Family loved the regular donuts. No complaints. They're quite large so don't be shocked by their price. It's easy to order online and pickup. I tried the gluten free donuts and they were dry as heck. The toppings saved them. I appreciate that they have a gluten free option, but know they can do better.

My favorite donuts!!! I come from Chicagoland to get these, quite often actually. They are so light, and crispy, and the flavors fit so well together. My favorite flavors include Strawberry Shortcake and Cookies & Cream. The earlier you get there, the more likely you are to make sure you find all of the flavors still in stock. Service is always very helpful & quick. I never get drinks or the breakfast items, but they seem to be a hit with several of the customers.

These are interesting. Definitely a croissant-donut hybrid, type pastry thing. The flavors were nice and the presentation was pretty. The store is nicely decorated. The service was swift being that there was a line. The prices are steep. While the pastries were edible I'm not sure if I will return for these.

Strawberry cream cheese, s'more, double chocolate, vanilla carnival, cookies n cream, and I forgot the last one

My first time here. I was blown away. The doughnuts taste as good as they look. A light fluffy flakey croissant like dough. A bit pricy but so worth it. I will be back.

I've been in before, so just now leaving my review. I stopped in to grab a box of donuts for a friend that lives out of town. I got a variety of 6, grabbed two for my husband and I, as well as we tried a Leto donut. The box of 6 (for kids) looked amazing. The box of two I shared with my hubby tasted amazing!!! I LOVE these donuts because they have the consistency more like a croissant than a "donut". The Keto donut was mid-level. I love the concept and idea, but they do taste a bit heavy and a little grainy. I presume the use some sort of almond flower, so the texture is a little different. The icing was sweet tasting. The downside is that they are a bit costlier than a traditional donut (like from Dunkin), but the donuts are huge and easily shareable. Just make sure you get lots of napkins and some wet wipes

Parlor is legit good donuts! Rarely do these new fancy donut places live up to the hype. Parlor exceeded the hype! Our whole family loved it. And the donuts are very reasonably priced compared to other fancy donut shops. Most are a little less than $3 each. Considering you pay almost $2 at Dunkin these days, this is a bargain! Our daughter also had a latte and really enjoyed it. We had stopped in for after school treats to celebrate the first day for all of our kiddos. I can't wait to come back and try their breakfast menu.

Well I bit the bullet and am happy to report my comrades and I survived the line. It is not so long because of the folks ordering but they lack a system. I say put at the beginning of the line a zerox sheet of paper where you write down next to each donut a number - hand the sheet up and they could go to town while you pay. Simple. They could also go high tech and you order on line and its ready when you show up... like Jimmy Johns does with Sandwiches. Your donuts in a box by the door with your name on it.

This doughnut shop has been opened for about four weeks and I had to stop by while in town. We arrived when they opened. There was already a line of about 8 people and the line moved at a steady pace. When we arrived we were informed that the doughnuts were ordered separately from the hot food and drinks. The names of the doughnuts pull you in. We tried five and since I liked the basic dough base, which seemed like a cross between a croissant and yeast doughnut, I enjoyed all the flavors we tried - raspberry pistachio, raspberry filled, chocolate chocolate, campfire and plain Jane. They have dog doughnuts too which our dog loved! I also tried the breakfast tacos with bacon and avocado. The flavor was good though there was a bit too much cheese for my preference. The size was generous and I was not able to finish the tacos or a whole doughnut . The rest of the doughnuts held up well and it made a great mid day snack. I'm glad Parlor Doughnuts is in the area. I'd return to try more of their hot breakfast items and drinks, while there I'd likely pick up a doughnut and work my way through the other flavors.

Tried the campfire, cookies and cream, turtle, and the French toast. Every one of the donuts was decent. The French toast was definitely the best of the 4. The cost was 19 bucks for 4 donuts and 1 drink. The place could've benefited by having warmers on the donuts. All of them were cold and didn't taste fresh out of the oven. Free coffee would also be a good addition, considering rise and roll down the road offers coffee for free.

These donuts are awesome. They just opened in Valparaiso so there is usually a line, but definitely worth the wait! They are lite and flakey, the perfect hybrid of donut & croissant Our favor flavors were the lemonade blueberry & Reese We will be back, can't wait to try the seasonal flavors and the breakfast items.

    Mini donuts.

While visiting valpo, I was recommended to try parlor donuts. The store was very clean and staff were friendly. Their donuts were delicious. The style of donuts are on the thicker side. They taste like a cronut crispy outside thick doughy inside. If you buy by dozen , each donut cost $2.25. These are fancy donuts so the prices are average for this type of pastry.

Parlor's tables and chairs design compliment the fun floor tile and space so beautifully!

The shop is very quaint and they are specialty donuts so they are more costly than a Dunkin' Donuts but I did have one and they are amazing!

It was so smooth, just the right amount of sweet. Incredible! And the bagel was nice and crunchy on the outside and super soft in the middle. As someone who grew up a stones throw from NYC I can be a bagel snob. This was perfection. I sat there and worked for a while and at one point one of the baristas brought me over a cup of water. There are two doors and a step in between, and even I had to maneuver my way in and out. Just an FYI. The Press has a coffee shop inside of it. How nice! I didn't partake because the line was long, but the coffee smelled amazing. What a pleasant thing to be a bookstore that's also a coffee shop. There are some cozy couches and tables here and there among the stacks of books. I suppose you could take your cup of coffee and curl up on a couch or chair, because I saw one person doing that. But mostly: This is a bookstore, not so much a coffee shop or place to lounge. So I wouldn't visit with the intention of posting up and working for a few hours. This doesn't seem like that kind of place. Again, it's a bookstore first, a coffee shop second, a place to lounge third. Although The Press is a small bookstore, it has a nice children's section, with lots of books for kids and even graphic novels (my personal favorite). There is something for everyone here.
