Or, you could go to Robnetts, and if you don't immediately see what you need, one of the staff will take you right to it. Have an odd fastener? They have it in stock. They can even tell you exactly what it is before you go looking. My only dig was one time I needed a bolt for some furniture. They had one that fit, but it was a bolt with a hex head that takes a standard wrench rather than flush top that uses an allen wrench. Guess what? My chair still works! Not too long ago I needed an odd light bulb. I wanted to get an LED version. They had exactly what I needed, and I paid less than what I would have paid had I ordered online. Another time I was looking for some oddball light bulbs for a friend. They had the EXACT match, both in halogen and LED. I got the LED. Sweet. Just recently, I needed an odd sized allen wrench. I have so many of them, and I have a few sets. I didn't need a whole set, just one wrench. Eighty-nine cents and two minutes later it was in my pocket and I was on my way with a smile. Their prices are very reasonable if you do go in to buy anything, and if you take personal projects in with you, they will sit down and figure out exactly what you need, take you directly to the part, and even help you install it if you want. No nickel and diming here, even after I moved to Salem, I still drove back here when I needed something. 5/5

I completely remodeled my home, right down to the studs, and I found that Lowe's saved me time and offered the quality of products that I needed. Often I would take a higher quantity of something to be sure I had enough, then bring back the unused items to the store. With my Lowe's card, they could look up the return in an instant without my remembering the receipt. Materials are easy to find and the store inventory is well organized. Knowledgeable people could help me in every department. It is not the mess I found at the other big Home products center. I often shopped on the Internet and then went in to pick up my order. Today I went in to get a part for an elderly friends walker that was broken. Finding the hardware department, a Joy offered to help me. I showed her the missing screw on the walker and she quickly realized it took a metric screw, walked to the right shelf and pulled out a screw that was the right one. Then I asked to install it and soon Shane joined us to install the missing screw! I was lucky because I went in on a Saturday just before 6 PM and the three of us fixed my handicapped friends walker in the isle. The store was quiet and Joy and Shane we not busy. Soon Share adjusted the brakes on the walker too! The attitude was that once they understood I was doing a favor for a handicapped senior, we fixed the walker together. I will be back to Lowe's.

Not only did she know what I was talking about, the clerk had great advice and was really knowledgeable about the attributes of the fabric. Great selection, great service, great store!
