We were on I 5 returning to Arizona when a rock flew across the freeway and shattered the driver door window It was a holiday and Davis Glass said it would be about three days before they could replace the window. I explained our situation and the lady on the phone talked to the shop manager. He said to bring the car in at eight the following morning and they would fit us in. This is the "quality" work from Davis Glass that was from replacing my windshield. The bill was $625. (Cash) The other A-puller had same black scrape marks. The bottom water/snow guard that was wrecked went all the way across my cars windshield base. Isn't it pretty? I was assured by the woman in charge how wonderfully they would take care of my car. Well, next time it will be with a dealer. These people destroyed my window base and left permanent black marks for on my interior. read more

We had several windows installed several years ago and had a problem with one of the windows. My wife called at the beginning of summer and explained to the person answering the phone of the problem. The lady mentioned they were pretty well booked due to the nice weather, which we completely understood. After three months of not hearing from them, my wife went in with the receipt and spoke with reception . A few days later, a person came out and explained the manufacturer has a life time warranty and would call them. The person who came out accidentally broke the tab on the screen, once again no big deal. He took it with him and said he will repair it. After not hearing back from Davis Glass for a few days, I called and spoke with a lady about the situation. In all my dealings with assorted company's over forty plus years, the lady I spoke with was the rudest person I have encountered. After a short talk the call ended with her saying she will look into it. Two days later, still no contact and my wife ended up driving there to retrieve our screen. Based on the extreme rudeness of the lady and not taking the initiative to at least phone us for an update on either of our two calls I doubt we will use their company or recommend them to friends. read more

Terrible customer service. Went in today to get a quote to replace a couple pieces of tempered glass for a piece of equipment we have and the secretary had the worst, most condescending attitude I've ever experienced. Won't be doing any future business here. If I could give no stars I would, bitchy people dealing with customers is not a great way to do business. At least put her in the back away from customers. Some of the office staff is short with and rude to customers. Nothing like paying for wares and then getting brushed aside because they already got your money... They don't communicate back orders or delays unless you hound them for the info. That shouldn't be the case. If the item is going to take longer, call the customer and Inform them there's a delay. If the install schedule is backlogged, simply say, it's X number of days/weeks out before we can get to you and apologize for the long wait. Don't talk to the person like they're beneath you because THEY had to take initiative to call you to find out what's going on. And if you're going to tell people that the guy in charge is coming out to do the estimate, perhaps he should work on punctuality a bit. Also, if the appt can't be kept, call BEFORE to let the customer know, not an hour after the time slot given to reschedule/ say you're on your way without an apology. The installers do good work, but the treatment and poor customer service make it a moot point. Hopefully my friend can be treated better by them, but I wouldn't accept being treated that way... My window and door work will find elsewhere to go. read more

After having a window break in our house, my husband and I called around to get a quote and Davis Glass had the best one. The glass installers came to my home, started to prep the window, informed me he needed to go get the glass cut and get another person to help him install the window. They did a great job installing the new glass however, the business office failed to follow through on their original quote. At no point were we informed during the installation that they needed to go with a different type of glass which would bring the cost up more. Naturally when we received the bill, we were quite angry and Davis Glass refused to honor their original quote. For this reason, I will never do business with them again which is a shame because I prefer to support a local business over anything else. But failing to honor their original quote or even communicating to me before installing the glass that I was looking at a different price point, is poor business practice and I refuse to support that. read more
