The office is beautiful and very upscale. While sometimes cosmetic dental offices can feel intimidating, that was not the case here at all. Every staff member was welcoming, and the patient coordinator was absolutely amazing. After my X-rays, I explained to the doctor what I was hoping to do, and he was extremely supportive of my plan. Many people with significant dental issues feel insecure about their smile, and just talking about next steps can be emotional. I never once felt judged or uncomfortable discussing my situation or my decision to move forward with full dentures. The dentist made me feel completely at ease and respected throughout the entire visit. I would give this office a 10/10 recommendation. I also want to mention that, because it is a cosmetic dental office, I expected it to be extremely expensive--but it was actually more affordable than a regular dental office. Luckily, Dr. Tozzi's office was able to take me in today and fix my issue! I had x-rays done, an exam, and my filling fixed, all in about an hour! The best part was even though I have no insurance, my out-of-pocket expense was extremely reasonable! The office was super clean and modern with fun little toothpaste & toothbrush pulls for the cabinets. I interacted with about 5 people, including Tom who performed my dental work. Every single person here is unbelievably friendly and welcoming, easing any sort of anxiety one might have when going to the dentist. I really loved my experience and actually look forward to future visits :)

When I explained to Dr. Timothy Luong that I'm severely claustrophobic and have a history of panic attacks from previous life-threatening surgeries, he showed zero empathy. He didn't listen to my concerns at all--he simply insisted on the glasses and, when I couldn't comply due to my medical condition, asked me to leave immediately. This complete lack of compassion and accommodation for a legitimate health issue was shocking and unacceptable. No effort was made to discuss alternatives or understand my situation. I felt dismissed and disrespected as a patient. I will never step foot in Ascend Dental again and strongly advise others to think twice before choosing this practice. For some reason that price was now $75 instead of the $25 they told me it would be when I first arrived. I paid the $75. Finally, the hygienist came in to clean my teeth. She was very friendly and she did a great job cleaning my teeth. On my way out, I noticed they had a sign in the window that said a cleaning, exam, and x-rays was $59 for new patients. I'm not sure why I was charged $75, even with my insurance, if they're only charging other new clients $59. Overall, the medical professionals at this office were professional and competent. The wait time and total visit time took too long. And I feel like I overpaid considering they charged me more with insurance, than they do people without.
