Awful, awful, awful. We were left with a window which was screwed shut for over a
month. We also had water coming through our bathroom ceiling for 2 months with
bugs and the ceiling falling down, did Parkers do anything, despite us calling
and emailing often? No! Apparently it was our landlords fault, however, when it
came to our deposit return the owner of Parkers was very rude! We spent two weekends cleaning mould off of everywhere in
the flat, caused by the damp bathroom ceiling and the window. We did this using
our own money and time. When it came to the deposit return the lady who did the
review said we would have a very small cleaning charge for dust which we didn't
have time to clean as we were cleaning the mould. We actually received a charge
of £126plus VAT. I obviously went back to Parkers stating that we would NEVER
have had any charge if it hadn't been for us having to rid the flat of mould
caused by our landlord incompetence. The owner was completely unprofessional asking
why we were discussing this and had a very rude tone about him. I don't know
whether this was because he knew I was young and felt the need to bully me in
to accepting this disproportionate charge. He had no sympathy or compassion, I
think once Parkers are done with you they really do not care. I would say they are like any other salesmen lovely when you
are interested and once they have you they will happily leave you living in
awful conditions and then have the audacity to charge you for it! read more
