Overall this clinic is good. Their Square One clinic is fairly new, having been in operation for…read moreless than a year. Their office space has a contemporary, tasteful aesthetic and a calming ambience. Dental staff are pleasant, courteous and accommodating. During my most recent appointment, for instance, I was especially appreciative of them not billing me for a procedure for which they would normally charge. The one thing I would highly recommend to Studio Dental is to consider doing a little more networking with insurance providers in advance of a patient's scheduled visit. Doing so will prevent patients from being surprised by unforeseen out-of-pocket costs. Patients will then be able to make better informed decisions about procedures that their insurance provider may or may not cover. The fact that direct billing is being advertised as one of Studio Dental's primary marketing features makes this an even more important consideration in my opinion.

I recently had to see a dentist at 143 Sheppard Ave E. the…read moredentist I saw was Dr Eric Ebrahimi. I had a simple check up & the Dr.told me I need to get a tooth(moler) removed(as I was having some discomfort there) I was told that I also had another piece of something attached to the root of my moler that needed to be pulled as well. I was treated with so much care from Dr Ebrahimi to all the Ladies(staff) who always had a smile & kind words to make me feel more comfortable I was put to sleep due to some health issues & before I knew it...it was all over. The procedure took about 1/2hr & I was home relaxing & recovering within an hr. I had pain for the first day (which the Dr.warned me about) & it seemed to slow down by the next few days. I had a post op" appointment the following week & Dr Ebrahimi said everything looks great the gums are healing well. I have to say that this dentist office is so wonderful. I have been to the Danforth dentist office to & they are all amazing there to. I can't stop saying such nice things about this place. Your in good hands when you come here. Thank you Dr Ebrahimi & all your staff for everything.

So you can imagine how I was dreading my visit to the oral surgeon. Thank goodness for Dr. Moncarz and the rest of the staff here. They were amazing. Friendly. Patient. Funny. Thorough. Dr. Moncarz himself was funny, friendly, and took the time to explain things to me in as much depth as I wanted. I was greatly reassured by the time I left my consultation appointment and arrived for my surgery feeling only minimally nervous. I was seen exactly on time for all of my appointments and everything seemed quite efficient while I was being seen. The staff were willing to work with me to book appointments around my crazy schedule. Dr Moncarz made sure I was armed with enough medications to deal with the pain I'd have after having four wisdom teeth (two impacted) removed under general anesthetic. He also reviewed the post-op instructions me with as well as providing a detailed handout that I could read again later. I even received a call from the office the day after my surgery checking in to see how things were going and address any questions. One star off because the clinic is a bit cluttered and the kind of dirty that happens when a place has been open for years and years. I have no concerns about safety (and I'm a nurse - I feel like I'm a pretty good judge of cleanliness and sterility), but the appearance of the place could have been more reassuring. That said, I was thrilled with the whole team and everything went as well as can be expected when you're having teeth yanked out of your head. I'd definitely recommend Dr. Moncarz should you ever be in need of similar services.

So I jumped on the Opencare offer and decided to try out a different dentist that was closer to home and I'm so glad I did. I saw Dr. Linda Chau and she was amazing. In the past couple of visits I've had with her (including an initial check-up, a cleaning, a root canal, and a root canal check up), I've never had to wait for her. She's always professional, punctual, and extremely thorough in my visits. She is always explaining what is happening and I never feel like I'm in the dark when it comes to my care. I remember on my initial visit, she went through every tooth and what I could do with it and gave me a list of things she'd eventually like to do. However, knowing that I didn't want to be pressured to do things, she then gave me timelines on when I would want to have certain things done by because it would affect my oral health, and which of the items were mainly cosmetic or touch-ups and could be put on hold for a long time. On top of all that, she's extremely good at what she does. When she did my root canal, she was so skilled, I actually fell asleep in the chair XD The rest of the staff is also amazing, friendly, and always willing to help. I would definitely recommend this office to anyone who is looking for a new dentist.
