Very Bad Office Experience! My son had a consultation…read moreappointment. He has special needs and takes transit. It's-15 outside, he was running 5-10 minutes late so very politely he called the office to let them know that he is on his way but running a bit late. Guess what?? The secretary ask him to reschedule his appointment. She was very rude. Told him that doctor is not available for you today if you come late. And she just rescheduled him!!! I called the office when I got the message from my son, she showed her extreme rude behaviour towards me over the phone. I told her right there, I will be posting this on the review, she immediately asked me if he can come back. Absolutely NOT!!!! I hope the Doctor reads this and takes actions!!!! We're not happy with this at all!!!

It has a professional environment, the Staff are exceptional - the best bedside manner I have encountered to date and the office itself is very comfortable. Talking to Dr. Friedlich was really easy, he listened to my fears and concerns and truly talked me through them which I really appreciated (because I have a huge fear of dental surgeons/procedures/dentists). The nurses were also amazing, they introduced themselves to me and told me they would be with me through this whole process- which they were. Overall, what I thought would be the scariest part of the procedure ended up being the best. The surgery went very smoothly, I was given clear instructions on what to do for the next few days to prevent complications. Dr. Friedlich also makes calls to make sure that you are doing well. Overall, I am extremely happy I chose Dr. Friedlich for this procedure. He really went above and beyond to make sure I had the best experience possible and I truly did!

This originally was going to be a 5-star review because of how professional Dr.Joshi is and how…read moretransparent he was about the work getting done on my teeth. I still stand by my statement that Dr. Joshi is a WONDERFUL dentist. I recently changed my mind after receiving Account Statement for $100 after I was told I had paid in full during my original appointment in February. When I called to ask what had happened I was met with different answers 1. They forgot to add the additional work done in the original bill 2. My insurance pays every 2 weeks so there was a discrepancy on the bill 3. There was a glitch/error from the computer when adding it in. I personally don't believe its good practice. If I had recieved a call shortly after my appointment explaining there was an error I would have no issue with that, mistakes happen. However sending off an account statement saying I owe them money due to an error made on their behalf without any explanation seems uncaring and unprofessional.

Mechanic discussion is for another day / review (Frank at Humberview VW), but this one is to share my thoughts on Dr. Rashid. I've been going to Dr. Rashid at several of his practices for the past decade or so. In a line of work where dentists can rip your wallet apart by scaring you to get treatments you don't need (and may God Protect us when they know that patient has insurance), Dr. Rashid is a God sent. He gives honest feedback on true condition and helps solves the problems rather than creating new ones that don't exist. I can understand that many dentists are looking to make money (just like the rest of us), but it appears that many don't believe they are answerable to God in there Hereafter. Every penny earned by tricking someone intentionally will come to bite you on the Day of Judgement so amend your ways before it's too late when neither your money nor your high profile friends will be able to help you. If you (dear money-driven dentist) need to see how a good, honest dentist should be - go spend a day with Dr. Rashid. Sorry if that sounded harsh, but had to be said. All said, if you have a tooth issue and want honest advice and want your pain to be resolved without paying for unnecessary fixes, don't think twice - call Dr. Rashid.

The office followed up to check in on me the next day. That was two years ago. Today I got the last two wisdom teeth pulled and again the procedure was completed quickly and with minimal swelling. The staff were also very clear on what I should and shouldn't do to help speed my recovery. At one point I had pain and raised my hand. Dr. Abouzgia stopped immediately to administer more freezing in the area. From my experiences I find him to be a very good oral surgeon with excellent staff.

DO NOT USE THIS "Oral Surgeon" Ask for a referral SOMEWHERE ELSE!…read moreI recently have had some major dental issues, went to my dentist 3 times over a few days with major pain, needed a root canal and 3 wisdom teeth removed (this is where Dr. Mustafa came in). Between visits to his office I had to visit the hospital for the same infection and pain that had gotten considerably worse. The hospital changed my antibiotics and gave 12 painkillers to get me through to the extraction day a few days later. Dr. M condemned the change of antibiotics (which helped with the infection in 12hrs something the amoxicillin hadn't done in 4 days) and when I mentioned the pain that I was in and said how the hospitals pesrcsription help with the pain I feel I was instantly treated like a drug seeker. When I went into surgury almost ALL fluorescent lights in the room were burnt out, not professional at all, out of 27 bulb (I counted as I laid in the chair) 24 were burnt out, it felt like a third world operating room. The room was filled with out dated equipment (a computer from the late 80's maybe early 90's sat on the counter) all adding to a very uncomfortable environment beloning to someone who can't possibly take their profession seriously, or just doesn't care. I opted to only be frozen during the procedure, not knowing what was about to happen, a clear explanation of what was about to happen would have been nice as opposed to just the words "pressure pressure pressure" when teeth where aggressively pulled. After the surgury I was prescribed a mild pain killer, that have not helped at all with the pain despite mentioning to him that the first time he prescribed these on my first visit prior to the hospital had done nothing to help manage the pain. All and all good for him for keeping drug seekers at bay (although I'm not one and in significant pain), the receptionist was the only pleasant part of the experience, she came off very caring and thoughtful, but I'd never recommend this place EVER.
