absolute right choice for our eclectic and whimsical Brooklyn wedding. After our conversation, I sent Lucy an email with dozens of floral inspiration photos and she immediately knew what to do. On the day, I fought back tears (I had just put on mascara) when Lucy handed me my GORGEOUS bouquet full of the freshest and most beautiful flowers. The floral arrangements were stunning (some in vases for the cake table/bar and garlands full of greenery and white roses for the table centerpieces). The boutonnieres and bridesmaid bouquets were works of art on their own! Everything was more beautiful than I could have ever imagined. That email she replied in 20min, telling me to stop "threatening" her, that I was not being patient enough, and CRITICIZING ME FOR NOT TIPPING HER. My bridal party and family picked up the florals at the end of the night, even myself (the bride). I made it very clear when the breakdown period would be to prevent the venue from charging overtime, and I was told that they would clean up. Rawan herself was not even at the wedding setting up, just two people whom she hired, and I thought they were strangers coming into the wedding until I noticed them with supplies (which I was informed later were also never collected from the venue). Another issue is that my bridal bouquet had a lot of flowers with the stamens of pollen left on, and it stained my dress before the wedding even started. In all of my photos I'm holding the bouquet away from me to prevent my bouquet from further staining my dress. I luckily was able to put my hair in front of the yellow stain for the rest of the wedding so it wouldn't be seen. I'm extremely disappointed in the service I received. The arrangements that were present came out how I wanted, but I have to warn people especially seeing that I am not the only client she owes money to. UPDATE: Refund was received 6 weeks later. If you would like any installation, use caution because it seems that so long as she pays for the materials, even if you do not receive the service, she does not feel she is obligated to refund you for the money you paid to have the installation present at your wedding (see reply below).

She worked with us to stay within our budget and after sharing a bunch of inspiration images and talking about the vibe of the wedding, she somehow transformed what was in my imagination into the most magnificent display of flowers I have ever seen. Like totally nailed it. My bouquet and the bridesmaids bouquets were GORGEOUS; she was so creative with the florals for the ceremony and the tablescapes (as well as the candles to go with it), it was STUNNING. Our venue had a big blank wall and she created the most incredible floral installation that was utterly breathtaking. Guests were raving about how beautiful it all was and it really made the whole scene magical. One of the best decisions we made for our wedding was working with Aurora Botanica!

After a short initial consultation about what we liked, the Honeysuckle team pulled together a design plan for our space. They were extremely patient when we went back and forth on the layout of the space (which had implications for the quantity and type of arrangements they were making), and everything was extraordinarily beautiful on the day of.

I've put together many events professionally and began the wedding process thinking I'd be able to handle most things myself or hire a friend to help day of. But, as we got deeper into planning, we quickly realized having a month of coordinator was absolutely necessary for a stress-free day. In the months leading up to the wedding, I occasionally peppered Elise with questions, and she always answered quickly and helpfully. We began our meetings together a little over a month out from the big day, and from the start Elise was warm, organized, thoughtful, and professional. She was always two steps ahead of me and anticipated things I never had, even as an extremely Type A bride. Having Elise working behind the scenes made the day such a breeze for me and my husband. We had a detailed and well-planned timeline to go by, and didn't have to worry about the minutiae that can take away from being able to enjoy the day. My husband and I wanted to be entirely present for our wedding, and as natural hosts, it was so nice to not have to worry about all the little details for once. If anything went wrong, we didn't know about it. Our day was that smooth, thanks to Elise. We absolutely loved working with her and highly recommend her to anyone who's wondering if they need a coordinator (you do.)

We worked with Elise as our month of coordinator for our Wedding in December 2015. We can't…read morerecommend her enough! She was absolutely fantastic. I honestly don't know how we would have done it without her, she was amazing at helping us organize family, friends, vendors, timing, music, etc. etc. It was very clear that she'd listened to the type of ceremony and reception we wanted and she made excellent suggestions along the way to make sure everything was ready to go for the big day. On the day she was a wonderful calming influence and just let us (and our families!) enjoy ourselves. She had everything planned down to the minute (and alerted the relevant parties ahead of time) so that she could cue everything up as it happened, seamlessly. At one point my Mum managed to spilt an entire glass of Champagne on my Dad's speech right before we was due to stand up. Though it was pretty funny in hindsight it made him nervous in the moment but without causing any alarm Elise jumped in to help salvaged the speech and gave him her clipboard to make it easier to read. She even noticed that my wife's Grandparents weren't great on their feet so when it came time for the buffet she already had plates prepared for them. It was a pleasure and we were so glad that it meant we were able to just enjoy each other and all of our guests instead of worrying about the event. More than worth it.
