This is a fantastic place to support a local owner and get yourself a new houseplant or maybe one for the office. Maybe pick up a new plant as a housewarming gift.. They offer a good variety of plants as well as soil choices for whatever you purchase. They also have a supply of different sized pots to put your new plant in. Even better was the helpfulness of the employee on duty. She was able to tell us the right plant selection for the environment we were seeking to put a plant in. Pricing is what you'd expect of a specialty type store. Overall a very good experience.

A small hidden plant and soil shop on Argonne road, was recommended to check it out by another Yelp friend and glad I did. Lots of good variety and the owner just started a year ago so lots more potential for sure. A good section on succulents especially the spiky ones my fav! Some ambient music would be cool it was really quiet inside and a bigger sign outside, we almost missed the turn because it was kinda hard to spot out. Great place to find a gift plant for someone because alot of the plants come in small sizes and theres a wide variety of planters to match.

We pulled our carts to the front ourselves and asked the checkout shack staff for help. The clueless blonde said she didn't know what was going on either and did not offer help. We sat there in the sun until Brooke sauntered back, we got a couple more things and checked out for $2,600+. We got a $0.20 rebate through their Rewards program. Yes, a twenty cents for $2,600+ purchase. They wouldn't even give us free delivery, so that was an extra $200. Fast forward to $200 delivery, which amounted to wind-shorn plants in the back of a pickup truck. The trunks of two $300 trees were bouncing off the tailgate where they had fallen over. One tree was near death, with the entire top covered in crunchy dead leaves, browned branches and leaves severly eaten by insects. We refused the one tree and returned to Barn and Blossom to pick out a different tree, until we were told we had to pay another $200 delivery fee. NO, WE WON'T PAY FOR THE DELIVERY TO REPLACE THE NEARLY DEAD TREE YOU TRIED TO DUMP ON US. After, $2,800+, I would have expected a basic level of courtesy the first time we were there, at least the second time, but no. There is zero service and if I could give negative stars, I would. We have alot more yard to landscape and it won't be through Barn and Blossom. The response from Barn and Blossom's owner was, "We are glad you won't be coming back as you are not welcome." Such poor service, even from the owner...now they created a Disney level fantasy novella below about how great they are.
