Fantastic flavors in the toppings, the sauce, and even the dough. The quality ingredients were a delicious synergy. I'm so glad that my wife and I ordered the big 14 inch versions, so that we could enjoy the leftovers. And reheated in an air fryer it was a tasty Deja Vu. Our pies were the Buford Drive and the Meatarian. Service was also attentive and we never lacked for drink refills. They checked in on us to ensure that everything was good and any needs met. The stone floors and wood accents make for a stylish experience that was still casual. Seating included booths and long family/group tables.
Good food. Generous portions whether select pizza or pasta. Appetizers good for family style dining. The mozzarella 'rounds' were very good. I was not as impressed with the brussel sprouts. They were larger than others I have eaten, and appreciated that. The underwhelming part was the small amount of sauce that covered them. An adequate amount to cover the dish's contents would have garnished an additional star. With a large part, it would have been conducive to assign multiple servers. Our server was nice, but appeared to be overwhelmed at times. She was sweet and did check on our group multiple times. My selection of Spaghetti Bosco was a solid one. The hand made spaghetti truly had a 'garden' feel with ample mushrooms, spinach, basil and sun dried tomatoes amongst other delicious ingredients. The roasted chicken was prominent and had good flavor. The delicious wedge of bread that came with my meal was not necessary, but highly appreciated! My co-workers gluten free meat filled pizza smelled amazing and was large enough to share and have leftovers. She had selected the restaurant for our dinner and frequented often. Our group sat at several connected tables near the kitchen area. The entrance had a sports bar feel with hi-boy tables and televisions featuring various games. Security was present and provided assurance that customer safety is paramount. The parking lot was well lit and offered adequate spaces in front and the rear of Parma and surrounding businesses. Various size groups and what appeared to be some regulars were peppered throughout the establishment. Would definitely return to sample the build your own pizza the next time I'm in the area.
Parma Tavern is such a great neighborhood spot! The atmosphere is warm, welcoming, and has that perfect mix of casual and elevated. The food is consistently delicious, the drinks are great, and there's always a fun energy without feeling overly crowded or pretentious. Whether you're stopping in for a casual dinner, grabbing drinks with friends, or looking for a place to hang out on the weekend, Parma Tavern is a great choice. The staff is friendly and attentive, and you can tell they really care about creating a great experience. Definitely a local favorite and a spot I'll keep coming back to!
Another great experience at the Parma Tavern... the French Dip sandwich was delicious, the server was personable and attentive. Parma has quickly become my favorite place in the Mall of Georgia area. It's perfect for having conversation over a wonderful meal.
Visited Parma Tavern with some family after a day sightseeing in the area. It's a favorite of theirs so we didn't really plan to come visit. Service and all the staff we encountered were all wonderful! The food was pretty decent as well. The pizzas were definitely our favorite! The size and topping options were perfect. They also had amazing french fries! The cannolli's were also a hit! 10/10 recommend a stop in!
It's more of a bar/pub feel, but the food is excellent! I've tried two of their unique pizzas (both excellent!) and my husband has gotten the Alfredo each time. We love the crispy Brussels, mozzarella sticks, and garlic knots as well! The service is better than I thought it would be for a pub kind of place! We love coming here, but it's a smaller place so probably not ideal for parties of more than about 5-6.
Absolutely amazing! Came in with my family after a trip to the mall and thoroughly enjoyed my experience. Our server was attentive! It was slightly crowded inside, but after eating there I can understand why!! The lights were dim inside, creating an ambiance that I enjoyed. We ordered drinks, pizzas for the table and wings. The wings were absolutely fire! The ranch and blue cheese are made from scratch and the flavor profile is soooo yummy! The pizzas were great as well. I normally prefer saucier pizzas, but these were amazing.
Parma has become one of my wife and I's favorite spots. The atmosphere is always welcoming, relaxed, and lowkey, and the service is consistently attentive without being overbearing. We come here at least twice a month, especially when the new monthly specials drop. This visit, I had the Italian Herb Chicken with Alfredo and penne along with the Parmissimo sandwich, and both were fantastic. The chicken was packed with flavor, the Alfredo was rich without being too heavy, and the sandwich was ridiculously good. My wife also got a dirty martini from the bar that she's still talking about. But the biggest standout was easily the churro cannoli. Parma seriously needs to make that a permanent menu item because it was unreal. Between the food, atmosphere, and consistency, this place just doesn't miss.
Came here with the family and my dad for dinner and it was pretty decent. The atmosphere was definitely more bar like and casual than family oriented but the food was surprisingly tasty. The server was nice and the service wasn't bad either. None of the food we ordered was incorrect and I think she only forgot one thing (an extra side of marinara but it was no big deal!) overall if I'm back in Georgia I would visit again and maybe try their drinks because everything was priced moderately.
Really good italian cuisine! The hostess/server were both so kind and the server took his time to explain where they source their ingredients from (italy) and that they bake their pizzas in the traditional ovens. The Buford Drive pizza was so worth it and I highly recommend it. I give the pizza a 9/10! The crust was crunchy and well flavored and the toppings were amazing. The Tequila Lime Chicken pasta I was really excited for because I've never tried something with that flavor, but was slightly disappointed. It's not as flavorful as expected and was a little boring personality wise. However, overall the food was good and I got full off of it so I had a positive experience. I was craving wood-fired pizza and came across Parma in my Yelp search. We stopped in after church and discovered they were offering a brunch menu along with their regular menu. We selected the brunch biscuits and homemade jams for our appetizer and chose entrees from the regular menu. The eggnog cocktail with rum was very tasty and it was a perfect way to begin the holiday season. I couldn't choose between the Buford Drive and Magic Mushroom and I they don't allow you to order the pizza 1/2 & 1/2 if it does not have the same sauce/base; so I opted to get a small of each. Hubby was craving lasagna and said it really hit the spot - delicious . Our server was friendly and provided us with great suggestions when we asked about menu items. Our first and only visit to Parma Tavern was a great experience! However, the very reason for our visit was at the recommendation of a friend who raved over their calamari. Calamari is a menu item that is practically irresistible to me if on the menu, and we made a special trip here just to try it. Sadly, they had run out and my wife was too hungry to allow me to go someplace else. HANGRY is a real condition people! Recognizing it can save so many lives! Good thing though, because we enjoyed what we did order. Our server was a bubbly Kennesaw State student who was very attentive to us during our entire visit. The restaurant was larger inside that it appeared outside and the vibe was fun and inviting. A place that you can hang out with friends, family or your smokin' hot wife of 26 years! THE FOOD We ordered the SPINACH & ARTICHOKE FONDUE and CRISPY BRUSSELS SPROUTS appetizers, EAT YOUR VEGGIES 8" Pizza and the FETTUCCINE ALFREDO with Shrimp & Italian Sausage added. My wife loved the pizza, which in itself is a miracle because she can be very particular about crust and flavor of toppings. We both loved the fondue, but wished it wasn't so oily and I really enjoyed the Alfredo (although I wished it was a little richer and creamier). My wife also liked the Brussels Sprouts but I thought they were just okay. I've had some amazing sprouts at other restaurants like The Feed in Chattanooga that included ham, bacon and maple syrup and now I'm ruined for life. FINAL THOUGHTS Parma Tavern will definitely be added to our regular rotation of restaurants in the Mall of Georgia area. I'm always please with any restaurant that satisfies both my carnivorous nature and my wife's selective veggie-loving appetite. Bravo Parma, bravo! But please have calamari on my next visit :-) ----- UPDATE: Gave PARMA TAVERN a second visit a few days later and order the CALAMARI + an 8" Meatlover's Pizza (which was absolutely delicious). I was super disappointed. We were both starving after the workout and decided to check out Parma. It's a typical tavern atmosphere, super casual, dim lighting with typical tavern food like pizza, burgers, pasta and beer. The booth we sat in was not really all that comfortable. We both ordered the Italian tacos, which was chicken, cheese, and cherry tomatoes. I also ordered the Boom Boom tacos which was supposed to taste like bang bang shrimp. They were heavily breaded, and just didn't have much pizazz. The Italian tacos were even worse. I ordered a chipotle sauce, but they still tasted so bland. My boyfriend said the same thing. I can't believe that chicken is marinated, because it literally tasted like it had no seasoning whatsoever. I don't understand why the high ratings here, or if we just ordered the wrong thing, but it was definitely a miss for the both of us. read more

This is like my local spot. I hated to do it but I needed delivery. And since I love this place, of course I'll pay the extra fees for it. I always dine in and its amazing. Im just guessing cause I used a delivery service, they said f you. 18$ for a small piece of salmon and fake crab sprinkles. Reuben egg rolls with NO corned beef I mean none. I ate Sauerkraut in a wrap. Awful! I paid a lot for this and I get delivery is now frowned apon. But im a loyal customer and I paid way too much for fake crab and Sauerkraut egg rolls. Honestly I would have asked for my money back. Very disappointed and out a lot of money. read more

My husband and I were trying to find a place open past midnight for a quick bite and drink since our schedules have changed... started looking on Yelp and found that Parma Tavern stays open until 2 am so we gave it a try! When we arrived, you can tell this is a "regulars" bar. Very cozy, and very friendly staff too. They had karaoke going on as well. Karaoke was actually really fun. Everyone who sang that night could really sing! The atmosphere was really fun because of it. To start off we ordered a couple of beers and Vegas Bombs. I've had better and cheaper Vegas bombs at other bars but it was only ok here. They have a late night menu that only serves pizza which I was okay with since that is what I was craving. I ordered the "Eat your veggies" pizza which had garlic oil, pesto, spinach, cremini mushrooms, eggplant, sun-dried tomato, red onion, roasted red pepper, and fresh mozzarella. My husband ordered the "Magic Mushroom" pizza which had garlic oil, ricotta-mascarpone, cremini mushrooms, shiitake mushrooms, spinach, red onion, and fresh mozzarella The pizzas were truly incredible. Like really, nothing to envy those expensive pizza places in the city. We also tried their Oreo cheesecake and it was okay. In general, the atmosphere was great, server + bartenders were super attentive and fast, stays open late plus really good pizza. Would totally come back here! Parma Tavern: Surely when I saw the tiny tiny container, I was shocked that the Parma's JULY MONTH SPECIAL Banana Pudding, priced $8, that it would be enough to feed two people. I paid almost $10 for one very tiny tiny kids container of banana pudding barely able feed one person!!!! Guess what. Not going to order desserts from you again. I am better off buying the Patti Labelle Banana Pudding at Walmart for $10 - which I haven't tried yet - since there would be more to share. I didn't even get a bite of dessert! This is worse than the two tiny cannolis you serve. The lasagna and mista side salad are still good though. read more
Drive around Mall of GA area restaurants facing the hour wait everywhere. Decided to stop at Parma- we'd been there for a great brunch and figured it's worth the wait at least (compared to the chains.) Got quoted 25 min and we were in and seated within 10. Yes! Service from hostess to waitress was outstanding tonight. Had a tasty GA Peach Mule- their drinks are awesome here! Smooth! Delicious! Appetizer: potachos- these were HOMEMADE potato chips smothered in a creamy cheese sauce. Delicious isn't strong enough a word. We devoured this. Dinner: Alfredo with chicken and a shrimp salad. The chicken was shaved and well seasoned. The breadstick with the Alfredo was very fresh. They have great dessert but we were so full. Already planning our next trip. read more

Adding to my previous raving reviews of Parma, I wanted to thank Parma and their staff for the great times they have given me and my mother these last three years. We were lucky to find this place a few years ago and as my aging mother was not progressing well she always wanted to come here for food and she loved being recognized , She loved the food, especially the calamari , pizza, and a good cocktail and they always accommodated me with her in a wheelchair and allowed me to take her to the bathroom for assistance without any politics or odd looks as I'm wheeling her into a bathroom to help her in the women's room. I moved her out of assisted-living in Dacula this past March as I was not going to let her stay any longer locked up which is where she moved to when we found this gem of a place and heading there now to give them a toast for the great food, service, caring staff who always helped me with her and saw us coming and would have our table ready, and hold the doors open and welcome us by name. She passed away a few weeks ago and as she was beginning to be unable to eat I did manage to make a couple of trips to pick her up some calamari or a chicken club or her favorite mushroom Pizza which were some of the last meals she had. She was a definite foodie so thank you Parma for making her final days pleasant and tasty! I've already brought all my kids , brothers and grandkids to Parma and they will always have a place in my life. You don't know how much your support meant to me and her. The friendly neighborhood pub. Highly recommend !!! read more

Such wonderful experience- the food and service were both perfect. The restaurant seemed family friendly but also perfect for a date night. One of the best burgers I've had in Buford. The sweetness of the caramel onions and the donut matched perfectly the black angus and the smoked bacon. Highly recommend. Scofflaw IPA to pair the order and a side of fries. Marvelous. Friendly stuff and nice ambiance. read more

Absolutely disgusting The pizza here is the worst pizza I have ever eaten. The sauce isn't red, it's orange. It tasted like they put cream in it. It was awful. The pizza was completely soggy and paper thin. The employees were nice. read more

We had a party of 11. We advised we would be happy to be split up in the very beginning. In the back there are 2 eight tops. One empties after 45 minutes and they seat 8 of us while the other 3 are waiting ( they are waiting on the other eight top to leave. In the mean times there is a booth available. I ask if we ( the last 3 can sit there) hostess and then manager say no. They want us to wait for the other 8top to leave so 3 people can sit there. Did I mention we had been waiting 50 minutes? Stupid manager of the year goes to William. On a good note AJ was a great server. 7 of us stayed and 4 left. The kids were starving. read more

This was my second time at Parma. We had a reservation for 8 on a Friday night. Our waitress was so sweet and incredibly helpful with all of us! We all ordered different drinks and different appetizers. My drink was the Ba Humbag with whiskey and pomegranate, 10/10 on that I had two! The calamari and fried eggplant chips were the winners in appetizers. I love the environment here. I will definitely be returning to try more things. read more

This place can be a hit or miss. Today I decided to dine in. I asked for my burger medium well and it was well done. My Maytag burger tasted very dry. The bread was hard. My boyfriend had the special the "pickle burger" and that tasted pretty good. read more

Visited here this past weekend on a whim and it did not disappoint. Pizza was amazing! The crust... wow! I could eat that by itself! BBQ sauce wasn't too sweet. The chicken on this pizza was super flavorful, tender, and juicy! The "spring breaker" cocktail was great, too! It was a very clean restaurant where you could see into the kitchen as they were making your food. Great service! Highly recommend. If I didn't live so far away, I'd frequent this restaurant often! read more
We are new to this area and we have been eating at mostly Korean restaurant (due to its abundance here) and my kids wanted something different. Because of to its name, I thought it was a bar when I first saw it while visiting Danji(next door Korean chicken and street-food), but with the help of Yelp, I found that it was family friendly. They had kids menu! My kids got a cheese and pep pizza and enjoyed their crispy crust. Its fire oven pizza so the crust os crispy and not the normal American pizza. One of the kids have NUT ALLERGIES and the server informed us that the only nut they use is pine nut and she said she will inform the kitchen. We had no reactions! The mushroom pizza was yummy, but I felt that the dough could use some salt. As the toppings had mild flavors, the dough could definitely used a little more salt. I had to top it with lots of parm cheese to give it a lil more taste. My husband liked its blandness as he said its bland enough that he could eat a lot of it. Calamari was tender and good but it was definitely not with $12. I would say perhaps $10 would have been more appropriate for what we were getting. We will visit to try their pasta dish when we are tired of eating Korean food again. Btw, the server was very attentive and extremely helpful! Great service makes us want to return! This place has excellent food and outstanding service! I've been here twice now, discovered via Yelp when I had a pizza and tequila craving. And everything I've ordered thus far has been delish! And the PIZZA ! Hands down the BEST PIZZA I'VE HAD since moving to GA from the west coast. Each time I've come I ordered the veggie pizza + pepperoni and both times bomb!! Today we also ordered the calamari and the wings. Best calamari I've had in forever and the wings were in point too! AJ was our waiter and he was great! This is definitely my new favorite pizza spot and I can't even imagine ordering pizza from somewhere else. There must be something unique about their wood fire oven. Stopped into Parma Tavern again while visiting Buford . What a great restaurant with a fresh take on menu dishes . I had a pizza tonight you cant go wrong with a side Mista salad loaded Edith fresh Tomato and Olives very good . Pizza wood fired always a tough decision as to what to get . I had a great server named Corbin he was very knowledgeable of menu this is the 3rd server from this establishment that has know all about the menu . I see it as a sign that they enjoy working here and who they work for I highly recommend trying Parma you will enjoy the great food and portions. Keep up the good work Parma . read more

In continuing my search for a good pizza in the north side of Georgia, my wife and I had a chance to meet our good friends Paul and Anni for a nice lunch along with my little buddy Augustus! @parmatavern always gets PACKED so we decided to get there right as they opened up at 11AM. For how small the place is they do a good job at making room for plenty of tables without it feeling cramped up. Service was spectacular and all our food came out fairly quickly (my pizza made it out last). I ordered their 8inch small personal Margherita pizza (tomato sauce, mozzarella, oregano, thyme, olive oil, basil) and I think I learned something new about pizzas... don't order smaller personal sized pizzas! It's harder for me to judge and not fair to compare to other full sized pizzas, HOWEVER... this pizza was tasty and delicious. The crust isn't ultra thin so if you prefer pizzas that aren't ultra thin, this is a good spot for you to try. Their mc&cheese is probably a good 7/10 for me, which surprised me because it's hard to find good mc&cheese these days. I would rate it better IF it had more cheese flavor and if it was a bit more creamy, this sauce was a little more on the soft side. That being said, it was still delicious and had a LOT of chicken. Last but not least... garlic knots!!! I love the way these are twisted and fried to perfection, definitely happy with them. My friend @yellowplates saw that they had a DONUT BURGER and decided to go for it I've had a hard time finding a donut burger I liked so I was curious to see what she thought. She didn't seem impressed either because the sweetness of the donut AND BBQ sauce were just too much to where it overpowered the cheese, bacon, and burger patty. Maybe without the BBQ sauce it'd be better? Just too much. Tasty food, fun menu, good service.... Potchos- were ok, lacked a bit of flavor I was expecting loaded potatoes but bar style & on chips BBQ Chicken Pizza - chicken could use more seasoning or salt/pepper Pepperoni Pizza - sadly this fell apart once we sliced it, maybe too much sauce not sure. Is there a live entertainment on Saturday nights?
I dont think so. It is more of a pizza restaurant with a bar. There is music but it seems more like an after work spot to socialize. I don't really see where there would be room for a live band.
Can I bring my 18 year old or is it 21 and up?
Before 10pm anyone and everyone is allowed! :-)
