For memory care, if you love your family member- don't let them stay here. My loved one (dementia…read moreand peaceful) fell so many times, was neglected, virtually never had his diaper changed- especially when it was a bowel. "I" had to clean him, at $5900 a month. His bowel had been completely dried and still sticking half way in him. I brought a memory care consultant with me and she said "get him out of here".

My dad has been a resident here since July 2017 and we have been impressed by everybody here since…read more This is a very hard job with most folks coming to a facility close to the end of their life and with varying levels of dementia. The care here is excellent and personal and catered to dementia patients. Their approach to having resident's do as many things on their own is a much better way rather that having them highly sedated ( as we saw in some other facilities). The facility is bright, welcoming and has different activities which keep the residents occupied. Some other benefits have been having a nurse/doctor who visits the facility rather than having to go outside. They are very accommodating to help work on different diet restrictions as well. Overall, can't say enough good things about all the folks here starting with Char, Jane and going through all the caregivers who help care for all the residents.

After visiting and interviewing most of the four and five star senior retirement and rehab…read morefacilities in Georgetown, Texas, we selected the Oscar. My wife needed extensive physical and occupational therapy. The Oscar's assisted living pricing was the most competitive. Their pricing is fixed for rehab and assisted living. That means no surprises at the end of each billing cycle. We have also found the management team to be superb. Jasmine Walker (Sales), Craig Lentz(Executive Chef) and Melissa Russell (Assistant Director), have provided the information and delivered on the services promised in their marketing literature. In April, 2026 we attended one of the Oscar's semi formal event for residents and their families. It was terrific. Kudos to Hannah Neuffer - Lifestyle Director and her department for the wonderful decorations and Hannah for the great entertainment with the Mark Charles Band. Chief Craig Lentz - Dining Director never fails to amaze diners with his entrees, sides and desserts. Chef Lentz provides wonderful meals throughout the day. We love The Bistro, The Poppy dining room and Jon's Bar. We have also found the daily activities offer a nice variety to help ensure residents have interesting and fun things to do during the day. They have a load of activities that she goes to and I think that's going to keep her mind sharper much longer than if she was still living alone. She goes to Mahjong, exercise classes, live music and recitals, plus a lively happy hour each Friday. Most of the folks there are so vibrant, coming from all over the US and different countries. They also have "armchair astronomy" classes and various lectures. The staff are caring, pleasant, and helpful. Dawn and Ralph, the managers, do a great job. I'm so glad we found this place. Mom was hesitant to go live there and she recently told me how much better her life is now that she's with other people.
