First time to eat there and we really enjoyed our meal. My husband got the Jalapeño Popper Burger and the house made chips and I ordered the Javelina Honey Pizza. Our food came out fairly quickly and was fresh. The burger was very good and the bun was super soft. The chips were okay but they were already cold and not seasoned at all. I'm an absolute fan of PCBC - hands down, the absolute best cheese bread. Pair that with some wings and you have yourself a meal! Although I was slightly disappointed that they didn't have the specific dough to make my cheese bread this time, the waitress was so kind and attentive and suggested a pretzel which was also delicious. We love coming here with friends and all the kids so they can run around and play outside. Given the weather conditions, the outdoor area was closed down for everyone's safety due to ice. Not one greeted me as I walked by and I said I will sit myself at the bar. The bartender seemed a bit overwhelmed with a half way full bar customers but at least she was nice and welcomed me. I chose a beer to my liking and this is where the wheels really fell off for me . I like my beer as cold as possible in order to enjoy a rich crisp cold taste on a hot day . Unfortunately mine was rodeo cold with the glass just above a cool feel. The beer was definitely at temp that most people would agree of it not being cold . Thursday afternoon lunch visit, sat at the bar. Had a beer and a couple items. Here is what we liked: * The beer. Had the Oktoberfest and 1879 ale. Both cold and delicious. * Ordered a slider trio: the Brisket slider and Chicken slider were quite tasty. * Stuffed mushrooms, the Misses loves them but hates seafood which is the usual stuffing. Not these lil guys, bacon and cheese with a jalapeño on top. She thought these were quite good. * Bar tender was knowledgeable and good hearted. Ask about the cilantro tattoo. Liked how he said cheers when he delivered each drink. * The general vibe was just a cool place to hang out. * Appears they were dog friendly as there was one in the patio. Good to know for future visits. What could of been better: * The meatball slider was good but think it needed a marinara sauce to make it great. *She loved the mushrooms, I think they would be better if broiled at the end and get that cheese golden brown and gooey. Pretty sad come here to watch college ball because they have multiple TVs. They refuse to turn it on in another game other than a Texas A&M game. All I asked was for the side TV to be put on another game. Last time I ever come here on a Saturday. They should be more open to playing other games other than only Texas AM. Came in tonight to try a few happy hour cocktails since I don't drink beer and I was not disappointed. I was ecstatic to see they had a full bar & the quality of food seems to be better than the old place. I highly recommend going to see Ashley B (she said there's 2 Ashley's)!! We held a music release event here, and I recommend Parker County Brewing Company 100%! Trent went out of his way to make sure we had the staff available to tend to all our guests. 90+ guests! The food was fresh and hot and our guests had continuous drinks and food. It was a fun event, with the perfect outdoor setting, and without their help (even in decorating) it would have been impossible to creat the perfect celebration. We're in town for the weekend and decided to try this place over Cork and Pig just because location made it easier based off of where we are staying. Pulled up and the parking lot is full. It's a Friday night so not unexpected. There's a pile up at the door. After about 10 minutes the four hostesses got to us. They said there is a 15 minute wait for the two of us or we can go sit at the bar. Bar it is. It takes 15 minutes for anyone behind the bar to even acknowledge us much less hand us a menu or take a drink order. In fact, at one point a man standing to the side of us waiting to order a drink pointed out that we had been waiting and the waitress responded, "I know, I'll get to them." Order our drinks and apps. Drinks take about 10 minutes to come out, apps about 20 - not too bad. Drinks were good, we ordered the jalapeño artichoke dip. The dip itself was good. It's served with toasted baguette slices that were absolutely saturated with oil which made for an unpleasant taste. Silverware would have been a plus. Our waitress was just rude. She would ask if we needed something and then walk away from us as we were trying to speak to her, short with her answers, and not at all attentive. We were planning to enjoy several drinks and make an evening of this, but it was impossible with the service we had. Finally managed to order our entrees. Got those 40 minutes later. Jalapeño popper smash burger was good. Spicy chicken sammy wasn't anything special. We did notice a lot of people ordering pizzas so if you're willing to deal with the service, that may be a good option. The fries tasted unseasoned. We then sat not eating, and empty drinks for 30 minutes before we were asked if we needed anything else. At this point we've managed to be served one drink, our food, and it's been over an hour and a half. Ask for a to go box and the check. Waitress never comes back with either. A waiter walks by and we get those from him. I went to the restroom as my boyfriend paid. Two of the hostesses went to the restroom and walked out without washing their hands. Maybe they used hand sanitizer at the hostess stand, I don't know, but it's a bad look, honestly, and makes me wonder who else isn't washing their hands. I get that things are busy on Friday evenings. But by the time our appetizers came out, the rush was over, and by the time our entrees came out the place was slow. When we asked for our check the first time, there were five people sitting in a booth rolling silverware. This wasn't about workers being overwhelmed, it was just poor service. So, if you're heading down I20 looking for a place to stop and grab some food and a drink - make sure you have several hours to spare. read more

The food was ok, service was not good at all. Waited at the front door for over 10 minutes. Just my girlfriend and I so we sat at the bar and waited about 15 minutes at the bar just to be greeted. Was served by a female that was behind the bar, however, after receiving our drinks service was very long and drawn out to the point that when a male customer came to the bar to order a drink the server went and asked him what he would like to drink. He told her that we were there first to take care of us, she replied I'll get them in just a minute. ‍. Really felt like that was because I was not a single male and that we would not get the service because the tip would be less. Good came out then we did not see our sever again for the rest of the evening. Over 2.5 hours for one drink and 2 entrees, the male behind the counter took over our ticket after over an hour of being there. He was great and attentive, and was very busy with all the patrons around the bar. It's strange to me that a lot of the 1 star reviews are rinse and repeat. I normally wouldn't leave a review, but this place has terrible service. My wife and I stopped in to have lunch, the hostess seemed nice and we were sat immediately. She told us who our waitress was and 15-20 min. go by without anyone even telling us " I'll be right with you" a girl waiting tables in our section made eye contact with my wife , but that was the only interaction we received. After seeing another gentleman with his kid seated 10 min. after us get his order taken we finally decided that was our time to leave. I can't comment on the food or drinks.
