However, none of the food we've had from them (which is a lot) has been anything worth writing home about. That said, I don't think anything has been bad either. Overall it's a safe place to use for a catered lunch.

From start to finish, my experience with this catering company was nothing short of excellent. Firstly, the communication and planning process with Mitchell was seamless. He helped me taper down my breakfast menu items to fit the number of attendees. I tend to order too much (it is better to have too much than not enough and run out), but he assured me the quantities he suggested for my group size were just the right amount of food. On the event day, the catering team arrived well in advance, set up everything beautifully, and was ready for our starting time right on the dot! The presentation of the food was elegant, showcasing their attention to detail. Communication along the way (the many emails I sent to ask questions) was promptly answered. The food was outstanding, and the catering staff were a delight to work with. Enrique was on time and professional and set it up just the way I requested. His attention to detail, from ensuring dietary restrictions were accommodated to the food place cards identifying each item. I highly recommend THE CATERING COMPANY! They are my number one go-to cater when I need a breakfast or a lunch set up. I like the convenience of checking their calendar online to see if the dates I want are available. They will exceed your expectations and leave your guests raving about the delicious food. Seed IP Law Group loves your catering company!

Wow, is all I can say. Well not really all :) Danilo is the chef that you can trust implicitly…read more I contacted over 10 caterers on yelp (all w/ fantastic reviews) and a few others that were recommended by friends. We were throwing a double 60 year old birthday / 40 year anniversary party for my in-laws (that I absolutely love, so the party had to be fantastic). We skimped on the venue, the rentals, the linens, the centerpieces but splurged on the food and the dj. When I say splurged, keep in mind we are very "thrifty". Amato came up with a fantastic dinner / appetizer menu for a crowd of 90 people (20 kids) and 4 generations. I also prefer fresh non processed food wherever possible and he met my criteria and then some. Here's what he came up with based on my suggestions: Appetizers * Fresh baked focaccia served with prosciutto, arugula and shaved pecorino * Antipasto skewers , selection of cured meats, cheeses and pickled served on a wheat grass tray * Caprese salad crostini Dinner Buffet Style * Mix Greens salad with toasted hazelnut, gorgonzola crumble and pears vinaigrette * Chicken Valdostana, Stuffed organic chicken breasts with sage, fontina cheese and thin sliced ham and * Poached wild salmon, served with Italian Salsa verde Sides * Herbed roasted root vegetables medley * Steamed green beans with cherry tomatoes, terragon and shallots vinaigrette Artisanal Bread rolls EVERYONE kept asking who the caterer was! The swim club venue had the smallest dated kitchen I've seen, but I'm not sure if it was the quality of the fresh ingredients or the caliber of his cooking skills but the salmon and the chicken were absolutely perfect. Like "Barking Frog" perfect (if you're from the seattle area I assume you've heard of them). Even the kids had seconds. Even the fam that will only eat "white food". All of the food was in great condition by the time my husband and I made it through the buffet line (and we were some of the last people). I don't often give reviews unless places are fantastic or horrible, but Amato catering really went over the top. Easy to work with. Made no assumptions, but didn't bug us at all. Concise communication with just the right listening skills and understanding. I will be calling Amato again for any of our catering needs and recommending them to anyone that will listen. We are interested in his cooking travels as well, if it might teach us to cook even close to how Danilo does!!!!

I liked that Danilo offered a suggested menu that I could add and subtract from. We had an evening event and the food arrived on-time. However, there was no warming trays. Nothing to keep the hot dishes warm, let alone hot. By the time the guests arrived, mingled and we started to eat - everything was cold. We did an assortment of heavy appetizers and there was no labels or menu provided so my guests would have had no idea what they were eating, whether the dish contained meat or not. So I had to scramble and send the menu to the venue, have them print and then cut apart and tape in front of each dish. Part of what I paid for was setup and tear down...only there was no tear down as everything was served in disposable trays. Overall, I was disappointed in the service at this price point.

The food tastes delicious but coordinating with their team was very stressful and unnecessarily so. Jade, their lead coordinator was extremely responsive, calling us every few days to check in with us when we're deciding on a catering company. As soon as we made our deposit she became impossible to reach and non responsive. I couldn't get confirmation of allergies and menus ingredients until less than a week before the wedding, making it a rush to print and have menus ready for the day of even though we had chosen a menu weeks before. My wedding planner and I had been reaching out for weeks previously to get an updated contract with updated head count from Jade but we didn't receive and updated contract until just days before the wedding day after finally getting a hold of Michelle their lead ops. On the day of. We booked Navi to help with table and chair set up and take down. I don't know if they helped set up as I was getting ready, but the left early and didn't take down tables or chairs, so I don't know know what we paid for. We asked for our salads to be pre-plated. They ran out of salads and 5 of our guests had to wait a very long time for food and didn't get any greens in their salad. We also booked bartending services. They promised they would work with us to come up with signature drinks, but no one ever reached out to us to workshop a drink. Instead had to send them a cocktail recipe and on the day of we realized they don't have any knowledgeable bartenders. We could have premixed the drinks ourselves and had them poured from a dispenser as that what we paid their bartender rate of $45/hr for. Navi said they were familiar working with Cort rentals. It's the company they said that they typically rent plates and silverware from but as part of their responsibilities they didn't sort or scrape the food off the silverware when it's a clearly labeled ask from Cort rentals right in the box you return them in. We were also told they they would pack left overs for us but none of our guests or us had received any left overs even though there were plenty. I was really disappointed in their professionalism. Food was delicious but coordination made working with them a major headache as a bride. If you do book with them. Do you best to work with Michelle or directly with chef Navi because if you don't have either of their eyes on things you might as well be coordinating with yourself.

They have little spoons there so you are welcome to try it before and I tried it, felt the kick, and had to have it! The flavor is really good, somewhat roasted, definitely packed with seeds that add the heat, but it's calmed down with mango bits and tons of subtle mango flavor. I love it and would like to gift some to my spice obsessed sister, but this one is all for my house! As I was checking out I spotted a masala chai. I'm so glad I tried it! Perfect chai flavor, not overpowered with too much spices, steeped to the perfect blend, and not overly sugary but a sweet treat along my savory food options I had gotten. If Navi's is back at the market I surely will be too!
