Locals, you've passed this hotel. It's across the Honolulu Zoo next to Tucker and Bevvy. It's easy to miss because it has a tiny driveway, and the hotel doesn't take very much real estate compared to other nearby hotels. It's an old hotel that has been newly renovated within the past couple of years and it was the perfect place for a staycation. The only parking option at this hotel is valet. Upon arrival, we were greeted by August, who was friendly and helpful. He asked us if we planned to leave using our car anytime soon so that he could park our vehicle in an accessible place, hence, less waiting time for us. At the front desk, check-in was quick and easy. Chevas, one of the Guest Services Managers provided us with our room keys and pool/beach towel cards. They sent text messages throughout our stay to check-in on us to see if we needed anything. The texts weren't annoying spam-like messages, and it wasn't intrusive, nor did they go overboard. We had the perfect view from our corner room with one side giving us a nice view of the hotel's pool and Diamond Head, and the other giving us an unobstructed view of the ocean and Waikiki Walls, a popular spot for spectating surfers, swimmers, and volleyball games. In the lobby, there is a direct door to one of the dozens of ABC stores in Waikiki. Around the corner is a Starbucks, Tucker and Bevvy, and Lulu's on the second floor with a balcony view of the beach and zoo. Park Shore is doing their part to lessen their carbon footprint and has done away with the single-use toiletry bottles. They have their own brand (Olu) of refillable bottles of lotion, hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, and body wash fixated to the bathroom walls. Our room also had all the standard stuff: Keurig machine, mini-fridge, microwave, safe, and balcony. Each morning, there is coffee service available in the Korner Pocket. Named accordingly because it's a small lounge next to the lobby that has a pool table available to guests. There is a serve yourself cappuccino machine and cream and sugar in the Korner Pocket. If you like coffee, please do yourself a favor and buy some from around the corner. I did not enjoy this coffee one bit. The pool is tiny, but there are ample lounging chairs, benches, and cabanas. The cabanas are free to use, unlike the larger resorts we're used to where you have to rent by the hour. Lulu's Waikiki, the restaurant next door provides not only room service, but poolside delivery. Overall, enjoyed a nice stay at a low-key hotel where customer service was good. Would I return? Wouldn't be my first choice but certainly not my last.

The hotel is located right across from the zoo and about a block from the bleach. Quite a convenient location. Also has 2 ABC stores close by if you need a snack. They do charge for parking but if you're lucky you can find metered parking at the zoo lot or on the street. The room was decent. Not very special but had the essentials. When the AC is on it can be a bit loud. Fairly priced for the location tho. They offer beach towels and also SPF and aloe vera. Staff are pleasant.

Our stay at the Park Shore Waikīkī was not at all as hoped for. Essentially it's a Motel 6 with a different name slapped on the front of it. We had a hole in our ceiling in the shower that leaked, blinds ripped to shreds and they had to come fix our shower because it was broken. They don't even fully fix it. My parents stayed at this hotel in another room with us and had to be moved rooms due to so many bugs they kept finding in their room. The hotel wouldn't even comp them for the trouble - they waived one nights service fees. (Their sink was filled with baby spiders that were crawling everywhere for 4 days / and they complained each day. And it was on record) This hotel is garbage. And the service fees and valet put about an additional $1 on the charge. So just beware what you're getting yourself into.

Cannot beat location or service! Travis the guest services manager is 5 stars all the way, from checking me in early to asking how I'm doing every time I see him to even giving me some snacks to cheer me up when he thought I seemed down. He is a GEM! 4 stars because the property needs some TLC. Probably should consider remodel at some point. Black out curtains in my room have holes, my mattress has a sizable dip on one side, pillows are not the best, just a general sense of worn in. BUT this view saves everything!!!!

We stayed 4 nights at Park Shore Waikīkī. The location is great in my opinion - directly across from the beach and Waikīkī Wall. My teens swam multiple times daily. There are multiple food options on the same block and most activities and shopping are about 1/2 mile down the street. Good view of fireworks too. The staff were always helpful. We would definitely stay here again.

I have been on many different islands and I am willing to pay what I need to pay to be in the heart of Waikiki. This was the perfect hotel for myself right near the beach and easy to walk around. It was clean. It was in the heart of everything and it was right near the ocean I could literally, jump into the water go back to my room and shower and then go out to eat. Hawaii is going to be expensive, no matter what I am grateful for this place

Location, location, location. You are right across the street, ABC store downstairs, mediocre but handy sandwich store downstairs. The rooms are very small but clean. Short on amenities like a chair or couch in the room, no real desk. Gym was ok But uncomfortably small for more than 1 or 2 people. Older but clean and comfy. Somewhat noisy due to adjacent hotel. Good for small family, not the best for business travel. $50 parking valet per day and $50 resort fee.

WORDS TO DESCRIBE Halepuna Hotel: Modern, clean, safe, economically and environmentally friendly (bamboo room cards, water dispensers for your reusable water bottles), bright, airy, quality service in hospitality and room service LOCATION I loved staying at the Halepuna Hotel. It was centrally located at the beach walk, so ABC Store, shops, restaurants, and the beach were all within walking distance. *It was difficult finding the location of the hotel, when we first arrived. There was no big sign that you can spot, while you're driving, so my landmarks I always looked for were the ABC Store and Denny's. STAFF/SERVICE: Everyone that we came across during our stay was very friendly, generous, kind, and attentive. A shoutout to the Valet Service crew, especially RJ. He gave us recommendations for where to go. He always made us smile and laugh with his jokes. Thank you Uncle! AMENITIES: ROOMS Our room was equipped with charge stations-usb and usb c compatible plugs, ironing board/iron, mini fridge, ice bucket, tea kettle, and coffee maker. BATHROOM Well stocked with towels, a drying cord, blow dryer, shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. I appreciated that instead of your standard toilet, the hotel had bidets! *Great water pressure for showering. The tub was also spacious, if you wanted to take a bubble bath. 8TH FLOOR GYM-Equipped with a lot of machines Water dispenser Additional restrooms/shower room LAUNDRY ROOM is open 24/7 There are 3 washers and 4 dryers You can pay using your credit card or download the WASH CONNECT app *Friendly suggestions: -As a guest, bring your own laundry soap/dryer sheets--or go to the ABC Store if you forget your laundry supplies -Make sure to clean the lint trap before you put your clothes in -Put a timer on your phone to check on your clothes GARDEN -Serene, tranquil, peaceful, spacious -------- Friendly Suggestions for Halepuna Hotel -Have a big sign stationed outside the hotel, perhaps elevate the height of the sign and add lights to it, so it's easy to spot for first time visitors ------- All in all I enjoyed staying at the Halepuna Hotel. For us, it was worth the splurge that maybe will only be done every 5 years, but there's a reason for the high price. This hotel is roughly 2,500 miles away from the continental US and in my opinion one of the best ocean front properties in the world and you have to pay for that. If you are going to complain about cost then please stay home. Everything on an island that isn't naturally there has to be shipped there. So cost is obviously higher. I was last in Waikiki in 1995 as a child. I remember it then and seeing it again now was amazing. The food, city, and the ability to rent a car and leave the city in a flash is something unique in this paradise. The Sheraton adults only pool and the views that the ocean side hotel rooms provide are unparalleled. The kids pool is also above and beyond for the under 16-year-old age group. God speed Sheraton Waikīkī, I will return.

I recently stayed at this hotel, and while many aspects were excellent--like the fantastic service,…read moredelicious food at the restaurant, and a beautiful pool area .( 5 star ) No water at the room and store is not open 24 hour , if you come back hotel late night you have to go to the room take a bottle and come back outside fill the bottle. we had a very disappointing experience with the restaurant staff. They refused to serve us food at the pool, saying it was "dinner time" even though it was just 5 p.m. When we went inside and asked to be seated at the restaurant- they refused again, saying we didn't meet the dress code--even though it was still early evening. This was the only restaurant/dining option at the hotel, I have to take a shower change and and then I can eat something at the hotel .. where I The worst part was the extremely rude behavior from both the restaurant manager, Cassidy and another staff member, John. I told then if I change I can go outside of the hotel with lots of options and the guy (John say 2 time back to back we don't need you to come back hear , Both had an incredibly rude tone and displayed a lack of respect that should never be seen in customer service, especially from managers. After this, we left, and we couldn't enjoy the beach or pool for the rest of the day. Essentially, our entire day was ruined. A hotel should offer at least one casual dining option for guests, or they can have a section at same restaurant at least till same time as pool are open this was a huge disappointment. (0 star ) Hotel guests should be allowed to have food and beverages at anytime.
