The Alteration lady Lisa, lies about her sewing skills. She charged me $160 for few alterations and when I reached home and opened the bags- all clothes were returned without any alterations. She just pressed and hung them on hanger and said she was too busy to let me inspect and try them at her shop. When I went back to her with clothes, she just refused to admit her fault. The husband is rude and obnoxious!! I don't know how anyone is suggesting a positive review about them. They are EXPENSIVE!!! And wastage of money. I now go to a different dry cleaner altogether. Even told me they would not take one of them - from clothes they dry cleaned. Told me it was my responsibility to do it right, and actually started getting aggressive with me over it. I'm a customer! Our house has been using Parkway for years. I really resented the way I was treated! Hello all you consumers - PARKWAY recycles and reuses the wire hangers they give us and we return. Sorting the hangers is a courtesy, not an obligation. As a customer, I do it begrugingly but it is NOT my job. We are not paid to their work. I suggest management have a talk with their help so they understand the relationship: we consumers/customers pay Parkway for a service. We assist them to be responsible in the community by bringing back plastic and hangers. It is not our job to sort them. That's a courtesy. Period.

They have wonderful customer service (truly, everyone here is very kind) and very fair prices. I won't risk trying a different place for alterations because because every time I've gone here, the work was wonderful, exactly what I asked for, and done in a timely manner. I've had linen pants, work pants, jeans, etc. all altered here and they've all been perfect. I wouldn't recommend going during the holiday season as they are typically swamped with alternations.

I have gone to Kim's for over 20 years and had a good relationship with them. They recently…read morealtered my daughter's party dress. It just needed to be shortened in the hem and straps. Somehow their tailor had a mixed message and completely deconstructed then reconstructed the dress in an odd way. The tag is now under the arm instead of the back and there is a seam running up the front. The dress no longer fits and is now worthless. It was brand new and still had the price tag. I took it back to show them and Mrs. Kim became combative insisting that the dress was like that when I brought it to them. I have photos before of the dress and it clearly was different. There is no question that it was mistakenly altered at their shop. She refused to listen and accused me of upsetting them. After 20 plus years of frequenting their shop, I'm shocked at her reaction. I've now also seen similar negative reviews. Extremely disappointing. I am now out $250 for the ruined dress and alterations which they refused to reimburse. I will never go there again.
