My friend and I loved this place. We drove in by accident. We didn't plan on staying for tastings, but we asked a couple who was sitting in front on the tasting room and they recommended we stay for a taste. They were right, we loved the place after a few minutes. The cute quaint area in front of the tasting is so adorable and you can see the rolling hills. I loved their Syrah, I was not a fan of Syrah, but now I am! Loved their Syrah and Rose. They do not sell their wines in stores, so grab some before you leave. read more

A very serene atmosphere to relax and enjoy. Their 2018 Pinot Noir in my opinion is in the top 5 greatest Pinots I have ever had. Nice views of the hills and vineyards. Very quite and relaxing. Enjoy a bottle while sitting outside in the grassy area. read more

I visited Stolo for a wine tasting. It's a beautiful vineyard and the wines are delicious. The only part of the tasting that I did not enjoy was that they did not provide a flight of all the wines and instead walked around and poured for you and often took a long time before the next pour. I would recommend Stolo provide flights of all the wines so people can go at their own pace. read more

We made reservations to come here because it was close to our hotel. We were seated at a table and ordered the Chardonnay that I absolutely loved! We got to see the cure goats while we drank our wine.. they were very friendly here and you can buy or bring your own charcuterie board.. I will come back here on our next visit and buy another bottle of Chardonnay read more

This place is amazing!!! It located just 3 miles from moonstone beach. It is a beautiful property but what makes it so amazing is the staff. They are super friendly and very knowledgeable on the wine. The wine is also great!!! I usually don't like rose wine but theirs is great!!! This is our go to winery when up in Cambria. read more

I was able to make a reservation here, and their covid precautions are awesome. They readily have hand sanitizer available, all of the seating is outside, and all of the tables are spaced far apart from each other. I had a really great time here, and we also opted to get the charcuterie and cheese plate. That was yummy The atmosphere here is so relaxing, and I really liked their rosé and chardonnays. The staff here are really friendly and made great suggestions for where to eat in the area. read more

This was the perfect place in Cambria to have a winery! While up in Cambria during the thanksgiving holiday break, my family wanted to go wine tasting. This property was absolutely beautiful! Went there party of 8. They were not accommodating , and said they were short staff and maybe they can accommodate us. Came back to us at counter and said we would be get served just a splash of wine tasting at a cost of $25 per person. We had to walk out and went down the street to Cambria. No problem had a wonderful wine tasting experience and bought wine and avoided STLO wine since they were too busy to accommodate a party of 8!!!! read more

We visited Stolo on a Saturday for wine tasting. We were seated on the patio with a view of the grassy meadow area which was very nice. The tasting was 4 whites and 2 reds which I wasn't too sure about at first since I'm not really a whites person, but their whites were very good! We ended up buying 3 bottles plus a bottle of the Syrah which is delicious! Don't miss petting the goats, they are adorable! read more

My Pigwolfette and I stopped by for our anniversary and everything was more than swell. Everyone was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. The tasting room was cozy and yes "this Chardonnay came from across the street" (she points at the vineyard out the window) We had fun with the village goat. Stolo Vineyards was on the list for myself to go to the tasting room. The vineyard is a little over a mile down the road and you won't be disappointed! I was able to make a reservation online quickly for the same day. They spent the time seeing how to liked the wines and just giving some different ideas. I was fortunate to taste the Hillside Reserve Pinot Noir and fell in love! Definitely had to get a bottle to bring home. Love visiting this vineyard! This was our second time and 75% of the reason we went back was to see the goats! In all seriousness, this winery is beautiful and there wasn't a single wine we tried that we didn't like. I'm not even a huge Rosé person and we left with 2 bottles of it! The Gewurztraminer and Syrah that we had were our favorites. The staff was very friendly as well. The highlight of our visit was just picking out a glass of our favorite wine and walking the grounds to see the goats, cows, and beautiful vineyards. Will definitely be stopping here again the next time we are in Cambria! read more

Beautiful place to have a wine tasting. Their wines are a bit more dry, with little to no sweetness - I enjoyed the rose and sauvignon blanc but the reds were a bit too tannin forward for me but I don't count that against them because I know wine is such a subjective thing. Staff was super friendly and you can't beat the location - I wanted to sit outside in the beautiful weather in a garden that was dog friendly and that's what I got! :) read more

This is a must visit: Stolo Family Vineyards - #stolofamilyvineyards absolutely delicious Pinot Noir among many others (the Rosé of their Pinot is perfect on a sunny afternoon and very affordable) and you can sit in their beautiful gardens and do tastings, bottles, or BYOB. One year of being a member, I have never seen a service so bad. Their wine selections are good but service is important too. My last visit was not so pleasant. There were empty tables and we did not have reservations. I asked if we can do tasting but she said that only bottle service is available. We were enjoying our wine and saw a few groups came in for tasting. Why I was refused tasting was unbeknownst to me. So I'm giving up and will just give my business elsewhere. read more

NO! May be great wine.. just make sure you do not drink before you go or they might kick you out. Out with friends celebrating a doctorate degree and the short manager was judging us. Not much too drink some of us did not drink. Just be cautious! Crazy disrespectful and not by the way a top end winery. read more

The property is beautiful, kid friendly and the wine is good. They need to invest in some new patio umbrellas for their grass area. We were sat at a table in the grass area in the sun with no umbrella. We asked for an umbrellas as all the other occupied tables had umbrellas and the one that was brought for us was falling apart. It had been taped where it was broken and the tilting function didn't work. The service wasn't great either, super slow. At first the woman attending to us was spending time explaining the wine we were tasting, then after the second taste, she seemed to spend less and less time speaking to us and was super rushed. It also took a long time to get the next taste...we purchased a bottle of white to enjoy for the table and she brought it out in an ice bucket, but did not bring fresh glasses, as our last tasting was red we should have gotten fresh glasses to enjoy the bottle of white we had purchased......but overall it was a good visit. read more

An absolute serene treasure off the side of the road. We were on our way back out from Linn farms when we decided to pull in; a little concerned we had the kids. As in the photo I posted, the kids loved the lush green field with their house dog Kaya providing the entertainment. On our next trip to Cambria, we will be better prepared as this would be a great spot for a quick picnic and a glass. I'm not a wine drinker but the Pinot Noir was very tasty. I was more mystified by the kids playing with the owner's grandkids in the grass, the goats and the trees. Our "adult party" though enjoyed the tasting and picked up some bottles for the road. I wouldn't take the "Family Winery" as in this is Chuck E. Cheese or place to set up a bounce house. Located just minutes from Main Street in downtown Cambria, Parr Collective at Stolo Vineyards can be found 1.5 miles up scenic Santa Rosa Creek Road. The rural grounds are home to a late 19th century dairy barn & farm house, vineyard and tasting lounge.

Established in 2004.

Purchased by Rajat Parr in 2023 we now offer 4 of Raj's labels in the tasting lounge: Stolo, Phelan Farm, Brij and Scythian Wines. All are made on site and primarily organically farmed by us on our Stolo Vineyard and Phelan Farm Vineyards.

Rajat Parr is an Indian-American sommelier turned winemaker who oversaw the Michael Mina restaurant group's wine program before launching his own wineries in Oregon and the Central Coast of California.

Well sine they didn't have one of the wines I wanted and white wine was more limited I asked if I could turn in two chips for two tastings of the same wine. And I did this also so I didn't have to come in and bother them as soon for another pour of the same thing. I was told they don't do that .... But then they did. It just doesn't make sense to me. I also was trying to be nice and I just felt like she was wasn't super friendly. This place has a gorgeous set up outside. They have nice comfy seating or high top tables which overlook the rolling green hills. This time of the year is absolutely beautiful. I can see the warmer months not being as pretty because I'm sure everything turns brown. I also loved watching the animals down below. The scenery was so majestic. I will definitely be back again. This will probably be on my list of "must visits" every time I visit Cambria. There are just certain places you that you always remember and must go back to, and this is one of them for me.

We're wine club members. We only had about half an hour to taste, so we sped through the the tasting menu. This is a nice little tasting room with a bar and sofa, chairs, and table inside, and numerous small tables and chairs outside in a small courtyard that is enclosed on three sides looking out to the street. Black Hand does mostly red varietals, and that's what we tried on this day - Grenache, Tempranillo, Merlot, Cab. Sauv., Petite Verdo, and Sarah. Tom is a great wine maker, and we always enjoy everything he puts in front of us. The prices here are reasonable, and wine club members get 25% off their wine and 35% off on cases. Cost per bottle ranges from about $40-$50. Tastings are free for up to four people if you are member; otherwise, it's $15 per tasting waived with the purchase of two bottles.

i booked with wine wrangler over a month in advance of my trip to paso…read more i had made deposits on multiple wineries and gave them our air bnb address multiple times. i left the bay area very early to be picked up and the "guide" never showed. no call and no show. when we called/emailed and used the chat no one ever got back to us. one person finally emailed us back but no phone call on a friday. do yourself a favor and book with uncorked or take and uber. then your trip wont be ruined like mine.

You check in at the main office downtown, then hop on a tour bus to the ranch property. Our driver was super informative and entertaining along the way. The drive itself felt like part of the experience with bumpy ranch roads, multiple gates, gorgeous scenery, and a real behind the scenes feel of the property. Once you arrive, the staff gets you geared up with all the safety equipment and everyone was incredibly friendly, professional, and great with all ages. After gearing up, you take an old Army style jeep up the mountain and that ride alone was an adventure Super rickety, steep, and fun! We felt very safe the entire time because before every single zip line, the staff carefully checked everyone's safety gear and connections. There are 6 zip lines total and each one is different with spectacular views that change throughout the course. One thing to know is that you should be in reasonably good shape because there are mini hikes between some of the zip lines. There are lots of water stations along the course, which was great, but the experience is definitely active and you do not want to hold up the group. Totally worth it though and such a memorable Central Coast adventure for families, couples, teens, and adventurous kids!
