"sprawling" single story facility off 424 on the east side of town; casual entrances south and east…read moreplus emergency around to the west. hospital staff are pleasant and professional, did a quick time and temp thing for plague before I could enter and use the facility so that's a plus... then did a courtesy room check to make sure I wasn't going to disturb anyone with a phone call. got the all clear and was informed dinner would be served shortly so I went around to the window to chat with my uncle and see how he was doing. room seems comfortable and well appointed with plenty of room for visitors if they were allowed but they ain't. a nurse (aid?) helped him get around to the window seat and left us to visit for a while. my uncle was recovering from his hip thing pretty well, he was in good spirits but a little tired so I got on my way after chatting for a short hour - was kinda like a zoom meeting but with a bigger screen and the video is less choppy. gotta do what you gotta do. It's plague season everywhere so currently each patient is allowed ONE specified in-room visitor as a reasonable compromise between the extremes of hysterical over-reaction and the potential for infectious under-reaction.

He found the cause of constant headaches when I started (last doc had missed the center of my coke bottles by less than a pencil width and my eyes were fighting to pull to the proper centers) spends the most time with the severe astigmatism and other issues I and family have had. So much so I take the time to get there when I have vision issues. He has helped several shooters including some with advanced vision issues; Bullseye handgun shoots himself and has run IDPA if he can't do it you will be referred to someone who can BEFORE you dump a boatload of $$$.

The last time I had physical therapy, there were so many young physical therapists that were very unprofessional. The receptionist always on the phone making personal calls. My physical therapist was more interested in the female therapist flirting with her that was next to him working on another patient. Listening to their gossip & bad mouthing other employees. My physical therapist interested in his phone he took it out of his pocket probably 20 times in the hour I was there. So, next I'm getting ready to have physical therapy on my left shoulder, and I am NOT going to Indiana physical therapy to get ignored by the teenagers that gossip in front of patients, play on their phones, and flirt act like they are in high school.
