I feel park haven has came far . The new manager does what he can to help the people here. Plus I see that other review about old dumpy mobil homes and I have to disagree . The older ones are getting torn down or removed out of the park . As for the homeless people you cant blame management when the ppl who live here gives out the codes to gates and so on . but ik for a fact they have went to cards . As for saying there are Drugs and hookers where is your proof. You can not state your opion as a fact if you don't have proof . I know for a fact they have re done the roof and remolded the other stuff to update it for the residents . Plus going to cards . I feel new Management is trying their hardest to do right for all the 55 plus community . And if your concerned on your mom well being or anyone else's in the park report crime to the authorities the office can't do much on your words with out proof so Call authorities to handle it there. If you visit the office , pool , Bath rooms ,So on you will see a house keeper works daily to clean hard . Their are Two maintance men up keeping all the property. read more

Park was nice, went downhill in less than a year.They claim your space rent doesn't pay for amenities, so they block off use of the exercise room and the billiards room on the weekend! Rent is now MORE than my Dad's who lives in California! NOW they charge for trash, it used to be included in your space rent. The management has gone severely down hill. Property manager is very dismissive and condescending. The. Maintenance team is horrible they do little or nothing to help improve the property. Swimming pool on South side has been defecated in. Homeless people roaming through the park. I have found it best not to get involved with other residents as this is the most nosiest place I've ever lived in my life! I own two homes in this park and wish the market was better to sell them!!!!! read more

It doesn't even rate 1 star. I live in Parkhaven Estates year round. When the winter visiters leave, nothing gets done to the landscape. There is a large mound of weeds and trimmings over by the pickleball court that has been there for 2 years. I fell over them while walking my dog. The trash can for dog waiste was completely spilling over for months. Our worthless maintainance man took a break for about 7 months. The whole park is blanketed with weeds in the empty spaces and nothing has been done. When the winter visiters left, all of the lounge chairs and umbrella tables around the pool were put in storage and we were told that we had to provide our own. In the last few days they have returned, but only because the visiters are returning. To clear out all of the dead leaves and trash from in front of the park on Recker, our maintainance "man" (because there are 2 men, but one actually works) he drags a mattress behind his golf cart and all it does is push all the trash under the shrubs. It is never raked out or blown out. They raise the rent by 10% every year in June while taking the ammenities away til the snowbirds come back. One perspective resident was told he had to have $20,000 in his bank account in order to qualify. That was not true. The manager is unwilling to even listen to what people want to address. She has the worst attitude I've ever seen. She doesn't belong in this place. The shuffleboard courts are totally unusable for 7 months because of dead leaves and trash that never gets raked or taken out. When our worthless maint. man gets tired of having to lock everything up at 9pm, he invents stories about homeless people breaking into the billiards room and sleeping there and stealing stuff. I have lived here for almost 6 years now and every cue ball and cue stick are present and accounted for. The only money that has been spent on the park was to re-paint the office and put new flooring. Something that was done less than 5 years ago. Anything for the residents benefit is out of the question. The jaccuzi was down for months. At one time the gate to get into the pool was bolted shut when all it needed was a battery for the card reader. They bolted the gate to get into the shuffleboard courts on both sides. There was only one way to get to the showers, laundry room and pool. I believe thats what is called a fire hazzard and against the law. We are treated like prisoners with our priviledges being taken away or available hours being shortened on the ammenities. This place has turned into a dump since the manager took over. In only 2 short years. The empty spaces alone tell the story. On the website they claim that only 5% of the spaces are empty. Try 20%. If I had it to do all over again, I definitely would not choose Parkhaven Estates and RV Resort. read more

There is no activity director that the company offers. The activities that are happening, shuffle board, pickleball, darts, several different card games, pool yoga, bingo, potlucks, curling, spaghetti dinner, church services, are all run by a variety of residents with no help from the parks office. There is an activity board that appointed themselves, again no help from the office. This board consists of 4 people and the only things they have done this season is a calendar for the events listed above and organized 1 spaghetti dinner so far. The office won't even print the calendar. The only thing the office has paid for over the past 3 years is a couple turkeys or hams for Christmas and thanksgiving, which where made and organized by volunteering residents. The office did also sponsor the Christmas light decorating contest this year. But they do nothing else for the residents. The past 4+ years the empty lots get over grown with weeds. The pools break down often, and don't get fixed for weeks. No longer at the pools, only a very few chairs, no umbrellas. The pictures they show are lies. The south end of the park has different electric setups then the north. The north end gets billed from the electric company. The south end the bill is charge and paid to the office, with lot rent billing. The south end is also charged an extra $22 a month for electric, they say it's a meter reading charge, which the resident has to pay year round, even if they turn their electric breaker off for the summer snowbirds. As of February 1, 2024 garbage pickup will be charged to residents. Monthly charge of $26+ will be added to the rental statement to be paid with lot rent as well. This charge will also be charged year round, even for the snowbirds over the summer. Parkhaven estates is a joke. They do almost nothing to help the residents. They raise the rent every year, the max amount allowed by law. Cats are running around all over, should be leashed but the office does nothing. They push dogs to be leashed but not cats. My step mom has lived there for a long time. It used to be a great place, but it's turning into a dump really fast. The word must be out that they will rent to dumpy trailers and really old, dumpy motor homes, because that's what's moving in. People are leaving and not coming back because of the trashy people they let in there, the crime, and the way they raise the rent all the time. I drove through the park the other day when I dropped my step mom off from a doctors appointment, and there were so many empty lots I couldn't count that fast, and crappy trailers everywhere. The carports are full of so much trash and garbage, the owners park on the empty lots. The residents used to be really nice people, lots of winter visitors, and people from Canada. Now they rent to hookers, drug addicts, thieves, and drug dealers. Her barbecue was stolen right from her carport, and she said that all of her laundry was stolen right out of the clothes dryer just a few weeks ago. Homeless people use the bathrooms to shower and go to the toilet. Now she is afraid to go out of her trailer at night. We are worried about her safety because she says the police are there all the time. She has complained to the management but she says they just don't care. If you want to live in a nice place, and not have trash like drug addicts, thieves, hookers, and drug pushers, STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE.
