I brought my iPhone 12 Pro in to have the back glass replaced (badly cracked each time, yeah I suck) and to have a new battery installed. Every single guy I've interacted with has been awesome. They are very friendly, work quickly, care about the customers and are VERY accommodating. HOW accommodating you might ask? Well I brought my phone in yesterday to have the back glass and battery replaced. They were able to fix the back glass no problem but did not have the battery at the north park location so they asked to come in tomorrow. I mentioned that I wouldn't make it by closing because of my work commute. Well that didn't deter them from being awesome at all. Not only did Miguel, from the downtown shop, bring the battery up from his store, but he showed up at the north park location 30 minutes after closing AND replaced the battery for me. I choose to support local businesses and I am MORE than happy to spend some time writing up a review (here and on google) for great people behind a great local small business. I decided to move forward with them, and the drop-off process was quick and easy. Alex explained the timeline clearly and even asked if I wanted to add a tempered glass protector. The next day, I was able to cancel the protector I had ordered online and called them back. Although they didn't answer right away, Luis returned my call within 20 minutes and was just as professional. He even offered me a further discount on the screen protector. I called every company in South San Diego and Chance was the first to return my call. No more than 2 hours later and he's at my house repairing the phone, and at a super affordable rate! I honesty feel like I saved money with this company. Look at the phone after the repair, and you wouldn't know it was damaged before. Said "$35 if we could take it out". $35 for a stripped screw. I respected it regardless and said ok. 45 minutes later told me they couldn't and then showed me an even worse screw. First of all, the technician of the shop didn't talk to me then. It was another employee who couldn't tell much about the result, besides that they couldn't. I had to ask for the tech, and then when he came out, he didn't tell me anything besides that "he tried" and ignored me, looking at his TV or something. I walked away and he sarcastically told me to "have a good day" afterwards. I came back after looking at the device and seeing how badly they messed it up. Told me that they worked for "free" and that I was "bitching" and told me to "get the fuck out of here". Firstly, why would you pay anyone for a failed repair, much less one that made more damage? I understand that he worked for the device to be fixed, but now I have no way to repair this device because of the damage that the technician made. I wanted a fair shake, but instead he cursed me out. I would rate it lower if I could!!
