Shrimp with Vermicelli in Clay Pot
Wunnie B.

It wasn't too bad, we are definitely coming back again to try out other foods. Our server was amazing & even helped me decide what entrees i should get. A little bit pricey, but big portion sizes (LOVE LOVE!). We went around 1pm & it was nice & quiet, pretty sure we were the loud ones. lol. It's worth it. my partner got the 'shrimp in ceramic bowl' , lemme tell you, the broth was DELICIOUS. the shrimp, noodles, he ate it all. i got the 'Lo Mein chicken, with rice, egg drop soup, & veggie egg rolls'. The egg drop soup was also delicious, not too thick, very light. (I was really sick beforehand, but this eased my tummy) Lo Mein chicken, gosh i love bean sprouts & this was my favorite item from the meal. The spring rolls were also really good, but i definitely prefer the egg soup. anyways, good food, good vibes, lovely workers. we're coming back again with more photos :)

Pork lomein

Finished a long day in Yellowstone, and this place was the closest to the exit. Ordered the eggplant dish, beef and broccoli dish, sesame chicken, and pork lomein (noodles). These dishes were served with a side of white rice or fried rice, our choice. They are presented in a traditional Asian manner where each dish can be shared by everyone at the table. Eggplant was cooked properly. The eggplant was tender and soft. The flavor was on point. Beef and Broccoli though was off. The broccoli was undercooked and still crunchy. The beef was not tender and had that dry texture due to not marinating the beef with a little bit of corn starch. This also resulted in a watery sauce. Sesame Chicken was very fast food Chinese ... half batter, half chicken. Pork lomein had very little pork pieces and a lot of garlic. It relies too much on the sauce that it is cooked in for flavor. (See the attached pictures) Service was good. Price was on the high side for what you get. There is a sign explaining that the prices are due to the seasonal nature of the area, which I didn't quite get. The outside sign says this is a Chinese and American food, but there is no American food on the menu (Burgers, steaks, etc) Is it because they serve bison dishes for $$$ ? What you are getting is Chinese food that is slightly a step above Chinese fast food at a sit down restaurant prices. For the Chinese reading this, this place is ma ma deh. Was going to give this place 2-Stars, but took one off for kitchen cleanliness. (see attached picture) Yes, I have eaten at numerous street food stands in Asia where rodents and vermin run under the table while you eat from dishes and utensils that were "cleaned" in hot water from the previous customers. So, I know, but this is the US, and there are different standards that need to be adhered to.

General Tsos and Black bean fish dish
Katie S.

This restaurant was delicious! Most dishes seem to be family style, so the portions are large. The food is not unreasonably priced for the area. The service was top notch- our wait staff were very attentive. Additionally, you can get very authentic Chinese dishes or Americanized foodie General Tsos, both of which they do well. This was a great break from American restaurants on this trip.

This restaurant is located not far from the west entrance of yellow stone national park. There are lots of selections from the menu including American hamburgers as well. The taste is average but The service is fast and friendly. Consider this is a tourist town, the price is reasonable. If you like noodle., I definitely recommend, beef noodle soup. The beef is tender and the portions is very generous. If you craving for Chinese food, this is a good place to eat.

The online order screen for this restaurant that I was told don't exist and no refund would be given. SCAMMERS. False advertisement!!!

BEWARE!! SCAMMERS!! I was going to place an online order because the restaurant is close to my work, I had input all my selections and got to the very end to find out they didn't open for another 15 minutes so it would not allow me to place the order yet so I called it in instead. Online my total was $16.30 but I was charged $30.94 when I picked up my food. When I asked about why it was almost double the price I was told the Manager was going to call his boss to see if refund could be issued. I showed the Manager the screenshot of my online order and everything. I was then told no refund because they don't even offer online ordering. WHEN I HAD JUST SHOWED THE MANAGER THAT IT WAS AN OPTION ONLINE. I then pulled the restaurant back up to show him AGAIN and it was no longer an option. Literally within maybe 5 minutes I showed him it was an option then he turned around and acted like I never showed him that and asked me to show him again. It makes so much more sense now that their parking lot is the only empty one in town ALL THE TIME.

Chicken, beef

Food: As a Chinese family, it was so surprised and hard to find a Chinese cuisine in the Yellowstone national park. Which is also the best Chinese cuisine in the park. Tasty!! Fresh!! Service: Really really good service. Feel like home. Solving the problem immediately.

Our server was very friendly and conversational and recommended some of their best meals. We went with the elk ravioli and lasagna. The ravioli was good but the lasagna was very oily which was a bit off-putting. For dessert, we ordered the huckleberry cheesecake which was disappointing given that it was just a regular cheesecake with a little bit of huckleberry sauce on top.

"The revolution will not be televised And will not star…read moreNatalie Woods and Steve McQueen or Bullwinkle and Julia" (Gil Scott-Heron) Dinner at Bullwinkle's was a very pleasant experience. First of all, we were thrilled to see it was open, as so many of West Yellowstone's restaurants had already closed for the season. It was a real neighborhood kind of a place, and by that I mean totally unpretentious and without any of the foo-foo fanciness that pops up in resort towns now and again. Their menu was solid -and concentrated on burgers, sandwiches, steaks, local elk, bison and walleye, and Italian Pasta with a "Montana Twist". More on that soon. We started off with a complimentary basket of house baked bread that was so good it just about disappeared in ten minutes. I felt like having a beer, so checked out their beer list of local beers before choosing a Halo Huckleberry Hefe ($6) by Lewis and Clark Brewing of Helena, Montana. Huckleberry is a local specialty, and nearly every gift shop sold jam, jelly, honey, and candies made from it. We both love Italian food, so we zeroed in on those Italian Pasta with a Montana Twist specialties. My wife chose the Bolognese ($23.99) for "Elk and bison meat sauce tossed with rigatoni pasta and topped with shaved Parmesan cheese." I went with the Meatballs ($24.99) for "Elk and bison meatballs tossed with bucatini pasta and house-made marinara sauce". Wowie... were both dishes great. The Elk and Bison tasted pretty close to beef, and I have to say my meatballs were excellent. I tried a bite of the Rigatoni Bolognese and it was also excellent. The house made marinara was a standout. Our server Emily was a charmer and really enhanced our dining experience. Simply put, we loved Bullwinkles and thought a $57 dinner with a drink and great food is a very solid value.

The Huckleberry lemonade was very good and was recommended. While Reis was good, the asparagus and mashed potatoes were very good. The bison tenderloin was good, but I think it's better served as a ground meat in a burger form. It was tender, but not as flavorful as some of the other bison, I've recently had. The ambience is a pub/bistro setting. The service was exceptional as my server attended to me several times to check in on how was my meal

We were very thankful it was still open as late in the season as it was. But we walked in, were greeted warmly and took a seat in their spacious dining room. Our server Hollie was prompt and friendly and took our two orders. My wife went for a Classic Cheeseburger ($16.99) with lettuce, tomato, onion, pickle spear, a choice of cheese (Cheddar, Pepper Jack, American, or Blue Cheese), and a side of house made chips. We were stunned to see the burger was in reality a DOUBLE burger, so the portion was very large, and those home made potato chips were sensational. I went with the Fish Tacos ($17.99) with Mahi-Mahi Fish, Shredded Cabbage, Pico de Gallo, Red Pepper Crema, Flour Tortillas, Tortilla Chips & Salsa. There were three very large tacos with plenty of fish and were delicious. The weak link was clearly the tortilla chips which suspiciously looked like they were from a bag of Tostitos. Our very enjoyable dinner ran around $36 after tax/before tip. PRO TIPS Attention gambling fiends! There is a casino room in the restaurant with seven slot-type machines and an ATM machine. In search of restrooms? You'll have to physically leave the restaurant through a back door into the Holiday Inn property. The restrooms are in a hallway at the Holiday Inn.

We weren't expecting to find good Chinese food in bear-and-bison country, but stumbled upon this gem of a restaurant, and wow -- plot twist! We ordered the ELK sizzling platter, because... when in Yellowstone, eat like an elk? Surprisingly tender, smoky, and flavorful -- definitely a local specialty worth trying. The Sichuan popcorn chicken? Legit spicy, crispy, and could easily sneak into a Sichuan restaurant in Flushing without raising suspicion. The stir-fried large intestine was well-prepped (read: clean!) and delicious -- if you know, you know. Even the shrimp lo mein was decent, although it played it a bit safe, like that one cousin who always orders sweet and sour chicken at dim sum.
