A student performed a simple procedure on me and the doctor gave no guidance what so ever and it caused my body extreme pain when the student had zero guidance. Doctor was in the room and had the opportunity. After this bad experience and even more with this office I have left promedica altogether and after talking with many of my friends they did the same. Not the doctor, she's ok and the staff is friendly enough but the freaking wait time is horrendous!!!! It doesn't matter what time I make my appointment for I'm always there waiting 45 minutes + PAST my wait time!!!! It's completely ridiculous and when they finally do come in the room there isn't even an apology. These people really need to hire a decent scheduler who understands and values the patients time.

Pretty crazy and stressful to be moving back to the D during the winter. Oh wait...did I mention that I was 32 weeks pregnant and had to find a new Dr in my third trimester? Not stressful at all (please note the hint of sarcasm). I was seriously stressing out! Finding a new Dr is hard enough...but finding a Dr that you like to deliver your first child...well, thats just next to impossible...or so I thought! Enter Dr. Burton Brodsky. I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Brodsky. The minute he walked in the room he immediately made my husband and I feel comfortable. He took his time to sit down and talk to us (instead of just rushing us out the door) and answered all of the questions we had to ask. My delivery was as close to perfect as one could be and I totally owe that to Dr. Brodsky. He is seriously the best Dr. that I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. I feel so lucky that I was referred to his office. As a side note....they have TV's in every exam room...so while you are waiting you can check out whats happening on Regis & Kelly...BUT make sure to time your appointments right...if you LOATHE Rachel Ray (like me) you don't want to get stuck listening to her annoying voice while you are chillin' in an exam gown. My only issue is that their waiting room is a little hectic. It is shared with the general practitioner and pediatric office and therefore is sometimes very full and loud. I think they are remodeling so this may be alleviated soon. If you are looking for an OB/GYN in Oakland County here is your answer. I don't think you could find anyone better than Dr. Brodsky. Makes me want to have another baby already...thats how much I love this office!!

They would get 100's if I could!…read more Dr. Brodsky is a very kind and compassionate physician that has a phenomenal bedside manner His confidence and knowledge definitely puts him in a league of his own. He is very down to earth and does not have the "God" complex that is seen in so many physicians. I have referred several friends to him and all of them say the same thing. His office staff is by far the best group of ladies I have ever met. They are understanding and compassionate. I have been seeing Dr. Brodsky for about 7 years now and have to say there is no other physician I would see. He has helped me make a very important decision and I am so glad he was the surgeon.

She takes time to listen to you and answer your questions. HOWEVER- the staff at her office are HORRIBLE!!! I've never had one good experience with any of them- from the girls answering the phones to the girl at the front desk, to the nurses. I have no clue why they are ALWAYS (13 years) so pissed off at the world! I just called the office because I've moved out of town and wanted to know if my doctor may know of any other doctors in my new area (crazy, I thought, perhaps one good doc may know of others). The receptionist (Leslie) cut me off during my question and said, "No, no no, she doesn't know anyone anywhere else." I then continued to explain to her why I was calling and she VERY rudely (like I was asking her to do something OTHER than her JOB!!!) said, "Well I guess I can ask her but she's not in the office again until Friday." I said, nevermind- I'll find a doctor on my own. This receptionist is not the first rude person- not even rude- just plain out MEAN person I've spoken to there. If you can stomach the wenches they have working there, the doctor is amazing. Good luck!

my regular doc was out of town, and I was given Dr Mohammadione for the day. I was put off by her…read moreimmediately laying me back herself and pulling my pants down over my stomach which I'm used to being told I can do that myself. She didn't ask permission to touch me unexpectedly like that. I typically am given a towel to tuck in my pants for the doppler so the gel doesn't get on them but she didn't do that and i'm not sure why my underwear had to be showing for her to do the doppler. She then asked me "are you eating too much?" "Did you gain too much weight?" And told me i have stretch marks early. I am 28 weeks, I am also very prone to stretch marks. Even when I was thin I had them, they are just also on my stomach now too. Stretch marks are highly influenced by genetics, plus it's expected to happen when the skin stretches rapidly. I'm also not gaining too much weight, I think 30 ish lbs is not excessive at all for this stage in pregnancy. I also eat a good diet and make an active effort to choose healthy foods, nor do I overeat as I typically have small meals throughout the day when i feel hungry. I spent the entire day after that feeling insecure about how my body looks because of her comments. I don't think it was necessary for her to say these things as it was not a health concern. I know of some other women who have also had negative experiences with her, mainly poor bedside manner and ignoring concerns. I am also told she has two malpractice suits against her. One involving an infant death and the other involving a pregnant woman suffering from a stroke.

They really are a team so I met 2 other doctors in the practice before actually meeting Dr. Markwood who I knew would be doing my planned c-section. He is AMAZING!!! He made me and my husband feel so comfortable in the OR. I can't even find the words to describe how wonderful he is/was to us!!! I am so thankful to him and his team for making my birthing experience so great!!
