Ordered a 2-topping pizza, cheese sticks, a $8.50 salad, and a garlic cup. It cost $50, takeout. Said it would be ready at 7:12, we arrived at 7:15, it wasn't ready until 7:25, my son walked in and grabbed the order, got in the car we drove away, realized they forgot the salad and the garlic cup. Turned around in Drove back, he went in and came back out with a bag. We took it home, it was the $4 salad, not the $8.50 one I ordered. We thought the thin crust pizza would be crunchy, but it was just soggy and it tasted a little off. Garlic sauce wasn't half as good as Domino's. So essentially, I paid double of what Domino's costs, for the same amount of pizza, and it didn't taste very good, it was soggy, and evidently the kids running the restaurant could care less if we actually got the things we ordered. Went in for the buffet; we have not eaten at a pizza buffet in at least 15 years so we didn't know what to expect. Cost was $15/pp, including a drink, tax, and no tip as it was completely self serve....no one picked up the plates, so we set them on a dirty table. A trach can and bus tray would have been nice. For the price, you are better off ordering a pizza, it looked like a large pizza was around ~$22. The pizzas on the buffet all appeared to be smalls/mediums. Upon arrival at ~1300 there was one pepperoni pizza and a partial pepperoni/jalapeno, two slices of Hawaiian that were cold (I ate one), and a partial meat pizza. The lettuce on the salad bar was slightly wilty, and there wasn't much of a salad bar to choose from. The salad bar also had vanilla wafers, but there was no pudding which was odd. There were around 12 - 15 people eating the buffet while we were there. They did put out new pizzas after about 15 minutes, but all of the pizza we tried was extremely soggy in the middle. They were hot and fresh, tasted good, but we're very, very soggy. The only dessert available was some cinnamon rolls that were out when we got there and when we left. I noted on the website that the buffet typically included chicken wings, there were no wings on this buffet. The entire buffet and salad area was roughly 30" deep and probably 8 ft long (area where there was food). I would say this is the smallest pizza buffet we've patronized....maybe this is the new normal since we haven't been to a buffet in years. We also found it odd that there was no music in the restaurant, there seemed to be music in the very back room but we couldn't tell if that was for the back room or coming from the kitchen. Overall the pizza tasted good, just super soggy, which is off putting. The price is prohibitive unless you intend to really eat. You'd be better off getting a large pizza and taking it home. My husband said that buffet would have been a good deal for 10.99, but for two people this is still roughly the price of a large pizza....so get the buffet if you are going for quantity. read more

I've never quite had a pizza like this before.. it's different! It's nothing special to write home about or to go out of your way for. The crust is very soft, fluffy, thick, and covered in garlic salt. Imagine a garlic bread roll made into a pizza.. if that sounds perfect to you then this is your spot! The pizza overall tasted good, but do not expect a fresh wood fired pizza. It's a very cheesy pizza with a basic sauce. I enjoyed their ranch as it was homemade! Portion size for price wasn't ideal. $13 for a small pizza. Service was fine! Plenty of people were on staff, mainly appeared to be highschool kids. Restaurant appeared clean! Overall, this was better tasting than a frozen pizza or Pizza Hut.. it was good, but not the kind of pizza I'd be looking for! I try to be as clear and honest with my reviews as possible! After seeing the response from the owner, took a star off the review. It's important as a business owner to listen to feedback and respect the different tastes and experiences of others. Mama's is basic pizza. I have learned to order thin crust which cuts way down on the bread. Add extra sauce and favorite toppings and it's an acceptable pizza. I recommend calling in your order to go. Sometimes the wait exceeds 30 minutes so call-in is a time saver. Definitely worth a try. read more

Usually it's really good. But lately it's hit or miss. This time we had 4 pieces that no one wanted because there was barely any cheese and it had bubbles not popped so the cheese slid off or something. Service was excellent Just do not come if don't like soggy crust. It's very Chicago style. The flavors were very good on our margarita and tomato sausage pizzas however I could not get past the squish on the dough. I asked for it to be crisped up and they kindly took it back. It came back about ten minutes later with what seemed like more butter on the crust but was not crispier. My family enjoyed the flavors but I absolutely am weird about squishy dough. I recommend getting the garlic bread it was very flavorful however the dough was also squishy. The salad dressing on the Italian salad was very flavorful and creamy. The sale was basic but I have no complaints on that. I won't be back but I'm sure my family members will be. read more

Good dining experience. Pizza crust was fluffy while also crunchy . Not very crowded when I dined. I ordered a large cheese pizza. The cheese was pretty greasy but good. We went here tonight for dinner. There were seven of us. When we went in the menu was on the wall. Big menu hanging on the wall. Normally I would get a ceasers salad but they didn't offer one so I skipped that one. My wife and I ordered a large hamburger, olive and mushrooms. We waited a bit long for our pizza. The dining room was not very busy but the takeout was extremely busy. We could understand the wait. I don't remember ever having a pizza that was as good as this one was. We got the thin crust and they put something on the crust that makes it amazing. The taste is just exceptional. Their pizza is a bit expensive but it is worth every penny. Passing through this small town looking for a good pizza. Found this spot after checking Yelp for a suggestion. Guess we're spoiled in California. This was no way considered a pizza!! Definitely need to google how to prepare a pizza. Such a disappointment especially after spending $60.00 for two pies. The cheese slid off of the dough there was no sign of seasonings like oregano and other spices necessary to make it authentic. From the conversation we had on the phone when ordering the pizza to the absolute shit show that was picking up the pizza, I have zero words for this establishment. The whole time we were trying to give them the benefit of the doubt, but this pizza was practically inedible. The dough was so undercooked, and the crust was folded over like some sort of sad taco. And don't even GET me started on the cheese. It tasted like melted American cheese and it had coagulated like a hot egg white. Then the salad. It was the saddest excuse for a salad I have ever seen. The "Italian dressing" smelled like a mix between honey barbecue and dirty dish water at the end of a long day. This was our first visit and the pizza was excellent. We ate all of it, 2 medium pizzas for 5 of us. We ordered the Supreme style pizza and a 1/2 pepperoni, 1/2 cheese. The crust is good. I ate more than I should have and their ranch dressing is good too; excellent for dipping. The only negative was that the tables were dirty and we had to ask to wipe down the table. It was promptly wiped down but then she asked me if I wanted the booth seat wiped down too since there seemed to be some crumbs and greasy fingerprints. I just didn't think I needed to be asked that. Yes, wipe of the grease and crumbs off please. Then, after wiping the booth, she wiped the table again. Maybe I'm a little uptight but it kinda didn't go over very well with me. Stopped by for lunch we decided on Buffet, nothing to brag about. I would have expected better for $13 not much selection. There were two cheese pizzas which hardly anybody touched. One of the workers came out and took it back to the kitchen not long after a pepperoni came out that was very dark on the crust and almost burned on the bottom. Ok folks, I am what you call a pizza connoisseur! For my money MaMa's in Hudson Oaks Is HANDS DOWN the best pizza in Parker County! Why? MaMa's uses the finest ingredients and decades old recipes to create an amazingly flavorful pizza. Their pizza is filling too and they don't use the cheap mozzarella or cut corners like so many of the other pizza places. So in my opinion MaMa's represents a tremendous value in these days of Uber-inflation. Their pizza crust is sublime. They take time to painstakingly brush the entire edge with garlic butter and boy it adds a really nice burst of flavor as you finish your slice. There is a reason these guys have been around since the 1960's. It's called quality at a fair price. It shocked me that one "patron" commented that they missed Palio's!!! Not to throw shade on the competition, but Palio's pizza cannot and will not ever compete with MaMa's. They're not in the same ballpark. In my opinion, their pepperoni Italian sausage onion and mushroom pizza is the gold standard to which all other pizzas should be compared. Try one the next time you're in the area and tell Jordan that Big Rob sent you! (Pro Tip: Ask them for my VIP discount). Fist time visit for a mid-week lunch at this location. Chose this restaurant due to good reviews. Service was prompt and friendly at the counter. Pizza was delivered to table within 20 mins. Pizza was great. Not the best I've had but good for lunch. Had issue with cleanliness especially during a pandemic. Found the least dirtiest table. I used my own wipes to clean the table of food smears and booth seat crumbs. Floor had not been swept under the table in a while. Smeared finger prints all over the windows. I realize it was after the lunch crowd, but many other restaurants are following the guidelines from the cdc and tx restaurant assoc for safe dining. We might be back for take-out but not for seated dining. read more
