I have been wanting to try this wine for a while. I always wondered where it was. I go to the small town of Harmony every year on the way to Cambria. I tried to ask someone one time where the tasting room is and they weren't very friendly. But now it is very clearly marked and I was easily able to find it on my own this time. You can tell it's been newly remodeled. My friends and I decided to do the tasting. All of us like white wine only. They have a few selections but of course the one I really wanted to try wasn't available that day. And that was ok. They gave me 6 tokens to give one each time i wanted my next tasting. Well sine they didn't have one of the wines I wanted and white wine was more limited I asked if I could turn in two chips for two tastings of the same wine. And I did this also so I didn't have to come in and bother them as soon for another pour of the same thing. I was told they don't do that .... But then they did. It just doesn't make sense to me. I also was trying to be nice and I just felt like she was wasn't super friendly. This place has a gorgeous set up outside. They have nice comfy seating or high top tables which overlook the rolling green hills. This time of the year is absolutely beautiful. I can see the warmer months not being as pretty because I'm sure everything turns brown. I also loved watching the animals down below. The scenery was so majestic. I will definitely be back again. This will probably be on my list of "must visits" every time I visit Cambria. There are just certain places you that you always remember and must go back to, and this is one of them for me. read more

I normally don't post on Yelp as I am pretty low key on minor issues but I feel this must come to patrons attention. We attended a twighlight concert series on a Friday evening. The staff was great,escorted us to our reserved seating. Concert venue was great, food vendor was great, enjoyed their wines. The main issue we encountered was there was two 70 year old women dancing on the new outdoor pavilion area. The capacity was at approximately 25 people seated at this particular area. People were enjoying their concert and partaking in the festivities and musical band who were enticing the patrons to enjoy themselves and engage in dancing to the groove. A lady who was seated under the covered area got up in an aggressive manner and confronted the two older patrons to stop dancing and go up to the front area near the band and barn type cellar to dance. Weird and out of character. The lady (later determined to be the owner) went inside and complained to the manager about the issue and was visibly upset. She asked him to address the issue to the patrons about dancing on the hillside pavilion floor. Please note the pavilion is designed as an entertainment center for 150 people per chat GTP. Two people dancing which grew to 15 people later danced upon the area and were confronted by the manager to refrain and move forward off of the pavilion to dance in a dirt area in front of the tasting room. Crazy that you can physically walk, talk, eat, drink, and sit in the pavilion area but two 70 year old women can't dance there? If there was any type of structural issues with the pavilion; would it be earthquake safe? Is there a structural issue that is not addressed? I see no Fire Department maximum occupancy of persons signs posted, no dancing permitted signs, or anything to construe that the structure wasn't safe for someone to dance upon. I don't think I will be returning there as the poor respect by the owner to patrons lacks professionalism. The vibe was crushed. I'm sad it ruined the customers day. read more

The Riesling was crisp, with honeysuckle and stone fruit flavors perfect for a warm day. The reds were also great with standout being the Aria Meritage absolutely delicious with its Bourdeux grape variety. The ambiance is laid back and they also have a cute store inside. We stopped by Harmony Cellars on a whim when we needed to kill some time before check in at our hotel. We are so glad we did! It was the perfect way to kick off our weekend. We did a tasting of 6 wines of our choosing for $20. Their servers were very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable about their wine. They have a nice outdoor space and are currently working on a bigger deck. They have different events like live music and a coursed dinner later in the month. If we lived in town, we would definitely come for it! They also have a nice shop with handmade goods. Very cute and will be visiting next time we are on the central coast! read more

My favorite winery! The wines are so flavorful. This is the one winery where I like most of the wines. I usually like just one of two wines that I taste at wineries. 5 out of the 6 tastes were delicious. The patio space to enjoy your wine and snacks is so nice. Great views of the rolling hills that was once a dairy farm. Repertoire is MY FAVORITE wine. Barbera is the second fav. My Dad was married here in Harmony chapel 32 years ago. It has been a while since I have visited. There was a food truck that offered a variety of treats, plus an ice cream truck but that was not open. I visited on a Saturday on a girls weekend trip. After a hike at the Harmony Headlands, my aunt and I stopped at Harmony Cellars for her to pick up her wine club wines, and we took advantage of the gorgeous day and sat outside with the stunning views of the rolling hills and the tiny village of Harmony. We did a wine tasting, and I can honestly say, there wasn't a wine I didn't love or wouldn't drink. The tastings at the time of me writing this review are $20 for 6 wines of your choice, and the tasting fee is applied if you make a $95 wine purchase. The staff and service in the tasting room was excellent. They really try to make your experience memorable. You will also find a few pre-packaged salami's and cheese plates to pair with your tasting. We started with their Rosato Vivo which is a new release, it is a rose of Syrah with notes of Strawberry, guava and peach, the perfect wine for a warm or hot day, and a bottle will only set you back $28. Of course I bought some to bring home. Next up and in the following order we had the 2022 Vibrante another lovely white with apricot, citrus and tropical fruit. The 2022 White Riesling is just perfect. The 2021 Sangiovese is a medium bodied Italian Red with hints of baking spices and ripe red berries. Their 2022 Chardonnay is very nice, but I am not a Chardonnay drinker if it is oaky and I had a bit of oak from this one. But I still drank it and thoroughly enjoyed it. The last one we chose was the Treble, a ruby port style wine with notes of warm caramel and olallieberry. It paired beautifully with a dark chocolate truffle we had brought with us. It would work well with a berry pie too. We had a hard time choosing as there were 15 wines on their tasting list. It was an awesome afternoon of snacks, chocolate and scrumptious wines. I loved it so much, I took Mr. B back the following day where he enjoyed tasting all the reds and I savored another glass of Rosato while sitting outside. read more

We became club members at Harmony Cellars last July and I decided to bring a group here in March to celebrate my husband's birthday. Erin and the tasting room team did an amazing job setting up the patio for our group to enjoy lunch while sipping their wines. We are so glad we found this jewel of a tasting room. Watching the hawks soar overhead added a layer of beauty to the afternoon. The wines paired perfectly with our gourmet sandwiches from Hush Harbor in Atascadero. I chose to stop by this winery while staying in Morro Bay for my 33rd birthday. It's pretty low key with a great view of the hills. I'm not much of a wine drinker, but I've been wanting to get more familiar with it. I sampled 6 different wines for $18 which didn't seem bad at all. This place offered great customer service, great atmosphere and really good wines. I'll definitely return to this place the next time I visit the Morro Bay area. read more

I absolutely love the whole Central Coast winery area, I have for years. Through the years I have seen Harmony grow into a wonderful and beautiful place to visit! Fantastic views, beautiful displays both inside and outside of the winery itself. The whole place has a real homey and comforting feel.... harmonious, if you will. Along with that, the employees are really happy and friendly, ready to help guests learn and experience their amazing wines. I'm partial to reds, and I will always leave with a bottle of their beautiful Petite Sirah as well as any other taste that piques my interest at the time. I've found that all of the wines are rich and high quality. Prices are reasonable for the area and well worth it. Harmony is located just south of Cambria, in the little town of Harmony (of course) at the end of a rustic dirt road. Cute little area to walk around and shop. Very quaint. Such a fantastic way to start an overnight trip to the central coast and visit Morro Bay. Stopping here is worth it! A small little town with a not so gigantic winery with huge flavors and wonderful hospitality. If you have read my previous reviews and know my deal is usually beer. But, I am an equal opportunity beverage drinker and I love wine too. We were able to snag a seat at one the two decks overlooking the hills, cows, squirrels and little town of Harmony. A tasting is $15 which they take off your bill when you make a purchase. You can choose a white, red or mixed tasting. And of course they threw an extra tasting of an excellent Zinfadel called Grandpa. We had a little hummingbird friend that stayed still on nearby branch drying itself out. Very picturesque (minus the tented building next to the outside seating area), but definitely a fun place to photograph. There were cows waaaay on the other hillside, and one cow was standing in a blue kid-sized wading pool. The fog was drifting through the hillside, as well. Harmony is a cute town. Nolan was a great help with getting us set up with out order for a few cases of wine. I had fun trying the different types, and ended up getting three different bottles of my own to take home. It seemed like even the patrons were friendly and conversational. A very good juju place. read more

This could almost be a 2. This was the second time going to this tasting room. But it had been several years since we were there. The wines are okay for the price. The person serving us was okay. They accommodated us having a dog. So, that was nice. Now, this is where they get the low stars. There is no seating inside. So, to sit you must be outside. We were fine with that. I had to sit because of a foot injury. They encouraged us to go outside. Well, the space was in the middle of a renovation and someone was using a gas powered tamper that was very loud. There was no acknowledgment of this and we already started the pour or I would have left. We decided to make the best of it but mid way we saw glass all over the ground where our dog and us were hanging out. A simple sign saying sorry we are renovating with a warning would have been acceptable and perfect. Instead it was a stressful tasting. Yes, wine did help. My husband said something about the glass when we left. The server didn't seem to care. We won't be back. read more
