This place was not good. I find myself becoming more leery of water at restaurants as I don't trust the source, and have you seen what's in our local water supply ?? well, I gave the water a shot and it was horrible... I'll spare a more detailed description. Switched to lemonade and guess what? The ice likely froze from the same water supply. So it tasted like lemonade seasoned with toile-tap water.... We ordered a couple of pizzas and I got the calamari appetizer bc of the rave reviews on Yelp. Another fatal mistake. They were NOT good. Fishy and rubbery and very very ick. Pizza was greasy, flavor was weird. I don't know how this place has such good reviews. Will never return, 1/10 Don't recommend. UPDATE: have had plenty of other water in the area and it's nowhere near as bad as your establishment. Check your filters bro. This place is...weird lol. The pizza is fantastic! But the vibe and service itself is very meh. I'm sure it varies during the daytime vs nighttime in weekdays vs weekends, but when I went the vibe is just off. We went on a Friday evening, this place is in the same little plaza as Danji, Cue Barbecue, and Firehouse Subs. I thought this place was going to be more like a bar or pub, I should have known from the start that this place was strange when I saw a bouncer outside asking for IDs lol. When we came in we didn't really know what to do. No one came up to us or said anything, one guy near the food counter was just staring at us. I finally went up to him, asked if he worked here, and he did. He told us we could sit anywhere we liked. Okay, would have been nice to know earlier when you were just staring at us lol. Their kitchen closes around 11pm I believe for their other menu items but they serve pizza until 1am. Our server came and we ordered the Patchos without bacon, and their grilled Krispy Kreme dessert. We ate dessert before we ate our entrees since their kitchen was closing soon. We got the grilled Krispy Kreme but not the Patchos. We were waiting forever for it and when I asked our server she just said "Oh I thought you were just asking a question, you didn't actually order it." I can kind of see how it happened since I asked questions about the rest of the menu, but still lol. The first thing I said was "Could we get the Patchos without bacon please" and everyone at my table confirmed that she wrote it down. I don't know how most people order but I feel like saying "could I have the XYZ" is a normal way of ordering and phrasing your order. Yes it's a question but like...not really - people order that way all the time. So I really didn't appreciate that. The kitchen had already closed but she told us she would "see what she could do", as if doing us a favor when I really think it was an error on her part. It took a long time for her to come around and take our orders for the pizza. We ordered the Magic Mushroom and we did a build your own pizza with Rosetti sauce (this is a pink sauce with tomato sauce and their ricotta mascarpone I believe) with kalamata olives, ricotta, fresh mozzarella, and red onions. Patchos - this was incredibly underwhelming and not worth the wait or the trouble. It's basically their house made potato chips with Gorgonzola and Parmesan cream sauce topped with scallions. It was just okay. Very salty appetizer, I wonder how much saltier it would be with the bacon. Grilled Krispy Kreme - this is just a grilled Krispy Kreme donut topped with ice cream and some chocolate sauce. It's alright Magic Mushroom - This was freaking amazing. Honestly a very memorable pizza and probably one of the best I've had in Georgia. I'm so mad that it was this good given the service lol. It's amazing when it's served fresh and hot, the cheese is just ooey gooey and melt in your mouth. It was $19.00 and it felt like a $19.00 pizza if that makes sense, I felt like I was tasting some really fancy pizza. The pizza is good cold too or even warm, but you gotta try it as soon as it's served at your table because that was peak amazingness. The build your own pizza we got was good too but it pales in comparison to the Magic Mushroom. After 11pm loud music started playing. And I mean it was blasting. Once the DJ started playing it was nearly impossible to have a conversation, you have to yell just to be heard by people at your booth. It was like I was in a club. There is no dance floor. You could tell most people were there just to chill, eat pizza, and talk with friends. So I don't know why they were blasting music like that, it just kills the vibe and is more annoying than anything. I would understand if they had a dance floor or something but they didn't. Sure there were some people dressed up but I honestly think they came here to pregame or eat some food before going out to an actual club. It was honestly so annoying we were tempted to just leave or take our food to go. But the issue is that the pizza is amazing when it's served fresh at your table, it's not going to be as good if you get it to go unless you eat it right then and there in the parking lot or live really close by. Hidden little gem that's been in the strip mall longer than any of the other restaurants not named Chipotle. Took my family for our first experience here and they were busy for Friday dinner. Looked like a mixed crowd of bar patrons and restaurant patrons. The place is small, so you may have to wait. The food is good! Got the Brussel sprout app, French dip and side Caesar. All were tasty! I had the chicken club and they allowed brussel sprouts as the side. I loved my meal. I think my family rates lower than I do though. K had a Maytag burger and rated it 7/10. I had some of his fries. JO had the 8" meatatarian pizza & JA had a slice. JA rated it 7.3/10 and JO a 8.5/10. They also shared the Spinach & Artichoke Fondue and we all said it's a 4/10. We are dip lovers and this one was not it. M had shrimp alfredo & he even ate the bread, rating his meal 7.5/10. My friend and I spent almost $200 on what started as a pleasant evening, thanks to the wonderful first bartender who went out of her way to make us feel welcome. We were so happy with her service that we closed out two tabs and tipped 25%. However things quickly turned sour after the shift change. We briefly stepped outside--no more than five minutes--only to return and find that our food had been thrown away. When I asked the second bartender about it, she acted clueless, explaining that she threw it away not expecting us to return (again...we were gone less than five minutes). She told me multiple times that if I would like, she would go grab the food from the trash for me. (?!?). She then called her manager to alleviate the situation. When I spoke to the manager, I was met with complete disrespect. Instead of showing any empathy or attempting to make things right, he argued with me for over 15 minutes, dismissing any responsibility and treating us like we were at fault for leaving our table. I explained that I understand maybe some customers may not return to grab their to-go, but we weren't gone for even 5 minutes. Plus, here we are now to try to get it, is there really NOTHING that could be done to help our situation? Considering everything? Yet, he explained there was nothing that could be done and reminded us it was our fault for leaving the establishment. I explained I hadn't had a SINGLE bite of the food before packing it up to-go because of other circumstances. I left hungry, disrespected, and genuinely surprised with how any establishment can treat their customers this way. Considering I spent well over $150 on food and service but wasn't able to enjoy any of the food, I am baffled with how they chose to handle the situation. I wish I told them to go look at the food inside the trash and see how untouched it was before they threw it out. I hope they can consider this as a way to improve their establishment. With Parma, it's either hit or miss. One day, it's fantastic, other days it's just meh. That includes food and service. Normally Parma is great, first time getting to go order. Live about 30 min away so I ordered from down the parking lot , picked up 15 minutes later eta online said 20 to 25 min. Family started eating in the car heading home after picking up. Fries were bad and not the truffle we always get despite paying the extra fee for them . Ordered no onions or sauce . Every time I've gone to Parma, I order what has been consistently good: burger and fries, or chicken Parmesan. I do not like the Alfredo--not creamy, but the service is friendly and efficient, and they had no problem resolving any concerns. I have not tried anything else on the menu, but I will definitely go back for my favorites. read more

You can't go wrong here, pasta, pizza, it's all good. It's quite a small place but that just gives it a really cozy feeling.

Parma is one of my favorite pizza places. I have a dairy allergy and they are one of the few places that really take precautions to not cross contaminate the food. I really appreciate that level of service. The flavor is consistent and my entire family loves them. read more

Hubby and I just had a very good dining experience @ Parma! We were served by Heather, who was friendly, had a very warm personality and was conscientious of us as she went about serving others and interacting with fellow employees. The Buffalo Cauliflower was excellent as was the lasagna (amazingly flavorful sauce). I enjoyed the Alfredo and appreciated the recommendation on having the blackened shrimp, rather than the plain. It definitely gave the dish a boost, which I felt was an enhancement to the Alfredo. I like a lil bit more of a flavor punch in my cream based sauces; especially if it's a garlic and wine based one. The focaccia bread was perfect! Still, it was a good dish and we'll certainly come back when we visit this area again. Bartender and managers are SO RUDE! My friend and i ate here and spent a couple hundred dollars and we stepped outside for less than 3 minutes and they threw our food away. We've come to Parma Tavern regularly since we moved to the area, and fell in love with their Buford pizza. Last night we went, had an app, and a Buford, and a few beers. Service was great, app & beer were good, but the pizza fell flat. Either they changed the recipe or the young girl I saw making it was new and did not know how to make it. There did not seem to be any cheese, toppings were sparse, and the romesco sauce was orange as if she put cheddar cheese on it, but you could not even taste the cheese. This is a wood-fired pizza that should be thin and crispy. The cook's idea of crispy was a burnt top and bottom. Since it's been a few months since we last visited, and we noticed mostly new faces, I'm hoping this is not the new normal for them. read more

Met some friends for lunch. I ordered two margaritas while there. When the bill came there was the charge of $18 for 2 margaritas and an extra charge of $4.00 for "margarita". The server tried to tell me it was because they don't have margaritas on the menu and it's a charge for the tequila. I asked to see the manager. He said the same thing. So why an additional charge for a margarita he said it was for the tequila and triple sec. BS! That's what's in a margarita and I shouldn't be charged extra. I stopped by while I was in the area. Everything on the menu sounds appetizing. I ordered the kids cheese pizza for my son (which was only 3 slices of pizza .. I was under the impression it was going to be at least 4 to make a whole small circle) but he enjoyed it. The calamari was very misleading. When it came out, it looked hot & crispy but once I bit into it, it was not crispy at all. They looked like little chicken tenders but did not have the crisp to it like normally when eating calamari. They also were flavorless & could have definitely used seasoning. I won't ever order those again & instead will try another app. Finally , I ordered the magic mushroom pizza & it was delicious. This is hands down my favorite pizza place. I usually get the margarita pizza with some prosciutto. So simple but if done right it tastes amazing! The crust is fresh, ingredients are homemade and they bake it in those cool ovens. My husband tried their Krispy Kreme burger and it was pretty good. It's basically a burger with donut buns. The donut does work, adds some sweetness at the end of the bite. Also adds a lot of calories . This place used to be my local spot for when I lived in Buford, GA. If ever you're near mall of Georgia. This is a must try for good eats! For starters, try out their Justin chips. Too good to pass up! I posted a pic cuz words can't describe how delightfully yummy it is. Let's just say it's kettle chips covered, smothered and topped! Bacon, cheese, heaven! Everything on the menu is good but my go to is he French dip or the meatball sub! Their house salad has a very tasteful vinaigrette dressing and pasta as well brings so much delight to my taste buds. We've eaten at Parma Tavern many times and it's also one of our "I don't feel like cooking" Door dash go-tos. They are consistently excellent and I love the monthly specials. They have very creative and tasty menu items across the board. The atmosphere is (in my opinion) trendy, casual and a classy rustic. My favorites include Brussels sprouts, burgers and meatballs (I know meatballs seem pretty standard but there's ALOT of places the mess them up by trying to add fillers rather than all meat). On Google this spot seemed more like an Italian restaurant rather than a pizza restaurant. When we initially got there we were going to try somewhere else because we wanted something a little more upscale but we decided to stay and was pleasantly pleased. This atmosphere was more of an after work spot that you can grab some delicious pizza and have a few drinks. The music was ok and the vibe was definitely cool. Ike was our server and he was AWESOME. He was fast and courtesy. He checked on us just enough and was quick with our food. He was funny and knew the menu well. I would recommend this spot if you want affordable delicious food. It's a cool place to meet with friends or meet new friends. It's even nice for a low key date night. I enjoyed my chicken parmesan and my fiance loved his BBQ pizza. Today I had lunch at Parma Tavern, a brand new restaurant for me. It was a fantastic experience from beginning to end. The interior has a very "pub" feel to it, with dark wood, etc., but did not feel dim or dreary. It managed to have the pub atmosphere while still feeling fresh and modern. The booth was comfortable, and even had hooks for coats/purses. There were tables and a bar as well. I was with friends and so I got to sample several dishes - calamari, fried cauliflower, brussel sprouts, the misto salad with the garlic vinaigrette, and the meatball sub. Another friend got a pizza that looked and smelled wonderful, and a third got a large salad that was beautiful. The various sauces with all of those dishes were each delicious as well. Everything we ate was well prepared, served quickly, perfect temperature, and just plain delicious. I had a Diet Coke, but I noticed their beer selection was pretty good too. They carried Victory Golden Monkey, which is one of my favorites and I will definitely grab one on my next visit. Regrettably, I can not remember the name of our server, but she was fantastic! She was friendly, helpful, very quick with refills, and knowledgeable about the menu. Unrelated to the food: the bathrooms were very clean, and I do love that in a restaurant! Came the past Friday. Hostess was very friendly and sat us asap. Our server was okay. She checked on my friend and I once but we never got our waters refilled in the time we spent there for over four hours. I drank my water all the way til it was empty. And we took our time eating so that was surprising. I docked off a half star for that type of service and then another because my food wasn't hot. I ordered the eggplant sandwich which was probably THE best veggie sandwich I have ever had in my life. It was incredibly delicious and filling. It just wasn't hot despite the melted cheese. My fries were very cold in fact. So, our food was definitely sitting there for a while. Disappointing but I get they're busy. I didn't get a chance to flag a waitress down and was hungry so I just gave in to the sandwich and fries. She only came around once and by that time I'd eaten enough of my food. But I can only imagine how much better it would be if it were served fresh! Other than that, it's very very loud here as it is fairly busy so it makes it hard to hear your conversation.
