This time they said they would give him a contact band aid to help it heal. They scheduled his appointment very first thing in the morning (before his eyes had time to adjust to the light) and were surprised when he couldn't keep his eye open and referred him to Riley in Indianapolis because they said they didn't want to make him uncomfortable. Do they not understand how uncomfortable it is to scratch your eye constantly? They didn't ask what we wanted to do. They didn't ask us anything they just said they would refer us to Riley so they could put him under to get the contact in. It has now been a week since they saw him and no referral has been sent to Riley. I have called multiple times to try to get them to send the referral someplace more local so they can do it without putting him under. Every time I call they either put me through to voicemail or say they will call back and don't.

Dr. Morrow numbed my mother's eye, checked to see what the damage was, explained that it was scratched. Then he explained that he was going to use a bandage contact so that she would still be able to use her eye while the bandage contact would protect from further injury to her eye during blinking. He gave my mother his home phone, cell phone, and pager number just in case she had any other trouble. As if that wasn't going beyond what average doctors do... he even followed up with a personal phone call to check to see how her eye was coming along. My mother (who is on the phone with me) explains that she is almost 60 years old and has never experienced someone who has had as much caring and compassion for his patients. His passion shines brightly.

"sprawling" single story facility off 424 on the east side of town; casual entrances south and east…read moreplus emergency around to the west. hospital staff are pleasant and professional, did a quick time and temp thing for plague before I could enter and use the facility so that's a plus... then did a courtesy room check to make sure I wasn't going to disturb anyone with a phone call. got the all clear and was informed dinner would be served shortly so I went around to the window to chat with my uncle and see how he was doing. room seems comfortable and well appointed with plenty of room for visitors if they were allowed but they ain't. a nurse (aid?) helped him get around to the window seat and left us to visit for a while. my uncle was recovering from his hip thing pretty well, he was in good spirits but a little tired so I got on my way after chatting for a short hour - was kinda like a zoom meeting but with a bigger screen and the video is less choppy. gotta do what you gotta do. It's plague season everywhere so currently each patient is allowed ONE specified in-room visitor as a reasonable compromise between the extremes of hysterical over-reaction and the potential for infectious under-reaction.

My husband's tooth had gotten terrible and was extremely painful. We arrived to our appointment on July 3rd at 1:45 pm and found a note on their door that they had CLOSED at 1:00 pm for the Holiday weekend!!!! We did not receive a call or a letter to reschedule!!!!! (I know when I made the appointment, I gave them all our updated information!) When I called and complained they made excuses and blamed it on a the girl that made the appointment and stated she no longer works there. No accountability!!!!!!! I will never recommend them!!!! They will close early at the last minute and not tell you!!! I left work at noon to drive my husband to his appointment only to find they left early for the holiday! While I husband was faced with a long weekend of pain from his tooth!
