For 5 years i went to this place for all dental work (until now, since they stopped taking fidelis medicaid), as someone with severe medical phobia, it my critical 1st adult self regulated visited place for cleaning, root canals, extractions, numerous emergencies unplanned for which they've been patient for -- many unscheduled walk-ins on my part since I was barely contactable to medical spaces, and, they didn't turn me away. It's a collective of dentists, so quality and fit are a wheel of fortune , varying in experience, strengths and weaknesses. I'd felt extremely grateful that I was able to verbalize with one dentist who was a consistent one I'd follow up with for several significant procedures, because it was crucial and navigateable rapport I could go thru and not feel petrified about, and attempt a single portfolio and history with someone working on me. It opened a door. Coincidentally, steadily for the past two years, all of the work she's done (each one kind of heavy) has failed, pretty hard, (with unraveling heavy consequences requiring heavier work) and she's already no longer part of that office. Three crowns, and an extraction. One crown rotted off, tooth needed to be extracted. One popped off, got recemented. One crown's been failing for years, reinfecting six times while I've been failing to make it to an endodontist, because I'm daunted to see a specialist, and feel a sense of defeat, and finally cracked last week. I usually brush only once a day, or floss/mouthwash in lieu, additionally, rather than twice a day, so I figured I was responsible, for a long time, and I do think it's a grey area, but, every single job that was hers went off-kilter within two years. Yet, Back then, It was all work I needed , and it got done at the time. I was relieved I would and could get it done at all. I think she was doing her best,(again) at the time. It's unfortunate. I think this is accessible for poor people and is a option when there is none, which is drastic from nothing. She wasn't the only one I saw and did work on me. Someone else who did an extraction, and bone graft surgery has left me in a good stable state as I've witnessed in the past year and a half. Someone else recemented the crown she did that fell off in less than a year or two later, and it's still holding up a year later. If I had a choice, I'd continue going there if I didn't have to pay out of pocket, and stick with the person who did the surgery, only because of how little guard they put for me to just come in. I was always felt extremely lucky just to always get any communication and no turn aways from them, regardless from the rabbit-out-of-the hat treatment, altho, in hindsight, maybe it was just from who happens to me my most longtime dentist, and it could've easily been or gotten transferred to 3 or 4 other individuals. The assisting staff, front desk, everyone else besides the dentists, who took x-rays, were all overly servicing and memorable, it feels like they formed a relationship with me. read more

Everything can improve. Completed online intake a month before appt. Photos of insurance uploaded. Confirmation of appointment. Showed up early. The place does not feel welcoming at all. You are told to sign in without a smile or greeting. Customer service has to improve. At time of appointment I was told they don't accept my insurance. Absolutely no sensitivity to my time or situation. Requested to see a manager to no response. Would & will not recommend this place to anyone. read more

Dr. Lee is a really comforting dentist. Works very efficiently to get the painful stuff done fast and also gently. Definitely a fan! They seem really busy sometimes though. I wish he would slow down to talk at the end instead of giving medical advice while there are tools in my mouth. Sometimes I have a question and I forget by the time I have a chance to talk and then they rush to the next patient. I'm sure they are very busy and have a full schedule so considering that I give these kind people a good 4/5. Making time at the end for discussion and explanations instead of talking to me with tools in my mouth would be my only suggestion. read more

Terrible dentist. They are a scam and want to just take all of your money and tel you you need a lot more procedures than you actually need. Please do not go to this dentist. They are nice but predatory. read more

Ugh I hate to do this but after waiting 90 minutes they asked for it. IDK if its a lack of time management, overbooking, lack of customer service or they really just don't care. I never saw the dentist. I waited an hour in the lobby. I had to inquire what was going on. Finally went to the room and they took x-rays and still waited about 30 mins and nothing. I left. No reason a cleaning should take that long when my appointment was at noon and the dentist gets in at 10:30. It sucks because I really like the dentist, when I get to see her. I rescheduled but only want to be her first appointment moving forward. read more

I went for a cleaning and I am a new patient. I didn't experience a long wait time, however I did come at 3 pm on a weekday. The associates were nice and informal. I did have pain in my jaw and made sure to mention it via the application, to the dentist assistant, and the dentist before hand. They were very gentle and the dentist did a great job making sure I was comfortable and not in pain. Any questions I had about my xray were addressed. They have not submitted a claim yet and confirmed they take my insurance multiple times. I will update once that has been done. read more

TOTAL SCAM. DO NOT GO TO THIS DENTIST UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES. I was looking to get a regular cleaning at a convenient dentist in the neighborhood and booked an appointment at Park Dental. The cleaning itself seemed superficial, and then I was told that I had eight cavities, four on either side of my mouth, including one that was so deep that I may need a root canal. I was surprised to hear this because I have never been prone to cavities (I've had two in my life before this), but it had been over a year since my last cleaning, and you kind of have to take the dentist at their word because it's not like most of us can read tooth x-rays. I had them fill the four "cavities" on the left side and scheduled a follow up for the remaining four filings on the right side. The entire experience was unpleasant, and afterwards the fillings were so sharp and jagged that they completely scraped up my tongue and chewing was uncomfortable for more than a month. None of it seemed right so I decided to do the follow up at a different dentist's office. The second dentist took a look at Park Dental's original x-rays and said she could see one cavity on either side... so a total of two cavities, not eight. She also said the x-rays were really poor quality, and showed me how it looked like my teeth were overlapping in them. I agreed to have her take new images and examine my teeth, which confirmed that there was only ONE cavity on the right side, instead of the FOUR Park Dental told me I needed to have filled. She said it was deep but "no where close to needing a root canal." This place will take advantage of you and recklessly do unnecessary work so they can charge you and/or your insurance company. Stay away. read more

Don't come here ever! Unless you want your time wasted. I scheduled an appointment with them and I specifically said that I only have straight medicaid and they said no problem. I called to confirm today my appointment and even said I only have straight medicaid and the gullible receptionist said sure come in today. So I come in on my appointment right on time as I'm filling out my paper work. The receptionist calls me over and tells me that they cant see me today because there is no medicaid doctor to see me. So not only did they waste my time. I even said I called on the phone to confirm if they have medicaid. And you know what they tell me oh we can see you for a check up for $100. They waste peoples time purposely so you can pay $100 don't get scammed. read more

Amateur dentist - does not know what she is doing -avoid at all costs!!! I came in for a chipped molar, my first time here. They immediately took me in to do the 360 X-ray, which I explicitly asked not to do -- as all that was needed was an X-ray of the side the chipped tooth. The assistant came in to charge my credit card before starting the procedure (as if I was going to run out without paying). They left me in the room for an hour, until someone (I assumed the dentist) came in and barely explained to me what she saw and what she was going to do. She started drilling my tooth, no numbing cream -- decided to start separating my teeth with a metal contraption and the pain was unbearable. I told her to stop and she said, "well, we usually numb you before" -- I snapped back with "why didn't you numb me then!!" Needless to say -- it was jagged and two days later, started disintegrating some sort of green particles. I made another appointment with a different dentist (for a second opinion) -- to look at the mess she made, and sure enough, the dentist showed me the picture of the filling -- it wasn't even my color (she didn't even tint it to match my tooth), there were green things in the bonding, and the dentist said that the work was done so bad, that it could have caused tooth decay and a need for root canal/tooth loss. The dentist explained exactly what he was going to do thoroughly...he had to numb me + three injections on my gums, and drilled/ removed everything she did and redo the bonding. I called their office and they said they would not refund my money, but that I could see another dentist at the practice --- WHO IS GOING TO GO BACK THERE?!?! Not me!!!! Stay away!!! They are recent grads practicing on you! They will be hearing from my insurance. read more

I went there for a routine cleaning and it seemed fine, the doctor told me I had 2 cavities, he filled them on the spot. THEN I went back a couple of months later cause I chipped my tooth. (1) He told me I needed a thing called an onlay and that he couldn't do it that day, I'd have to come back in approximately 2 weeks to get a mold, and then wait another 2 weeks to get a permanent 1. Ridiculous. I went to another dentist the next day and he fixed it on the spot. (2) While I was there for the cracked tooth, he told me I had ANOTHER cavity in the same tooth (maybe cause he didn't fill the whole thing) and that because it was the same tooth, insurance wouldn't cover it. What bullshit. AND FINALLY I asked for my xrays to take them to another doctor, the hygienist at the new place laughed because the xrays were so overexposed they were useless... read more

Even if your provider says they're in network - ask and make sure everything is in network. I paid for everything before I got 4 root canals done (two teeth fell out - I was given a bad burn on my lip) and I wish they would've been more on my side when it came to paying everything off I'm struggling paying it all. I had a very good experience at park dental, very friendly staff, the wait wasn't long and the dentist was very skilled, and she seemed very knowledgable. Most importantly, the dentist took the time to thoroughly explain all issues with my teeth, which is very important for me. Highly recommended for all Brooklyn residents or even from other boroughs! read more

STAY AWAY from this office! 1. Having patients wait over an hour is unacceptable! I stopped coming to park dental awhile ago for that reason. 2. Dentist was not prepared as far as the instruments she was going to need for my daughter's filling. 3. The technician walked out of the room several times to get the instruments and did not change her gloves and proceeded to handle the instruments being used on my child. Especially during COVID times these important factors should not take place in a healthcare setting. I've worked in healthcare for over 20 years and this is unacceptable. And lastly, the female with the European accent needs to take a course in customer service because she lacks all the skills. She is extremely rude, unprofessional and the few times I've seen her she never has a smile. Looks like she is miserable there so maybe is time for her to find another job! I am sure you are aware your rating is 3.5 maybe your office needs to make some drastic changes. read more

If you are looking to get a thorough teeth cleaning, STAY AWAY from Park Dental Brooklyn!!! They do NOT have a dental hygienist on staff, but they still offer teeth cleaning services!! A proper teeth cleaning is done by a dental hygienist NOT by the dentist!! So it goes without saying that the dentist working on my teeth was horrible. She had no idea what she was doing! After about 6 minutes in, she took off her gloves and asked if I had any other questions or concerns. Quickest teeth cleaning I've ever had in my life. I was truly at a loss for words. She didn't even floss my teeth! I must say, lesson learned on this one. Don't assume just because you are booking to have your teeth cleaned at a dentist's office that you are going to be seen by a dental hygienist. My advice to you, STAY AWAY from Park Dental Brooklyn and when looking into other offices make sure to ask if they have a DENTAL HYGIENIST on staff. Park Dental Brooklyn is apparently too CHEAP to hire a dental hygienist/qualified dentists. Shame on you! read more

Office staff sucks .. they definitely discriminate against insurances like healthfirst and metroplus. Don't go here they will charge you 2 months rent to get a partial done and then it won't fit your mouth. Then an imbecile flop of a manager waste of space name joe will try to convince you that it's totally ethical to spend 200 more dollars to get the correct fitting. Of the dentures. That your ordered. And paid 1950 for to begin with. read more

Had a toothache and took a chance on Park based on Yelp reviews, and was pleasantly surprised to see they lived up to the praise. Dr Moy was my guy and he explained my issue (wisdom tooth) and reason why it had to come out. Must say he took it out before I was even aware of it--no pain at all then or afterwards. I was on solid food the next day, no swelling, nothing bad at all--it was a breeze. The entire staff is polite and professional. Highly recommend Park, and Dr Moy! read more

I left with more problem with my teeth than I arrived with. Beware, this is clearly a training ground for new dentists, and those TVs that are shoved in your face in every room are not only tacky- it's totally inappropriate for a medical setting. read more

They were very nice but very bad. There was no dental hygienist, the doctor checked for cavities and then cleaned my teeth which is not the order that should be done in. The cleaning itself was haphazard and painful. I'll be going to a different dental practice for a second opinion as soon as I can. read more

Best dental office in NYC period. No gimmicks or anything straight to the point. I came in with all kinds of tooth pain and Ms Jane took care of it. Her hands are gifted trust me. Showed up to appointment 10 min early and still had to wait ~ 30 min, which isn't too bad (especially with new patient)! Really felt like I got a good cleaning from the dentist. So I've been looking for a good dental office for a while, I have insurance and their network took me to very bad dentists. Finally I found one: Park Dental. The place is very very clean (which reflects the level of professionalism in my opinion), very organized, staff is very friendly and answer any questions! They also have tvs everywhere so that time flies while they fix your teeth. I needed to fix a canine issue I had for a long time, I've seen 2 dentists that were unable to definitely fix it, and the dentist finally put an end to it. He was very nice an professional, gave me advices for my gum problems, and I'm now doing all my fillings with him. I will also get Invisalign to fix the alignment of my teeth and will definitely do it with them as they offer very affordable payment plans all along the procedure. They also have affordable prices for people without insurance. Definitely worth the shot! I finally found my dentist! read more

Park Dental has staff members who really provided excellent customer service. Miss Ana at the front desk took very good care of me. She was very polite and professional. She and other staffs were very helpful as well. She kept me well informed about about my dental appointment and set me up with the right dentist. I couldn't have asked for a better customer service. I'm sure I will be Making my future appointments here at park dental. Thank you. read more

I initially came to this dental office thanks to a Yelp review. Although I liked the dentist who assisted me with my semi-annual visit I wish I had never come, and here's why. I came to the office seeking a new dentist as well as an orthodontist to help me with Invisalign. During my first visit, upon arrival, the girls at the reception area completely ignored me and continued to answer the phone as well as type away on the computer. I figured they were busy so I waited a few minutes, still no acknowledgement other than a few glances my way. Finally I decided to let them know that I was a new patient, and had no idea what the protocol was for their office. Immediately upon me saying that the girls stopped what they were doing and decided to assist me. I was a bit annoyed by that, but still figured it may be busy and let it go. After that encounter my visit was smooth sailing, and I was content with the dentist. I was even able to obtain an appointment with Dr. Jane, the Orthodontist. I returned for my appointment with the Orthodontist a few days later and sat in the back room waiting about 30 minutes for Dr. Jane. She then returned to the room and gave me a 10 minute consultation. The consultation was pretty straight forward and I was told by Dr. Jane that I needed an appointment 2 weeks from that date to discuss how much my insurance covers, and how much I'd be paying monthly after the down payment of $2,000, which was then lowered to $1,000 because I had noticed that in every other office I called it was only $1,000. When I returned 2 weeks later a woman in the front called me to the reception area and immediately requested for me to pay the $1,000 deposit. I explained to her that I was not going to pay that before hand because the whole purpose of the appointment was discuss the financial aspect of the invisalign, and THEN get the impressions done for the Invisalign had I agreed to move forward with it. The thin young lady also sitting in the front then stated that's not how the appointment goes and tried to explain that I must put the deposit down first, THEN see the doctor, THEN get the impressions done. Now exactly why would I give up a large sum of money for something that I have absolutely no idea how much i'd be paying for moving forward? She continued to explain that the insurance company hasn't provided them with an exact approved amount. Now, when I called to discuss the deposit a week before my appointment I also spoke with my insurance company whom stated that a claim hadn't even been submitted. I explained to her what Dr. Jane herself told me during my initial consultation, and the fact that i'm aware a claim was never put in before I called to discuss the deposit. The condescending young woman then stated "well it was submitted 2 days after you called." Why would you wait for me to call - a week after my consultation- to submit a claim after the doctor discussed everything at the front the very same day of my consultation? So I proceeded to say what was the point of this appointment if there were nothing to fully discuss? The condescending young lady then stated " okay that's fine, i'll go ahead and cancel your appointment then". She then told me to return when I received my claim form from the insurance company. It's very clear that I will not be returning to this money hungry establishment with unwelcoming and condescending employees. read more

Before I elaborate on my review, i would like to say the doctors here (I've had encounters with 2) are very nice and informative, however they really put emphasis on implants when they see you're missing a tooth (as in my situation with 2 different doctors) no alternative options. Upon arrival, it's obvious they double book (and even how fast the doctors leave the room upon completion) Save yourself money and time as far as receiving a cleaning. Do NOT come here for cleaning. I would never return! The dentist do the cleanings. They do not have a hygenist. I take care of my teeth, but that doesn't mean I should be given what was literally 10 minutes half assed cleaning. The doctor (who I forgot his name) passed the cavitron quickly and polished them just as fast. He DID NOT use scalers. Additionally, there is one dental assistant who opens everything that's going into a patient's mouth and what the doctor is using bare handed!! The Salvia ejector, the mouth piece for the panorama xrays, opening the doctors tools from the sterilization pouches. She doesn't touch the part that is directly going into your mouth (with the expection of showing where to bite down on the panorama xrays) but it's enough for me to be disgusted. I am also a dental assistant and would NEVER touch anything without gloves. read more
