Me and a couple of friends tried Pastafina after it being recommended to us by another friend. Overall, it was a very nice experience. Service was very good and the place has a nice feel to it. No big chain atmosphere. It's cozy and it's a place you can actually chat with other at the table because it's not noisy. I had my go-to chicken parmigiana, which I kind of use to gauge a place on my first visit. It was very good, with the only think holding the dish back was the accompanying spaghetti wasn't really drained well and it became a little watery on the plate. This happens in so many restaurants... Seriously, drop the pasta into a hot pan pan with a little sauce, toss to coat and no more watery pasta. That's what the Italians do, and it works. Yes, it's a pet peeve, but only because it is so easily overcome. Anyway...back to the review. As I said, overall Pastafina is a solid spot. If you like NY style Italian food, Pastafina will probably suit you well. We will definitely be visiting again. read more

The food was awful. So, so bad. Oily, breaking sauces, ZERO flavor. I could not add enough to try to make my dish edible (salt, pepper, parm, red pepper flakes...). Even the water was horrendous. I am thoroughly confounded by the other positive reviews. Please note that we tried FOUR different options and ALL FOUR were terrible: pepperoni pizza, fettuccini Alfredo with chicken, sausage and peppers parmigiana, chicken piccata. We always love the food service and atmosphere at Pastafina I enjoy the house salad with house dressing. I've always enjoyed the pasta and individual sized pizzas. The garlic bread is delicious and the portions are always so generous that I usually have to take some home. read more

My wife and I have enjoyed Pastafina Weatherford many times! In our most recent visit my wife had the Grilled Salmon. It was cooked and seasoned perfectly. I had the Chicken Tetrazzini with a dinner salad with the house dressing. The entree was excellent and the salad was fresh with that great dressing! The service "knocked our socks off"! Out here visiting family and they suggested lunch here. I ordered the lunch special; Sausage Arrabiata. It was great. The portion size was perfect, the sausage was well cooked and honestly, I am telling to not change the recipe for the sauce because it was a perfect mix of spices...not too spicy, not too weak. Cute restaurant perfect for families. Great waitresses, clean bathrooms. Everything was pretty good. Tasty marinara in everything. I was pretty disappointed in the meatballs, they tasted like the frozen bags you can get at the grocery. The desserts were pretty good, especially key lime. We ordered pizza from here that was terrible. We like to try new places and from reviews thought this would be good. The supreme pizza barely had any toppings and just was flavorless. I have been to this restaurant twice with my dad and my 4 kids . Each visit was excellent and the food was so delicious! The staff is beyond friendly and went above and beyond to chat with my kids . They were super professional but also really down to earth and personable . This place has a family feel to it and I liked that about them. What is up with the water ? Pro tip = unless you are used to the drinking the city water in Weatherford do not order the tea, coffee, fountain soda, or plain water I finally ordered the bottled water and all was good . Service = when we went in they had one female waitress serving 6 maybe 7 tables , she did take care of us fine , but it seemed a bit much for one person. I had pizza and lasagna as you can see in the pics. If I am out this way again and stop in out of the three thing I tried I would order the plain cheese pizza agian. I have been coming here since I was a teenager. My husband and I had our first date here 14 years ago. It's a very special place for us and is hands down our favorite restaurant. We go at least once or twice a month. Consistently wonderful food. My husband usually always gets whatever the special is that day and he is never disappointed. (And I sneak bites of it. ) Our kids love eating here too! They love the bread the most I think. The staff is so kind and treat us like family. read more

Located just south of the square, it's easy enough to get to but parking is a bit of a challenge. Upon entering I could tell that the place must have recently been remodeled. It's just a weird decor. Colors aren't inviting, some of the the fixtures were just odd like coach lights on the walls. Upon entering you see wine bottles, wine corks? Why? They don't serve any alcohol. No wine list to be found. Almost laughable. An attempt at being artsy was made by stark black and white framed photos on the walls, but again no theme? Golden Gate Bridge? Big Ben in London? Why not just an Italian theme? At the back of the wall was a huge patriotic themed thing just looking lonely and out of place. Some of the caulking used around the base of the walls was bright clear and shiny looking. You can also smell the construction chemicals around the check out window ( yes... They ask you to take your check up to a window near the entrance to pay). Lots of help standing around having chit chat was a little distracting. Guess with the new construction their wasn't anything that could be cleaned. I had the bruschetta which was really nice. Great toast, fresh ingredients, oil and vinegar drizzling was awesome. The water in this place tastes like disinfectant. It has nothing to do with Weatherford water, it's in the beverage lines or filtration system or something. It's very objectionable. My soda tasted like it had a shot of clorox in it... No kidding. Pizza was very good, nice crust and ingredients. The pepperoni was crisped nicely. I ordered the Pasta combo to get a sample of all they had to offer and it was just mediocre. Upon being served I couldn't even see what was on the plate, everything was drowning in sauce and cheese. The cheese in the tortellini was odd tasting, their sauce is a sweeter type and had an orange hue to it. Sauce was tasty just way too much of it. Pastafina would definitely not be my first choice for Italian in Weatherford. The decor lacks character and authenticity. The food definitely needs to find some inspiration. That water issue needs to be addressed immediately. read more

Nice enough wait staff. But this is NOT Italian food. Not even close. There is nothing here that is even remotely Italian. And none of it really tastes spectacular either. This is just generic food pretending to be Italian. The "Carbonara" was an absolute disgrace to Italians. A real Carbonara is guanciale (or pancetta if you can't find guanciale), egg yolks, Pecorino Romano cheese, and a little bit of black pepper. That's it! Their monstrosity is nothing resembling a Carbonara. Per their menu: "Fettuccine Carbonara -- Prosciutto & mushrooms, sauteed in creamy alfredo sauce." WHAT?!?! For starters, Carbonara is made with spaghetti or even spaghettone. It is not made with fettucine. Lol. Secondly, never in the history of ever has Carbonara been made with mushrooms and/or cream. This is blasphemous, garbage, nonsense. Lastly, prosciutto is probably the WORST choice for a Carbonara base. Even salami would have been a better choice. If Pastafina is reading this, PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, for the love of God, either make Carbonara the right way, or change the name of this dish on your menu to something other than Carbonara. This is basically Fettucine Alfredo (which also isn't Italian) w/ mushrooms and... prosciutto (?) Really?! I'm embarrassed for this restaurant trying to call this Italian food. Three people for lunch in a Sunday afternoon at 1 pm .. great menu selection and food was hit or miss .. calamari was really good ( ordered the frito appetizer) but shrimp was like the kind you eat at a buffet frozen fried shrimp ) bread was warm and out of oven and perfectly cooked .. one of us preserved manicotti and it the the best thing ordered and one of the best I have tried ! Fettuccine with Alfredo and chicken to me was overpriced for what we got .. it tasted like boiled chicken with a very bland sauce .. noodles were cooked perfectly though .. I saw someone order a Stromboli at the other table and it was huge for the price and he said it was delicious .. it looked it .. my advice if you go .. don't order the Alfredo or the shrimp .. other then that it was very good and we had a nice time .. great service and very clean read more

First time eating here and was happy we did. Garlic bread was really garlicky which was fine with me. I had the chicken Alfredo and was impressed. Cheesy and plenty of chicken cut up within. Ate here for the 1st time - food was excellent and well prepared. The dinner rolls were freshly baked and hot when served. I had the Chicken Picatta - the sauce was creamy and paired well with the capers and lemon. this was my first visit to this restaurant. my only real comparison would be olive garden. it is what it is. the decor was basic. i ordered the chicken cacciatore and it was a solid 7.5/10. i would hv preferred a plump grilled chicken breast, the onions and peppers not so chunky and a bit of seasoning in the sauce. the 4th star is for the service. a vigorous staff awaits and doesn't disappoint. my server, persephone, was attentive delightful. read more
