I've been coming to see Dr. Harouni since I moved to Las Vegas close to 2 years ago. The first time I visited him, I chipped my tooth and needed to be seen ASAP. The front office scheduled me to see him in the next 30 minutes. To my amazement, I was in and out of his office within a grand total of 28 minutes!!! I was absolutely amazed at how quickly they fixed me up and I've been coming here ever since for regular preventive care. Dr Harouni has great bedside manner as he treated me with compassion and kindness on my first evaluation. I was referred here by the VA in November 2021 for general treatment. The staff is very cordial and well organized. The personnel here are also very considerate with their sanitation protocols to prevent nosocomial infections between patients. While it may sound funny, they wear full personal protective equipment with air filtration; I say funny because they almost look like minions. That said, I appreciate their precautions in a medical and dental environment. For those on a first time visit, there is handicap parking available. I have been going to Dr. Harouni for many years and have always been very happy with his work. He is kind and gentle, therefore making my time in his chair as pleasant as possible. I can't say that I love going to the dentist but going to Dr. Harouni isn't bad. The environment in Dr. Harouni's office feels relaxed and professional. I have often been impressed with how respectful the doctor is to his patients, staff and colleagues. He has a great sense of humor and will even listen to a corny joke if you've got one. Some dentists may try to push you to get work done that you don't need. Dr. Harouni doesn't do that. He will tell you, however, that if I let something go, it will get worse later. Las Vegas "Best-of-Class" Dental Enterprise I am newly relocated to Las Vegas, newly retired from a 34-year career with the US Navy in Wash DC. How difficult, I quickly discovered, it was to locate a dentist with professional core values. It took me the better part of my first year to 'find' Dr. Harouni, but it sure was worth the effort! The very first procedure Dr. Harouni and his wonderful assistant Christine performed was a complex bridge replacement. Other than the futile wish I had my original tooth magically back where my decades-old bridge was situated I couldn't have been more pleased with the outcome, so remarkably efficient and skillfully performed. Lots of metal tools, the constant hum of "dental-sounds", remarkably adroit and confident hands, and absolutely no pain. Wow! Moreover, I've never been to a dentist with greater academic accomplishments! Beyond the academics Dr. Harouni gets the highest grade for "compassion, care, and gentleness". It's a quality that was best expressed by a Philosopher from nearly 2000 years ago: "Be kind to everyone you meet, for everyone here is fighting a hard battle". Dr. Harouni may or may not be a student of Philosophy, I don't know. But he surely instills this "Kindness to all" philosophical leaning in his 'best-of-class' professionalism. I am that person who puts off going to the dentist until something bad happens..because I'm so scared. I know ridiculous right. But I've never in my life had a better experience at a dental office! From the moment you walk in they are so friendly. The front desk lady is so nice and welcoming. My first visit she was busy yet still smiled and welcomed me in. Today she remembered me from my last visit which felt nice. Next the dental assistant! She is also so freaking nice!!! My first visit she told doctor how nervous I was (while I'm slightly crying and dealing with anxiety) and he came in so friendly, not even annoyed one bit that I was having a moment. This truly meant so much to me and helped calm my nerves. The assistant answered all my questions and did my deep cleaning. My mouth is extremely sensitive due to the years of piercings I had that damaged my gums and teeth. They made sure to numb me so well I couldn't even tell where they were working inside the mouth! I've never been so comfortable at a dental office. After my cleaning I needed to have a front tooth filling replaced. Doctor Harouni came in and had the filling taken care of within probably 10minutes! So fast! Again I felt nothing! The things I appreciated the most from my time visiting this office: 1. The super friendly, caring staff! (Front desk, dental assistant, and the doctor) 2. The doctor light funny personality! He pops in from time to time to see how you're doing! 3. I've been twice now and they run right on schedule, no waiting! 4. Fast, efficient, and Quality Care! 5. THE NUMBING!!! I appreciate they are not stingy with it! I made the appointment because of a baby tooth that is still in my mouth. I wanted a cleaning and to see if there is anything he could do with that tooth. Cap it or fill it maybe, whatever. They took ex-rays and saw that a tooth behind it might have a crack in it but I never had any pain or trouble with it. My mouth was painless and had been painless for 48 years. He proceeds to say that I needed a crown and it would cost me $3500. I'm thinking he is gonna take care of my baby tooth but nope! It's the one behind it! He sawed it off then crowned that one! I now have pain anytime I drink or eat. After he crowned it I asked him if he's gonna take care of the baby tooth and he quickly said there's nothing I can do unless I want a root canal. I was so stunned and pissed off. I told him that he did me wrong. Now I'm in pain for the rest of my life and have to pay a loan off for a procedure that shouldn't have happened in the first place. I love going to the Dentist. I have a wonky mouth with lots of issues. I had braces in college, oral surgery 4 times, and still have a messed up mouth, but the Dentist has never failed me. I have shiny teeth and no cavities. I have had many a Dentist in Houston but was recommended to Dr. Harouni through friends here. I have been several times (I have good dental insurance!) and have enjoyed each visit. I have also referred several friends who really enjoyed their experiences here as well. Both hygienists I have had are wonderful. I saw Carrie last week and she is so sweet. The office is conveniently located behind Galleria Mall in the circle drive behind Kohl's and JCPenney - there are a zillion dental offices in the building so it is hard to miss, the building has DDS all over the place in huge letters. Dr. Harouni is on the 2nd floor, up the stairs to the left. The staff is all very welcoming and nice. The best is when you make an appointment, you get a text message the day before and can confirm by replying with a C, so you don't get any nagging phone calls. Bring your retainer with you; the staff will clean it while you get your teeth cleaned. Dr. Harouni is very nice and the visit is always very easy. Last time I showed up early and did not have to wait, and was out relatively speedily - as in under 30 minutes! They are closed Fridays but open on holidays like Veterans Day so you can make your appointments around those days. I highly recommend this office! :D BIG SMILE! read more

I've come here a couple of times, once for my initial x-rays and another time for a cleaning. The first time my husband and I came here, we were a little confused. At other dentists we've been to, our first visit included x-rays and a basic cleaning. Here, our first visit only consisted of taking our x-rays and then they wanted us to come back for our cleaning. They told me I needed a regular cleaning, and that my husband needed a deep cleaning. My husband declined the deep cleaning and asked if he could just get the regular cleaning, and was told he couldn't. I thought that was very strange - I've never been to a dentist office that declined to do a basic cleaning. My husband decided he didn't want to schedule anything with them, but I still came in for my cleaning and filling. Dr. Harouni was quick and efficient, I think it took at most 15 minutes to get my filling. I think maybe he used too much of the filling material or something, though, because then when he tried to floss between my teeth, the floss kept getting stuck and broken. He had to use a separator and various other tools to clear some space before the floss was finally able to go through without breaking. Afterward, it was a bit of a wait before my dental hygienist was able to do my cleaning. I think I sat in the lobby for about 20-30 minutes before she was ready for me. I thought she was friendly, and it didn't take her too long. I found that most of the staff was friendly, and they are great at communicating. I always get an email, text, and phone call reminder before my visits. I'm a little conflicted, as I found my interactions with their office pleasant, but I still find it odd they wouldn't allow my husband to get a basic cleaning. They didn't provide any reasoning, and in retrospect, we should have asked. Other than that, they seem like a great place. They are in an easy location to get to, right by the Galleria Mall, and there's plenty of parking. And if you have Teachers Health Trust, they take it. read more

Dr. Harouni and his staff are amazing, and I highly recommend them. I was looking for a dentist, since the last office I visited quoted me pretty high for all the work I needed done. But after reading Lisa R's review, I had to give this place a try. I'm a huge proponent of greeting someone as soon as they walk in, and doing it in a friendly manner. I was not disappointed at all. Courtney, the office manager, was very warm and welcoming. After I was led to the back, my initial contact was with the dental assistants. And let me tell you, they are just as professional, cordial and nice as the front desk staff. Funny too! They keep me smiling and laughing every time I'm there. Dr. Harouni came in soon afterward and wanted to work quickly, but was thorough and made sure I was doing ok the whole time. I actually had and entire upper molar that had more than half of it broken off! I was not even sure if the tooth was salvageable at that point. He realistically told me that he was not sure if he would be able to save it and another tooth on the other side that had a huge cavity. It would mean not one, but TWO root canals for me. EXPENSIVE, to say the least. I'm happy to report that Dr. Harouni was able to perform the root canal on the broken tooth and put a crown on it, as well as save my other tooth with a filling! After everything was over, I was very worried about how I was going to afford everything because yes, my insurance would cover most of it, but I was still out of pocket for $1,500. Never to fear, Courtney is here! She took her time to explain Care Credit and how it works, calculated everything right there so I understood, told me how many months I had of interest-free financing and also how to set up my account online. If you want great service that is fast, affordable and always with a smile, then I suggest you make Dr. Harouni your dentist like, yesterday! read more

I've had mouth pain for ten years due to an implant. I've been to more dentists than I care to remember and not one of them could help. I had given up on pain resolution and decided I'd just have to live with it. Then I made an appointment with Dr. Harouni and my life has changed dramatically! In the process of replacing some old caps he made some extra room in my mouth which miraculously got totally rid of the pain I've been suffering every waking hour for the past ten years. I should also mention that Dr. Harouni is unbelievably nice and very personable, a great dentist who lets the patient know what he's doing every minute. All I can say about Dr. Harouni is that he is an unethical son of a bitch! The first time that I went to Dr. Harouni he knew I was having a root canal done by dr. Daniel Shalev. Dr Shalev was having a hard time getting the root canal correct. I kept on having infections after he did a root canal on one of my teeth. I was having second thoughts about Dr. Shalev. ( An Endodonist that you should never ever go to, very very bad bedside manner, does not know how to speak to his patience respectfully). So I made my second appointment with Dr. Harouni to get a teeth cleaning and have the root canal restored. When I came in Dr. Harouni said, I cannot restore your tooth because Dr. Shalev was not done with the root canal. Dr. Harouni spoke to Dr. Shalev before he came into the room to speak to me. When I told him I didn't have any faith in Dr. Shalev, Dr. Harouni immediately change course and said to me, you have a unique and complicated bite so I'll be sending you to a specialist who will better assist you in this dental matter. I said are you dismissing me from your practice! Dr. Harouni's response was you'd be better off with a specialist since you have a unique and complicated bite. And I said I thought you were the specialist! I believe that since I was having trouble with Dr. Shalev, Dr. Shalev told Dr. Harouni not to deal with me in the future. So Dr. Harouni dismiss me from his practice without actually doing any work on me! I told Dr. Harouni that when I first came in I gave him respect, even though he didn't earn it yet, and told him I have no respect for you whatsoever, you are an unethical person. read more

I went in with one problem to be fixed and instead of fixing it, he removed the permanent brace without consent and refused to do it on that appointment (despite me stating that at the time of my booking and his team reassured me that it will be done on the day and it will cost 250). So far the best dentist I've been to in a long time. I haven't been to too many Dentist in Vegas so nothing to compare him to. I drive 30 min to see him. His staff is friendly and they can talk lol.
