The only 1 star review I've ever given and I wish I could give less. Run, don't walk away from this company. Unfortunately, I didn't have a choice in cabinet company since the GC on my renovation has used them 20 years. Let's take a ride: aside from our kitchen cabinets being delayed a week (ok, it's a pandemic and everyone's renovating/manufacturers are delayed, fine) but first, the sales rep, Jimmy, just straight up didn't order one of our cabinets which, as most of us know, now delays literally everything else (floors, counter tops, appliance installation, etc etc). Once discovered by the installer, I was told it was ordered and could be "hot shot" and be there in a week..2 weeks pass...3..then told it's a "custom color so it's taking longer and will be delivered in 10 days". Jimmy commits to pickup and deliver to my house personally, which he does (ok, there's the 1 star). But the drawer for the cabinet is missing.."we'll order it". The crown molding is a totally different color than the white cabinets as well which was discovered in December during the install."we've ordered it and service guy will have it and install" - come to find out they didn't order the trim until a month later when ordering the drawer? Service guy 1 shows up to fix the cab issues..doesn't have my drawer or the trim. "We'll schedule another service tech to come out". 5th Parrish employee (installer, installer 2, service tech, jimmy, service tech 2) shows up..has the drawer but no trim and says it was "just ordered a week ago". Huh? That issue was discovered 5 weeks ago during install. So, we're now 5 weeks past the original installation appointment and STILL not done. OH, and we ordered all soft close cabinets and drawers to discover Only 1/3 of them are and the very nice service tech #2 says it's different hardware..great. During a global pandemic with children, not only the inconvenience of not having our kitchen done but risking the health and safety of my family as well as total Invasion of privacy that no one there seems to care about. Total lack of communication, follow through and, as others mentioned, just don't care about the customer whatsoever. Don't use them, save yourself the stress. read more

Absolutely horrible customer service. I have been trying to replace one drawer for almost 4 months. Nobody answers, nobody returns phone calls, nobody returns emails, there is literally one phone number that someone may answer one time every three or four weeks. This is one of those, "If I could give zero stars, I would," types of reviews. We reached out to Parrish & Company hoping to find paint to touch up the cabinets, which they installed in our home. After four years, the quarter-round at the bottom is showing lots of wear and tear. My husband called the company and was curtly told by the rep, "I THINK so-and-so is the paint you need, I don't really know." Obviously, we don't want to shell out money on someone's hunch, so he asked if there was someone available who could check company records to tell us something more certain. He was given the number of someone else whom he called and spoke to. This female told my husband, "I don't know who told you that "so-and-so" was the finish you had, but they're wrong." Um...okay, so that's the precise reason he reached out to her. She rudely told him she couldn't find our address on the records, so she doesn't know what to tell us. He asked if she couldn't find us, how does she know the other person was wrong. She couldn't find a logical answer, so she said, "If [we] wanted to risk purchasing a quart of paint in this shade, then we can but it's not on [her] if it's wrong." Stellar customer service, clearly. He asked how much the paint would be. Remember, we only need it for touch ups. She quoted $42...FOR A QUART of paint. FORTY-TWO dollars. Needless to say, between the attempts at price-gouging and the completely rude interaction by not one, but two, of their employees; we have decided to go with a company in Temple. This new company was not only able to find the same cabinet in the one of ONLY THREE finishes they're made in (little research and trial and error go a long way), but also quoted us a more realistic price of $22 dollars a quart. Obviously, Parrish & Company doesn't need the business, so save yourself the frustration. read more

We were looking for a company to service the gas log fireplace in a home we recently purchased. They sent out a technician a week later who was friendly and knowledgeable. He spent a surprising amount of time cleaning and inspecting our fireplace and, when he finished, he explained in detail what he did and how everything works. Now our fireplace lights quickly and we're ready for the winter. read more

The builder for my home contracts Parrish for cabinetry. I closed on my home in early August 2014 and there were a few cabinet touch ups and a few faces of drawers and doors that needed to be replaced. After closing, someone came to do the touch ups and quite frankly did a shoddy job. Even my builder agreed so he had someone he liked better from the company come and redo all the touch ups. It was much better, yet there were still some pieces that needed to be replaced due to deep scratches or cracks. So they went ahead and ordered the pieces. Fast forward to today, more than 1 year later, I think they gave up on coming to put in the pieces that need replacing. It was on and off for a year, delay here, delay there, mis-color here, mis-color there. I've pretty much given up as I don't think they'll ever come back to fix a job that should have been done right in the first place. I have seen these guys work when putting in cabinets and it's just like they don't care or they're in a rush to go somewhere. The cabinetry work in my house was the most disappointing part of my build process. I'm a Realtor in Austin and every time I see a builder using Parrish, I feel bad for the new homeowners if they ever have any issues with the cabinetry because I know what will happen. Of the builders I talked to, they also know and will be phasing out Parrish for a different company in the future. read more

We had Joel, from Parrish and Company, come out to look at our gas log fireplace. We recently bought the home and the fireplace was fairly old.and had some issues. Not to mention we just wanted to have it checked out. To be honest we were a little concerned based on reviews, but there was not a lot of choice for the model we had. I can tell you that I am glad the choice was limited. Our experience was nothing but great. Joel did a great job going over the fireplace that had been neglected and did great work to find the source of the problem. He also gave tips on some things we could do as we. Went in good detail on the status of the components. He also cleaned up things and really just did a great job overall. We have an 11 year old Heat-N-Glo fireplace unit that had never been serviced. I contacted Parrish & Company and they scheduled a technician out to our home for service. Randy, the Service Tech, arrived on time and was very knowledgable about our unit. He quickly disassembled the glass and screen on the unit (front and back), vacuumed out the area around the frame, cleaned the glass, and repositioned the logs as they had shifted slightly since assembly 11 years ago. The most horrible of schedulers and missing their own dates. Apology doesnt cut it if you cant perform on your duties week in week out and keep pushing dates back on your own deliveries. I give them one star for finally completing my kitchen cabinets. 1st go around the measurements were wrong. 2nd go around measurements were still a problem. Then covid came and hardware shipment took long to arrive. When it did they did not order correctly. I was promised different dates on when they would come in. Finally had enough. I had missing handles on cabinet doors for months. I had to contact the manager who also promised they would arrive at a certain time and so when I threatened to go above him to resolve the issue. I finally had someone bring the missing hardware and install them. read more

In short, Parrish & Company has horrible customer service. You should avoid using them at all costs. They will overcharge you for replacement equipment, order the wrong equipment and not reply to refund requests. Here is specifically what happened. Parrish & Company installed cabinets in my house while DR Horton was building it. Two of the countertops has false fronts instead of drawers. I contacted Parrish & Company to purchase drawer kits. From March 20, 2018 to July 9, I traded 18 email messages and 5 phone calls with Ronda, Kent, Angie, and Christie. They were slow to respond to requests to order drawers. Cabinets were initially ordered instead of drawers. The drawers were not available for pickup until late June. When my wife picked up the drawers, there were two extra boxes with unknown contents. I asked Parrish if I could return the unopened / unused boxes for credit but they never replied. The new drawers did not come with instructions so I disassembled an existing drawer to see how it to install it. The new drawers I installed were properly aligned and open / close far more smoothly than ANY of the drawers Parrish installed. The existing drawer was installed with very poor workmanship...the drawer was not level, the false front was installed parallel to the ground / counter but the drawers were roughly 10 degrees off from the false front, the rails were not level or even parallel with each other, wood screws were drilled in at the wrong angles, wood screws were not completely counter-sunk and rubbed against the rails, wood screws had stripped heads, I checked 9 other drawers they installed and all of them had the same issues. read more

Walls out and put in 2 rather long beams. Stopped by their location in San Antonio with kitchen plans for cabinet work. Sounded real interested and said they would call us back in about 3 days with specific pricing information. Three WEEKS later, today, no word from them. After the first week, I resisted calling them as this would be a test of their professional customer service. Needless to say, highly disappointed. BEWARE!! Horrible workmanship, over 1-1/2 years and they still have not fixed anything. My $4000 hood over my stove leaks cold air, because the unit they put in my new house (built 2012) is a unit that hasn't been manufactured since 2008. My $5000 fireplace doesn't work...because they jammed the metal chimney up flush with the spark arresters and the smoke can't escape. So my house (and furniture and clothes) fills with smoke. They lied about why it is installed wrong. They lied about inspecting it. They never call back or put you on their busy schedule. It takes months to hear their excuses and more lies. Pick anyone else, ANY ONE else, besides Parrish. Worse company ever!!! read more

I have not done business with this company; HOWEVER, my experience with this company has been extremely negative. I was rear-ended by a company employee in a company truck, and after getting inconsistent information from the driver, my insurance company concluded they were not insured. In addition, we have been unsuccessful in reclaiming any damages from the company. Disappointed I recently remodeled my kitchen using Woodmont cabinets from Parrish. Parrish was recommended by my contractor and wanted to trust him that he knew we were getting a good deal. I had reviewed this place and thought that even though this place at time had a 2.8 rating thought that I could trust my contractor for getting a good product. This place lived up to its low rating. First of all, the process to get an appointment took a long time to get, this made me feel good like I was getting something special, it wasn't. Once we let our sales person know what we wanted it took about two weeks before we could get a quote. We received the quote and images showing what was going where but when we wanted to make a change we had to wait 1 week for the sales person to make the change. Even if it was a simple as changing the depths of one cabinet it took one week. Our 3 changes took added an extra 3 weeks to our total project. When walking around we stated we wanted cabinets that were not builder grade and that we wanted everything to be "soft close." The sales person with Parrish said, "don't worry everything we sell is soft close." I wanted soft close for the fact that once engaged it shut the drawer for you and holds it against the face. To my surprise, the most used drawer in our kitchen, the trash can, is not soft close. When you close the drawer now it bounces back open about 1/2 inch. I am constantly reshutting the cabinet over and over again. This was also true for the spice rack. But the most used drawer never shuts on the first time. I have asked the sales person to fix this issue based off his "everything we sell is soft close" promise and he replied with "I do my best to cover all the attributes, sometimes little things like this slip through." I was also enticed by my contractor that I would get a 2% discount by purchasing my appliances and cabinets through Parrish. I never saw this either. Maybe that was the contractors cut for bring people to Parrish. I just never saw it. Everything I purchased at Parrish from an appliance side, where I can verify prices was at full retail. Overall, I was disappointed with the cabinets as well. I didn't want builder grade but got it. I think I could have gotten something nicer for less money thorough home depot. Don't let this happen to you. Don't let important things that will matter for the rest of the time you own your kitchen or bathroom "slip through" the salesman's mind where YOU will have to live with it. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. read more

Our custom large pantry and mud-bench cabinets were just completed and we are extremely pleased with the results. Our original cabinets were installed by the builder and Parrish did an excellent job in matching up the wood. Once the initial install was completed some follow-up was required to ensure that everything met our original expectations. Parrish listened to our concerns and implemented the desired changes. While the overall process took a little longer than expected we are very happy with the results. I especially commend the installers, touch-up and follow-up guys - each one was very professional. It seems Parrish & Company caters to builders and apparently could less about individual customers. Drove to their shop last Thursday (01/23) inquiring about a 6 year old cabinet drawer that broke. Was told they would check and contact me the next day - Friday...Here it is Thursday (01/30) of the following week and no contact. Was told by Pacesetters the builder of my home that Parrish supplied the cabinets. Actions speak volumes as to their "Customer Service" policy. Wish I can give negative stars. They are unfortunately used by my current warranty company and were called/emailed to come service a garage door that gets stuck regularly. Needless to say they took a week initially to schedule. Then they show up and supposedly one of the tracks was loose and didn't align the sensor, worked for a day and was back to doing the same thing as before. Called the warranty company again and it took 3 weeks to hear anything back from Parrish. Supposedly their email system was not working, I call bull shit because that was the same excuse they used on a previous reviewer. So they schedule me after 3 weeks and nobody shows up. I wonder if my new email will also be lost. Maybe NSA intersected it and doesn't want my garage door fixed? This is a horrible way to run a company. read more

Our builder uses this company for cabinets. The cabinets are very poor quality, made out of mdf instead of real wood. The laminate ( not stain) peels off and easily chipped. These cabinets should be in trailers, but that's about it I am going to Home Depot or the knot hole to replace my 1.5 year old crappy Parrish cabinets. read more

Buyer beware! This group has horrible customer service and then claim that you must not be getting their emails. They complete vague plans and get a deposit with assurances that they will be fine. However, the design they made was not sufficient to even carry the weight of the counter tops. When you try to adjust the plans even though their are almost 2 months before installation they say NO CHANGES. We have lost more than $1,000 in deposits and now must hire a new cabinet maker. (after having a God awful experience with Home Depot trying to get any sort of customer service or a person who could even remotely talk about Clopay Garage doors). We are in the process of building a home right now and I am sure all of you know the pains of remodel/building/construction. It has been a pretty miserable experience so far and we are counting down to the close date..... WOO-HOO! But the one saving grace has been Jimmy Carter at Parrish & Company. He has provided us with amazing service and makes us feel like he is really working with us toward a common goal. We had Jimmy add extra cabinetry that he designed to our house, and it is literally one of our favorite things in our house! All of the cabinetry he installed in our kitchen, dining, bathrooms and laundry have been fantastic. The quality is amazing and he came up with great recommendations that we didn't even think of. Jimmy is also providing us with a great selection of cabinetry hardware and appliances after close. We did research online and he offered us extremely competitive prices, so we didn't even question using him. He has kept in close contact with us, even if it is to tell us he will get us an answer on X date. Parrish and Company also provided our garage doors which are beautiful and our fireplaces. The Carolina gas fireplace is fantastic and the garage doors are great quality. When we plan to add something new to our house, we won't hesitate to call Parrish & Company. read more

CAUTION, RUN AWAY!!!! This was the worst experience I have had with a so called contractor. I think one star is too many. They failed at every aspect of the project, from design, pricing, delivery, installation, and punch list. They were way late on production and delivery. The quality of cabinets is poor and their installers were a joke. It took them 4 months after moving it to even come close to completing all of the punch list items and they still aren't done. We just gave up and are living with it. It became too much of a hassle to coordinate with. Would not recommend them to anybody a very poor company to work with. read more

Customer service is worse than their products. Something fell off a P&C delivery truck I was driving behind in my neighborhood this morning, and broke the window of my car. Company said they inspected the truck and there was nothing they would do to help me. The glass is less than $200, why wouldn't they just set up an appointment to have that replaced? read more

Bought a fireplace from these guys during a home remodel. They installed the flue incorrectly so that it was capped at the attic rather than running all the way up through the roof. When informed of the error it took another two days for the fix to be scheduled. They totally whiffed on that appointment, leaving my wife home all morning waiting for nothing. Then they show up later that afternoon and don't announce themselves but just climb up on our roof while my wife is home with the baby. Completely indefensible service - and nothing close to an apology from the company. read more

I wish I could give less than one star. I wanted to buy my fireplace directly from Halycon and should have. My contractor pushed for Parrish. I think he got a kick back on my $10,000 fireplace. What a disaster. It broke within a week; they never finished the install, and two months later, my NEW contractor (the old one turned out to be a thief), had to call no less than six times a day to get them to do anything. I started getting involved to try and get help, and had the same experience. HOURS and HOURS for a call back. Terrible customer service. Aggravation. That is what you will get for your $10,000 fireplace. They will swear they wil call you back, but they won't. It is NOT worth it. Find another way. TRUST ME. A terrible experience all round starting in the showroom, shoddy workmanship, heel dragging on making it right, or more accurately, mostly right. The fronts of the cabinets look fine, but it definitely got ragged past that. If this is what you get for this price range, save up a little more for better quality and service. read more

My husband and I were attempting to have a garage door opener installed and what seemed like an easy enough task turned into a very difficult one. I would like to start off by saying our home is a new build and we were told to keep the warranty on our garage door we had to use parrish's service for the opener or the warranty would be voided on the door. After several attempts we finally got an appointment. My husband stayed home to be there when the door was installed and much to our surprise they were a no show. Bad enough, right? Well it gets worse ...our contact at the company never called us that day or the next. It took my husband several tries before finally getting ahold of someone. When he did finally talk to someone he let them know he was not alright with the missed appointment nor was he happy we were paying above market rate for the product we were receiving (we assume it was more because they know you can't go elsewhere without voiding your warranty) The contact seemed to careless about the issues we had and was unprofessional. Needless to say we opted to seek out an alternate provider... I have never written an online review, but felt compelled to warn others. read more

I did an extensive kitchen remodel in an older home last August - I am SO happy with my cabinets! We got the upgraded dovetail joints, and the cabinets came with full extension soft close drawers, which are fantastic. I'm a Realtor and have been through quite a few houses with "custom, all wood cabinetry", but at the end of the day they are plywood, stapled together. I would go with Parrish any day for better quality. Not to mention the affordable price. Yes, one of my cabinets was missing a door and I had to wait two weeks for it to come in from the manufacturer but it didn't affect my remodel in anyway. All in all, very happy! Also - we are currently working on my laundry room remodel, and Sheree has been fabulous! I have not received my cabinetry yet, since we are just about to order it, but Sheree has been working with me for over a month trying to tweak design elements to help make this room the most efficient use of space and my version of a dream laundry room! read more

I just had new cabinets installed by Parrish & Company and they exceeded my expectations. Jimmy Carter helped me through the process and I would highly recommend working with him. The installers arrived bright and early, worked really hard and then cleaned up before they left when the job was done. The price for the cabinets and installation was much less expensive than I found elsewhere. If I have another cabinet project I would definitely go with Parrish again. read more
