Or, you could go to Robnetts, and if you don't immediately see what you need, one of the staff will take you right to it. Have an odd fastener? They have it in stock. They can even tell you exactly what it is before you go looking. My only dig was one time I needed a bolt for some furniture. They had one that fit, but it was a bolt with a hex head that takes a standard wrench rather than flush top that uses an allen wrench. Guess what? My chair still works! Not too long ago I needed an odd light bulb. I wanted to get an LED version. They had exactly what I needed, and I paid less than what I would have paid had I ordered online. Another time I was looking for some oddball light bulbs for a friend. They had the EXACT match, both in halogen and LED. I got the LED. Sweet. Just recently, I needed an odd sized allen wrench. I have so many of them, and I have a few sets. I didn't need a whole set, just one wrench. Eighty-nine cents and two minutes later it was in my pocket and I was on my way with a smile. I went in one day looking for buy a power drill for a project I was working on with some roommates on our new house, and the owner wouldn't let us buy one, but rather told us to borrow his personal one and bring it back "whenever". Their prices are very reasonable if you do go in to buy anything, and if you take personal projects in with you, they will sit down and figure out exactly what you need, take you directly to the part, and even help you install it if you want. No nickel and diming here, even after I moved to Salem, I still drove back here when I needed something. 5/5

After driving all over Salem this afternoon, Salem Tent and Awning, Joanne Fabric and Hancock Fabric, my wife and I went here and got EVERYTHING we needed for me to make some gaiters. Not only did she know what I was talking about, the clerk had great advice and was really knowledgeable about the attributes of the fabric. Great selection, great service, great store!
