Stopped in for a quick slice and was met with a variety of great choices! I was impressed by all of the veggie and even vegan friendly options. I opted for one plain and one roasted pepper with zucchini and was definitely not disappointed. Bonus: service was fast and staff was very friendly!

I order from park about once a month on slice. I always get the parco but this time I requested the peppers sliced thin and we'll done. OMG sooo delicious as you can see from the pic. I'm from NY and Park pizza is the closest to NY pizza in Philly. Try the Parco!!!

Park Pizza reminded me a lot of Brooklyn pizzerias I frequented when I was growing up. It wasn't always THE BEST pizza, but if you're in Brooklyn, pretty much any pizzeria is going to be pretty damn good, and that's definitely not the case in Philadelphia. From the canned black olives and mushrooms, to the thin crust that got slightly more hefty toward the outer edge of the pie, and some pretty good cheese (tasty and enough but not TOO much), this is definitely a place that I can rely on to satisfy that childhood nostalgia craving. The tomato sauce is just a tad too sweet for me, but Philadelphia pizza sauce seems to usually be sweeter than what I'm used to. The price definitely beats current Brooklyn pizza prices. We ordered a whole pie, but this would be a great option to just grab a slice (or two) as well, which is also not the norm for most Philadelphia pizza places I've been too. Overall, this pizza snob highly recommends Park Pizza! :D

Update: the tomato pie is really good. I might even like it more than the regular pizza. Maybe even my favorite in the city...

So on a humbug we ordered from here based on the stars and I wish I wouldn't have we ordered 2 cheessteaks and fries well as you can see based on my stars it was not worth it. I ordered extra pickles and got a total of 6 and the steak barely filled up the roll....the fries were crunchy as Idk what but NOT in a good crisp way more like hard bread. So definitely disappointed that I just wasted $30 for not so good food.

We walk past this spot multiple times a week. Finally walked in today and it was everything I imagined!!! The pizza flavor and crisp was to perfection and desserts were delightful! Will definitely be making it a regular place to visit!

Amazing! I got a custom turkey hoagie. It was well worth the wait. LOVE these pickles. The owner is super nice and double checked with me to make sure he got everything. I live close by and I can't wait to try their pizza!

The pizza here is really really good. Only full pies no slices which is a bit of a drag but who cares. It's excellent.

Our server apologized for a delay in taking our drink orders. She was attentive the rest of our meal. I ordered a Charles deGaulle whiskey cocktail. Lemon, aperol and simple syrup added a refreshing twist. For entrees, my wife ordered the pacherri; a simple pork ragu with tender broccoli rabe, Parmesan, stracciatello and basil. The dish was delicious. I enjoyed my plate of sea-inspired tonnarelli nero. Bay scallops in crab ragu with fennel sofrito. Served with squid ink pasta that imparted a slight brininess. The pasta was cooked pangrattato style-- coated in panko bread crumbs and garlic. The dish had many flavors but they all came back to the theme. Cocktail prices and entree prices were very reasonable. They offer happy hour drinks and specials. Certainly a very good choice if you're in the area.

The short rib over polenta was probably my favorite thing on the table - it fell apart easily and the polenta underneath wasn't as heavy as I expected it to be. We got the salted caramel budino for dessert too, and I was glad it wasn't one of those desserts that's so sweet you can only handle two bites. Would go back honestly. Probably order something different next time just to try more of the menu, but I'm getting that ricotta again no matter what.

I personally would order this as my meal if I could. room temp, oily, good crunch to soft ratio. Judion Beans: good beans. they are on a similar wavelength as butter beans. honestly I get them for the table for the extra bowl of oil at the bottom to dip the crusts in. Creamy Oregano Salad: very interesting. small shaves of mushroom and fennel. very slight bitter taste. oddly addictive. the olives were my favorite part. i'd consider these friendly olives to those suspicious of olives. and the olives are cut in halves, so easy to pick out. so are the mushrooms. easy split for a table of four. beyond that i'd get two. *ADD ON* pickled chilies: very good. I suggest adding this to the pie. they are green, spicy, delicious, absolutely lovely. Corn Pizza: all together very delicious. my favorite part are the cherry tomatoes on top, which I would really like to be an add on option to other pies. they are the perfect flavor and size. i'm not particularly a tomato fan, especially whole. these are a rare exception. Classic Pizza?: solid, no notes. good as always. My only wish is that they offered a sauce to dip my crust in. they have very good crust, perfect ration of crispy and fluffy. just needs a sauce. Overall, great service, the manager greeted us to check on our meal, our server was attentive, the vibe is great inside.

Makes it a great spot for a pizza date night. The pizzas absolutely are the star and they care about the quality that they put out. I've never had a pizza that wasn't within their consistent standard. The corn pizza, when in season, is a stunner and a reason to go on its own. The small plates are all delicious and if you like wine, the list they have is really strong always. All of the above said, every single time I go I see the bill and I say to myself, "oh that was a little more than I thought it was going to be." Has it stopped me from going back? No! And I don't think it should be a deterrent, but good to keep in mind. Like I said, the food is so great and the staff is as well. As a whole package, though? 4-stars!

We got the gnarlic knots which were decently tasting, but since it was to go, we didn't check it before it left. They didn't put on the parm-romano cheese and they didn't include the garlic dipping sauce. It just seemed like the running around not knowing who was going what led to oversight. Fortunately, I got booked on a flight out the next morning and found a hotel in the city. Other than running to a drug store, my only other time leaving my hotel was to grab dinner at Pizzeria Vetri across the street. I enjoyed the food, the service, and the ambiance. I was immediately seated upon arriving to Pizzeria Vetri. I was asked if I wanted to sit at the bar, at a table, or at the pizza counter. I chose the pizza counter so that I could watch staff making pizzas. As I was there on my own, the serving staff continued to stop by and check on me. The menu includes neopolitan pizzas (12" feeding 1-2 people) and metro pizzas (28" feeding 3-4 people). They make pizzas, calzones, antipasti, and salads. I chose a Neapolitan-style pepperoni pizza consisting of pepperoni, tomato sauce, mozzarella, and fresh oregano. It was quite filling and absolutely delicious! They also sell pizza kits so that you can make your own pizza at home. Pizzeria Vetri was created to celebrate the art of authentic pizza making.
