Old west rustic atmosphere, good food, house brewed beer - just what you were (probably) expecting. And just what you'll get. We had a $10 flight of house brewed beer (no other beers available here). While they compare tastes to popular brands when describing them, they do not taste the same (thankfully). I disdain IPA, so I tried a golden ale, pilsner, blonde ale, and a bock style ale (their 1879 redemption ale). All were decent, but the 1879 was definitely my favorite. And all may have been a bit more hoppy than I prefer, but none were spit out or sent back :) My wife and I shared a bruschetta plate and a small charcuterie platter. Beware: when the menu says the small will serve 1-3 people, lean towards the 3. It's quite a generous platter, and everything on it was very good - pepperoni, salami, three kinds of cheese, olives, pepperoncini, nuts, crackers, mustard, jelly, and pickled jalapeños. The bruschetta was also very good, served with a softer garlic bread (not the usually toasted, crusty rounds). Highly recommend. Four stars - I'd go back, even be a regular if I lived close by. read more

This was my favorite brewery until they moved and hired new management. He is running off the OG staff, who made this place fun, just to bring in his own people. The once fun atmosphere of a brewery is now a corporate restaurant that you find on every corner. Stay away!! read more

I was in town for a friend's wedding and we hit up Parker County Brewing Company with about 20-25 of us trying to have a good time celebrating our friends. Beer was fine (none of us ordered food because of the planned wedding activities) but I was personally threatened by someone named Ryan (white caucasian, goatee, light beard, was wearing a baseball cap) who claimed he was an employee of the brewery and asked us to calm down because our group was apparently "too loud" Honestly don't know what this guy's problem was. Maybe he was trying to look like a big man around the woman he was with, or maybe he was just under the influence and thought it would be funny to harass a bunch of black folx, but he crossed the line when he whispered in my ear he was going to go get his gun and forcibly remove me and my friends if we didn't shut up. Don't recommend this brewery to anybody who is looking for a good time and isn't going to be harassed for being "too loud" One of our female friends made a complaint to one of the female bartenders, and she dismissed our complaint saying there was nothing she could do about that person. Stay safe and stay vigilant. Any business who allows anybody on the premise to physically threaten people with a firearm is a no-go in my book. read more

Have enjoy PCB for a long time. Always enjoyed the atmosphere, staff, food and beer choices. We had hoped the new location would be a positive thing and more of what we are used to. Visited today but not so much. Nice environment and seems like more seating. Clean and busy, but watched 4 tables get up and walk out in a period of 30 minutes. Seemed to be long wait for a Sunday mid day although tables were seated. And I never saw a long wait for a table. Didn't bother us as we met friends and worked in our favor as we got more time to visit. We were told they no longer do flights because they have very little of their own beer on hand. Food is still very good and no complaints with what any of us had but the menu is limited from what it used to be or so it seems. With so many other options nearby it's gonna be a harder sale for the future as we felt let down but It was plenty busy so good for the owners. It will be a bit before we make that drive back that way. But wish them all the best. read more

We went after church--no wait! Lots of new beers on the menu, so I did a flight (because you can't just pick one!) We had the pretzel and stuffed mushrooms for appetizers. The mushrooms were rich and cheesy, and everyone loves the fresh pretzels (we ate it so fast I didn't get an opportunity to take a photo). Everyone ordered their own pizza, depending on your appetite you could eat it all or share with 1 person. Service was great! read more

Terrible experience. Don't bring a large party here. You'll sit there for over 30 minutes before someone even comes over to offer water. The waiters don't care about you if you're in a big party and there's plenty of them around. The gratuity is built in, so they completely ignore you, get your order wrong, never bring certain orders altogether. Just save yourself the money and frustration. First visit to the new location and had high expectations but they were misplaced, sadly. The drinks we ordered were good but expensive for what they were and the beer was as well but the food was just not ready for prime time. We had the it's bread with hummus to start and the bread was small soft pita "like" but no flavor and the few veggies they sent with that appetizer were obviously from a bag and came precut and you could see that. It was obvious they were not exactly fresh. They should be fresh. The smash burger was decent but the accompanying fries were absolutely burnt to a crisp. They were sent back and came back again totally burnt up again and a lady I guess from the kitchen was like "well, that's how they come out". They should have never come out of the kitchen like that. If I were in charge of the kitchen they would not have been served like that. The pizzas was only ok... maybe could have cooked longer and just not as good as I recall from the previous location. All in all I feel that they need to get on top of the food quality or they won't last here. I hope they do. Service was decent. I'll give them a few months to improve and try again. read more

Great local spot for some pretty awesome pizza and beer! I have to say that I was impressed by their pizza, the dough was hand stretched and the toppings were delicious. Their oven baked them to perfection, very similar to Cane Rosso. Their made in house beer is awesome with some great mainstays along with others that rotate in and out throughout the seasons. Families are welcome or there's plenty of bar space. read more

Whilst at home on Christmas holiday I had the pleasure of visiting Parker County Brewing and will start this review by saying each return home to my parents place will include a trip here. Let me state that we did not have anything to eat, so this review is based solely on the beer and service; both of which were incredible. We arrived about an hour prior to close on a Sunday evening and found us a spot at the bar. The bartender brought over the beer menu, introduced himself, and gave us a rundown on their beers. To maximize our experience and try as much as we could we settled on two flights allowing us samples of all but maybe two or three beers. Start to finish the service was great, attentive without being overbearing as my cousin and I caught up over tasty craft beer. As we finished up and headed out my attention was grabbed by their Growlers...so naturally I had to take some home; but there was only one small problem: they'd already starting cleaning the taps and were closing. I totally understood this as we got there an hour before they were to close but there was a gentleman up front working on the brew tanks (he may have been the owner, head brewer, any number of titles or perhaps several different titles) that said "no no, who am I to deny someone that wants some of my beer" and he opened up those taps for me and filled it up with their amazing seasonal offering "Chocolate Dipped Christmas Tree." Suffice it to say that any number of good experiences would leave me wanting to go back but the fact that Parker County Brewing knocked it out of the ballpark on each and every interaction leaves me not only longing to go back but also making sure I spread the word and tell everyone I know. We come every single week to this brewery (and spend at least over $100 every time). We love it here but came today (on a Saturday) to watch football and there were multiple tables available. The teenage hostesses told us that we couldn't sit down because they couldn't split a 6 or 8 top for 4 spots that we needed. There was barely anyone in there and they wouldn't accommodate us. We were about to enjoy a large weekend lunch ($$$) and order multiple pizzas to go for our friends who just had a baby. Super disappointing - do better for your customers who want to eat at your establishment. You're losing out on local business. read more

We have been here twice. We love it. We always sit at the bar and get waited on right away. We always get a pizza and never fails us. Delicious and cooked right. The beer is also prett6 go9d for craft beers. We have tried several flavors and are pretty satisfying. No complaints and when come there has always been a local artist playing guitar and singing which is a great treat. read more

Came here three times in the last 3 months. Both times I sat at the bar and ordered a Margherita Pizza. The first time I ordered a flight of beers and the second/third time just one glass. I have absolutely no clue what I ordered but it was pretty good! I can't say there were any that stood out though. I know they rotate beers and I'm hoping to come back when they have a new rotation... I had read a review somewhere prior to going with mention of a peanut butter beer? Sadly they did not have it when I went but I'd say that's what peaked my interest in the first place. 1 star deduction mostly due to staff. The bartenders I had were friendly but I noticed they spent waaaaaaaaaaaaay too much time chatting it up with their friends or regulars. Totally fine but I felt rude interrupting their conversation whenever I needed the bartenders attention. As for the servers, most of them would sit next to me at the bar or at the end of the bar just staring at their phones (looking very annoyed that they had to be there). They didn't seem that friendly so that's why I always opt to sit at the bar... Overall it's a chill experience and the bartenders are cool... but no matter who the staff member is, I feel like I'm inconveniencing them which makes me feel awkward as a guest. read more

Just outside the town of Weatherford, you'll see Parker House Brewing Company in The Shops at Willow Park. The building is spacious inside with plenty of tables to sit groups of 1, 2, or 10+. There's also outdoor seating that's dog friendly. Free wifi is available here too! The network name and password is written on a dry erase board next to the food window. Pizza, wraps/sammies, salads, and a few fun apps are all freshly made and worth ordering if you're feeling hungry. The Margherita Pizza is especially delicious. Service is attentive but relaxed. You won't feel hurried or rushed to leave in the least. Sandy (our waitress) was great about answering questions and checking on us when our glasses seemed low. The beer menu offers a slew of creative and interesting selections, as well as familiar flavor profiles you might already know you like. Everything is on draft here! My personal favorite is their Hefeweizen. Be sure to ask about their "research and development" beer. It's most likely super imaginative & entertaining to try. For example, Girl Scout Thin Mints was the R&D brew available the day of our visit. There's also a nice variety of wines and ciders to try as well. Lastly, pay attention to any specials written on a chalkboard set on the sidewalk near the door before entering. BOGO pizza happened to be the deal that day. Came here 3/31/22 for lunch and sat outside by the stage. I brought my dog too . I got the blackened salmon with grilled veggies and side salad so delicious. Bae got the Cesar salad and added blackened salmon on top. They do have a full bar in addition to beers. Highly recommend!!! read more

Absolutely the worst service I've had in my entire life at an eating and drinking establishment. The place is ran by teenagers and young adults who have terrible attitudes an are very rude. I'm in my 30's, dress nice and are friendly. I was meeting someone but had to walk out after 15-20 minutes because NO ONE would help me (at least 5-6 employees constantly walking around me pretending to not notice) Despite me politely trying to flag someone/anyone down. Again I'm a grown man who doesn't look like a bad tipper or anything, so there was no reason to act like this because the building was only half full. read more

We love this place and came here to join their Thirsty Muggers Club for the advertised $75, which we were holding in our hand when talking to the bartender about the membership. However, during the rules convo, she removed the bar advertisement, threw it away, and stated it is now $95. Another place that I've seen from the road several times and finally stopped in for dinner and brews. Wife and I met our son for dinner and got off to a great start when, while selecting a beer flight (wanted to narrow in on what I wanted in a full glass) the very knowledgeable waiter asked about my preferences and selected 4 samples. I'm not a fan of hefeweizens of IPAs but sampled the Blonde, their Stout, the 1878 Ale and a porter. The Blonde was a great summer beer and stout was very well done but I settled on the 1878 Ale. It had a touch of hops and good, deep flavor. Definitely great craft beer offerings. The food was the main surprise. As an appetizer, we shared the Charcuterie plate with a selection of cheeses and sausages with a pepper jelly and mustard that worked well with the selections. We had a couple pizzas, starting with the Rustica which featured roasted peppers, artichoke hearts and capicola ham. Great crust and the toppings were first-rate. The surprise of the evening, however, was the Javelina Honey pizza which was topped with capicola ham, candied jalapenos and local honey. Sounded very strange but unique enough to peak our interest. Well, it was one of the most unique and flavorful pies I've ever had. Thin crust with a combo of spicy and sweet that made it a must-order-next-time meal. Great beer, great food and a knowledgeable, attentive server rates 5 stars in my book. read more

We went here with a few other friends and all our kids-12 humans in total. They were very accommodating of our large party and we were able to sit within sight of a large open play area where all the kids could run around. My wife had the Hefeweizen and I had a summer ale. Both beers were good. Not spectacular, but easily drinkable nonetheless. The food menu is pretty limited. It essentially consists of appetizers, pizza, and salad. We did not get a salad, but we got a pretzel which was quite good and split a pizza. The pretzel was soft, more so than your traditional German pretzel, but quite tasty and served with a spicy mustard. I'd order it again for sure. The pizza was also a pleasant surprise. It's neopolitan style pizza so a very thin crust and cooked in a 600+ degree oven for only a handful of minutes. It was also very yummy. Only problem we had was a complication trying to divide up the bill. This place is a winner and I'll be back. read more
