Sausage Arrabiata
Joshua T.

Out here visiting family and they suggested lunch here. I ordered the lunch special; Sausage Arrabiata. It was great. The portion size was perfect, the sausage was well cooked and honestly, I am telling to not change the recipe for the sauce because it was a perfect mix of spices...not too spicy, not too weak. Good job! Whenever we come back to Texas I will be sure to order this again.

Great place for Italian food. I will say it was intimidating when we first arrived. We weren't sure if we should go in. There was one car in the parking lot. But went ahead a went in just because of the good Google reviews. Everything was delicious. They bring out fresh garlic bread when you first sit down. I'm so glad we found this place.

Solid Italian cafe dishes. Eggplant parm on point. Marinara sauce good, so all baked pasta dishes are good.

We were served by Zeno himself (which we didn't realize at first!), and the service was hands-down some of the best we've ever had. He was welcoming, attentive, and genuinely kind, the kind of owner who makes you feel like a regular from the moment you walk in. Sitting at the bar turned into the most unexpected and fun night we've had in a long time. I was seated next to the most wonderful woman, Sharon, and between the atmosphere, the conversation, and the energy of the place, the whole evening felt special. We ordered the pasta wheel, and the gentleman who prepared it was incredible, so knowledgeable, engaging, and clearly passionate about what he does. Watching it come together was part of the experience, and the pasta itself was outstanding. Truly exceptional. This meal easily rivals and surpasses any Italian restaurant we've been to in Fort Worth or Dallas. To have food and service of this caliber in small-town Weatherford is something special. Skip the chains and the usual Italian spots, Zeno's is the real deal. Weatherford is lucky to have this place. We'll be back, and next time we might still choose the bar.

Our friends had the white fish n the tagliata Florentina. The white fish i took a taste was exquisite. The tagliata was ok. We started with shrimp cocktail and calamari. Both Appetizers were awesome. Additionally the pear pecorino salad was good. Our server was sweet but really didn't stay on top of drink refills or the bread basket. By the time she filled the bread we were done with dinner. She could've done a better job. Additionally half the good came out and the other two parties didn't get their good till minutes later. We waited to eat, hence the steak and scallops were slightly warm only.

This was our second visit to CiBi's. We went for Mother's Day. It was just ok. The service was…read moreextremely slow, but a worker told us that they were short staffed that day. It took us over 2 hours to eat, but we figured since this was Italian, we should just relax and enjoy. The pizza is very good and I love that they have fresh jalapeños! For this reason, we will be back. My spaghetti was cold. My son ordered cacio e pepe and it was fettuccine Alfredo...definitely not cacio e pepe. The lasagna was very good. If you're looking for authentic Italian, I don't know that this is it, however the pizza is worth the trip and time.

Where do I start...so today is my birthday & I thought why not try somewhere new. I'd seen some…read morephotos of Cibi & saw it had a 4 star rating and I thought why not, let's go! So I jumped in the truck with my wife & drove 45 minutes anxiously anticipating delicious food and a great experience. Unfortunately, well..., I could've gotten twice the flavor & half the price at Olive Garden. Keep in mind I think Olive Garden is terrible but it still would've been better. Honestly I probably would've had a better experience hitting a Sbarro in a mall food court. Let's start first with the service. Our waitress was training, today was her first day, so this by no means was her fault. However the lady "training" her was doing anything but that. She was not there to support the new girl who was doing her best. When the training waitress came over finally I asked her about a dish that stated it had Hen of the Woods mushrooms in it & she stated "oh, we don't actually use those mushrooms. It just says that. We use whatever we have laying around". Ummmm, what? I guess that should've been my first clue to leave but instead I went ahead and ordered another dish that stated it had pancetta. Now, I know, based on what I was just told about the mushrooms I should've expected what happened next but when my food was brought to me it had half cooked small cut bacon in place of pancetta. The whole dish tasted like mush filled pasta swimming in bacon fat. There was no flavor other than that and it was very one note on texture. Aside from the strong bacon taste it was very bland as well. Prior to ordering we were fed a line about how the chef is from Italy, and these were his recipes, etc... and assuming this statement was true my best guess is that the chef is here now after being exiled from Italy after trying to serve this there. What I actually think is true is most likely the original chef is no longer there, the restaurant at one time was awesome but is now failing &, the "trainer" waitress is potentially one of the last remaining original workers who is doing her best to hide that she has lost her passion for the place too. To be honest it was sad. The table next to us was also celebrating a birthday and we could over hear their disappointment as well. This was also there first time visiting Cibi & while I did not ask them I am sure that like us, they will not be back. I must also add I saw observed another couple on what appeared to be a date that was there before us , and had still not received their order when I left. The male had gone to to front desk and let the staff know he was still waiting. This is sad. Cibi would be a great candidate for one of those Gordon Ramsay or Robert Irvine restaurant rescue shows. Hopefully something changes soon or I see this place not lasting much longer.

As soon as we walked in, we were greeted warmly by the owner, who seated us, walked us through the menu, highlighted the specials, and even gave a few personal recommendations. The space is small but beautifully decorated, spotless, and full of charm. You can instantly feel the love and culture that the sweet Italian couple who owns it pours into the place. The food took a little longer than I would normally expect at a smaller restaurant, but it didn't bother us at all--especially when they brought out the most AMAZING focaccia bread I've ever tasted in my life. Honestly, I would have waited hours if it meant getting to have that again! We loved the appetizer pizza, which was incredible, and the penne Alfredo was good--though I was expecting a little more from a true Italian spot. The sauce was clearly made from scratch and absolutely delicious, but I think if it were paired with homemade pasta it would have been a home run. Still, the pizza completely won us over, and it's definitely something we'll be coming back for. Overall, we really enjoyed our experience and will absolutely be back to try more of their menu!

Anyway... A friend and I stopped in just a few minutes after they opened mid-week and were very disappointed. That an the fact that the young lady we followed in the door was on her first day as a server EVER didn't help. The bbq that we were served look as though it had been pulled out of the refrigerator and put in the steam table just minutes before we ordered. Both of our plates of food were cold and the meat was an unappetizing gray color. My friend's order was screwed up, probably because the new girl had zero idea of what her duties were or what the menu combinations were made up of. We heard her introduce herself to the cashier as the new server and she was turned our way to take the order with no idea of what she was doing, no idea of what was on the menu, etc. Flavor was unimpressive and honestly I was so put off by the whole situation that I didn't even make a stink. I just paid and left the plate of food. I know this place gets some decent reviews and maybe our visit was an anomoly, but I won't be giving them a second chance. 3/18/2016 - Received the comment below from the owner who gave a bit of an explanation as to why things may have gone awry at the time of my visit. I'm happy to see the owner will be more involved and pleased that he has taken the time to drop me a note. If he is willing to reach out to me, then I feel that I can do the same and I will give TBS another shot if I find myself out that way.
