My husband and I were trying to find a place open past midnight for a quick bite and drink since our schedules have changed... started looking on Yelp and found that Parma Tavern stays open until 2 am so we gave it a try! When we arrived, you can tell this is a "regulars" bar. Very cozy, and very friendly staff too. They had karaoke going on as well. Karaoke was actually really fun. Everyone who sang that night could really sing! The atmosphere was really fun because of it. To start off we ordered a couple of beers and Vegas Bombs. I've had better and cheaper Vegas bombs at other bars but it was only ok here. They have a late night menu that only serves pizza which I was okay with since that is what I was craving. I ordered the "Eat your veggies" pizza which had garlic oil, pesto, spinach, cremini mushrooms, eggplant, sun-dried tomato, red onion, roasted red pepper, and fresh mozzarella. My husband ordered the "Magic Mushroom" pizza which had garlic oil, ricotta-mascarpone, cremini mushrooms, shiitake mushrooms, spinach, red onion, and fresh mozzarella The pizzas were truly incredible. Drive around Mall of GA area restaurants facing the hour wait everywhere. Decided to stop at Parma- we'd been there for a great brunch and figured it's worth the wait at least (compared to the chains.) Got quoted 25 min and we were in and seated within 10. Yes! Service from hostess to waitress was outstanding tonight. Had a tasty GA Peach Mule- their drinks are awesome here! Smooth! Delicious! Appetizer: potachos- these were HOMEMADE potato chips smothered in a creamy cheese sauce. Delicious isn't strong enough a word. We devoured this. Dinner: Alfredo with chicken and a shrimp salad. The chicken was shaved and well seasoned. The breadstick with the Alfredo was very fresh. They have great dessert but we were so full. Already planning our next trip. read more

Adding to my previous raving reviews of Parma, I wanted to thank Parma and their staff for the great times they have given me and my mother these last three years. We were lucky to find this place a few years ago and as my aging mother was not progressing well she always wanted to come here for food and she loved being recognized , She loved the food, especially the calamari , pizza, and a good cocktail and they always accommodated me with her in a wheelchair and allowed me to take her to the bathroom for assistance without any politics or odd looks as I'm wheeling her into a bathroom to help her in the women's room. I moved her out of assisted-living in Dacula this past March as I was not going to let her stay any longer locked up which is where she moved to when we found this gem of a place and heading there now to give them a toast for the great food, service, caring staff who always helped me with her and saw us coming and would have our table ready, and hold the doors open and welcome us by name. She passed away a few weeks ago and as she was beginning to be unable to eat I did manage to make a couple of trips to pick her up some calamari or a chicken club or her favorite mushroom Pizza which were some of the last meals she had. She was a definite foodie so thank you Parma for making her final days pleasant and tasty! I've already brought all my kids , brothers and grandkids to Parma and they will always have a place in my life. You don't know how much your support meant to me and her. Parma: woah! This place was awesome. What was so awesome you ask? We'll, everything. Staying in a nearby hotel, my colleague and I were referred here by the front desk. Upon entering, we were met by the friendliest staff, and a bustling tavern of happy people. I had a Paloma followed by a local lager. Both were tasty. We shared the eggplant chips, which were bomb.com! I had a pizza, and my colleague a chicken parm sammy. Both items were so good! The vibe was rocking too, a lot of fans enjoying the place! The manager stopped by our table during the experience to check in which was nice, and something lost in todays restaurant world. Our server Jordyn was AMAZING! Review based off of Uber Eats delivery. Grabbed 3 different pies and some wings from Parma and was impressed. Pies had good toppings, nice thin crust (not crispy tho so if that's your thing be prepared to be disappointed) good quality ingredients. The chicken on this pizza was super flavorful, tender, and juicy! The "spring breaker" cocktail was great, too! It was a very clean restaurant where you could see into the kitchen as they were making your food. Great service! Highly recommend. We are new to this area and we have been eating at mostly Korean restaurant (due to its abundance here) and my kids wanted something different. Because of to its name, I thought it was a bar when I first saw it while visiting Danji(next door Korean chicken and street-food), but with the help of Yelp, I found that it was family friendly. They had kids menu! My kids got a cheese and pep pizza and enjoyed their crispy crust. Its fire oven pizza so the crust os crispy and not the normal American pizza. One of the kids have NUT ALLERGIES and the server informed us that the only nut they use is pine nut and she said she will inform the kitchen. We had no reactions! The mushroom pizza was yummy, but I felt that the dough could use some salt. As the toppings had mild flavors, the dough could definitely used a little more salt. I had to top it with lots of parm cheese to give it a lil more taste. My husband liked its blandness as he said its bland enough that he could eat a lot of it. Calamari was tender and good but it was definitely not with $12. I would say perhaps $10 would have been more appropriate for what we were getting. We will visit to try their pasta dish when we are tired of eating Korean food again. Btw, the server was very attentive and extremely helpful! Great service makes us want to return! This place came up in my google recommendations while I was trying to find something to eat in the area. I place a pickup order. I ordered the fettuccine Alfredo with grilled chicken & fried calamari. The calamari was fresh but lacked any type of seasoning in the batter. The marinara dipping sauce was bland. The Alfredo pasta noodles tasted undercooked. The sauce didn't even taste like Alfredo. The grilled chicken had no type of flavor. I highly doubt I will try this place again. PARTIES OF 8 OR MORE EAT SOMEWHERE ELSE!! We made reservations for two tables of 10 people. Our very nice waiter named Turner was great, his manager however was not. We asked before ordering if the check could be split, we were told yes. When the check arrived the manager told us the check cannot be split and all cards will be charged an equal amount. He also said it says this policy on the menu (it doesn't). So if 8 of us put down a credit card, the bill is split 8 ways, no matter what you ordered. He said their system can't handle this, but a table of 6 can have their bill split? Obviously he just didn't want to do it. And the PIZZA ! Hands down the BEST PIZZA I'VE HAD since moving to GA from the west coast. Each time I've come I ordered the veggie pizza + pepperoni and both times bomb!! Today we also ordered the calamari and the wings. Best calamari I've had in forever and the wings were in point too! AJ was our waiter and he was great! I had a pizza tonight you cant go wrong with a side Mista salad loaded Edith fresh Tomato and Olives very good . Pizza wood fired always a tough decision as to what to get . I had a great server named Corbin he was very knowledgeable of menu this is the 3rd server from this establishment that has know all about the menu . In continuing my search for a good pizza in the north side of Georgia, my wife and I had a chance to meet our good friends Paul and Anni for a nice lunch along with my little buddy Augustus! @parmatavern always gets PACKED so we decided to get there right as they opened up at 11AM. For how small the place is they do a good job at making room for plenty of tables without it feeling cramped up. Service was spectacular and all our food came out fairly quickly (my pizza made it out last). I ordered their 8inch small personal Margherita pizza (tomato sauce, mozzarella, oregano, thyme, olive oil, basil) and I think I learned something new about pizzas... don't order smaller personal sized pizzas! It's harder for me to judge and not fair to compare to other full sized pizzas, HOWEVER... this pizza was tasty and delicious. The crust isn't ultra thin so if you prefer pizzas that aren't ultra thin, this is a good spot for you to try. Their mc&cheese is probably a good 7/10 for me, which surprised me because it's hard to find good mc&cheese these days. I would rate it better IF it had more cheese flavor and if it was a bit more creamy, this sauce was a little more on the soft side. That being said, it was still delicious and had a LOT of chicken. Last but not least... garlic knots!!! I love the way these are twisted and fried to perfection, definitely happy with them. My friend @yellowplates saw that they had a DONUT BURGER and decided to go for it I've had a hard time finding a donut burger I liked so I was curious to see what she thought. She didn't seem impressed either because the sweetness of the donut AND BBQ sauce were just too much to where it overpowered the cheese, bacon, and burger patty. Decent amount of parking available by the resultant, but it does get busy during peak hours. Most staff didn't wear masks and there mmmmm no social distancing. Calamari: fresh, hot and crispy! It's not the typically calamari I have had...it's a bigger chunk of calamari than the typical small more breading ones. Love the tartare sauce. Meatatarian pizza: nice and hot fresh out of the oven. It is more thin, which I like. But the meat was a bit overwhelming for me, after the first piece it was too salty. Mahi tacos: love it! The sauce was amazing and the mahi tasted great. Side Cesar salad: very standard but paired with balsamic vinaigrette. More acidic and compliments the pizza nicely. Overall love the vibe, the food was great (would opt for a different pizza next time), service was good, and well priced alcohol. Can't beat $2 house draft! The cheese pizza was also very good. It was thin crust and crispy. I thought the crust was good even though I usually don't care for crust. We tried the krispy kreme burger just for the novelty of it. We shared it among a group so it was interesting to try but I don't think I can actually eat the whole thing. It is a hamburger patty, bacon and cheese sandwiched between two donuts. It is an interesting mix of sweet and savory flavors. It comes with a side. We got fries and they were good. We went on a weekday afternoon so it was pretty quiet when we got there. They have hightop tables and booths and TVs throughout so its a good spot for watching games.
