My next door neighbor had been using Parkers Pest Control for several years and recommended John Parker while I was away in Iraq as a civilian contractor (2008-2010). I set up an electronic payment through my bank. When I returned, I realized I had a credit balance ... and then noticed he never showed up for service in over 6 mos. I then called him and he said he had been sick and just forgot to come and/or call but said he would be out the next day "right after lunch". He also told my neighbor the same thing. I was upstairs in the shower when he arrived (10:30am). I heard the door bell ring but by the time I got downstairs, there was no one at the front door (he left his card in the front door). My neighbor had gone to the bank so he'd be home by noon. When I called him, he was already on his way back to Wesley Chapel. He never came back. My neighbor and I both canceled our service and I sent him a certified letter for reimbursement of my credit balance. The certified letter was returned to me with a note stating it was not received (signed for). I am a very understanding and honest person who tries to give everyone the benefit of the doubt. Unfortunately, it would cost me money to take him to small claims court to collect my money. He obviously knows this and hopes I will not take action. I've decided to try and at least let the public know what he did to my neighbor and myself in hopes that other potential customers will be aware. read more
