Visited these baths in Brigerbad during low season in mid-May. It was like having the place to ourselves. But this is a huge facility that caters to the ski trip crowd in the winter months. They have an infinity lap pool with at least 6-8 lanes, wet saunas, hot baths, warm baths that are indoor/outdoor with lots of cool features, and gym and massage/beauty treatments. The prices are Swiss (expensive), but worth the value. Bring your own towels, flip-flops, toiletries as this is not a day spa that provides it. They do provide lockers and hair dryers. It seemed more like a mix of a gym (with a focus on water features) and day spa, but with a restaurant as well. Anyway, totally awesome experience and a hidden gem in Brigerbad.

Everything we did at the spa was wrong. We got there too early, we wore shoes after the changing room (a huge no-no). After a swim in the admittedly beautiful roof-top jacuzzi we changed into clothing to eat lunch (sitting in wet cold clothes in the bistro did not sound appealing).... and all hell broke loose. We were 'ABSOLUTELY' not allowed to wear clothes to lunch. When we explained we didn't want to sit in wet clothes we were met with blank stares. After lunch we promptly were told off for bringing a plastic cup of water outside of the Irish Bath area and for trying to eat a muffin near where we bought it... muffins must be eaten in a specific muffin eating area apparently. All told we were scolded a total 5 times in just a few hours. If you're looking to be told off repeatedly and to pay a handsome $350 USD for the experience, this is the place for you! If not we recommend taking a swim in your hotel bathtub.

From the months leading up to our stay to our initial steps into Grindlewald from the train station they thought of every way possible to make our stay extraordinary. We were there from Christmas Eve through the 30th and had the most magical Christmas. They brought a mini Christmas tree up to our room upon request so we could have an authentic Christmas morning with our kids. Staff reached out months prior to find out our son's names and then Father Christmas himself handed out personalized gifts to every child using their full names at a Christmas gathering. Even for the adults was a once in a lifetime experience. Skiing from this hotel location is a Breeze. Couldn't be a better location. The views are incredible. The pool table was one of the huge highlights of our stay. Food is amazing. Breakfast easy and divine. Can't say enough. You meet the owners and their family. You feel the love and care they put into the place. We've told everyone it's a place you must visit!

Highly recommend getting breakfast with your reservations as their breakfast brunch is really decent. Definitely request room with view of the Eiger as the view is absolutely stunning. I got the exfoliating massage and really enjoyed it! This spa is coed and similar to other spas I've been to, except fancier. There were plenty of changing rooms, lockers, showers, and a room filled with mirrors and hairdryers. If you are getting a massage, they ask that you arrive 2 hours beforehand to do the Roman-Irish spa ritual. Compared to other spas I've been to, the temperatures were comfortable and weren't overly hot or cold in any of the saunas or pools. Some things that were unique compared to other spas I've been to were that exfoliating and laying down on a warm stone were steps in the spa ritual. The spa ritual ends with lounge rooms where you can take a nap, read a book, and drink water and tea. In addition to the Roman-Irish spa ritual there is also a roof top infinity pool with great views of Zürich and a Thermal Bath. My favorite thing was the rain shower in the Thermal Bath because I've never experienced anything like it. You step in this shower and there are 3 shower heads that turn on in sequence with lights and sounds of rain and thunder, alternating cold and hot.

Where do I start with my favorite hotel I've ever stayed at?…read more So this is in the small town of Grindelwald, and getting here by public transportation is SO easy. You can walk from the station with your luggage, it's not that bad. If you rent a car they also had parking available too! It has everything you need: amazing rooms with views, a restaurant, bar, spa, a FREE laundry room, gym. I knew coming here it would be my time to relax and not really do much as I was traveling other places before. I picked this hotel for many reasons, but basically what I listed above was it, and once I arrived, everything exceeded my already high expectations. I had room 106 and it had the LARGEST patio ever. It came with a double swing, patio seats and table, and where do I even begin with the amenities in the room. A fantastic bluetooth speaker, bathrobes, slippers, coffeemaker, cups, wine glasses, etc. It was the most comfortable room ever. Spa was hands down just as gorgeous as it looks. Seriously message me if you want me to gush more. If you plan on wanting ZERO plans and just hanging around taking advantage of the hotel, this is your spot. The staff worked so hard- Dominique I saw you each morning for my FREE (included) breakfast and she was so attentive and sweet. Roger, my massage was AMAZING. Fabulous technique! I want to hug everyone who was there for my vacation 2/21-25 THANK YOU SO MUCH! If you're on the fence, you shouldn't be! BOOK THIS NO MATTER WHAT you will feel right at home! They even gave me parting cookies at check out, like for real, you guys are just magical.
