RAT INFESTED: say goodbye to your belongings that you paid too much to store in the first place…read more Nota bene: The high ratings for this place were for a time when the storage units were under previous ownership, and the previous, awesome owners have been replaced by the rentier bourgeois of the worst kind. This used to be the best storage unit in Reno--it was the most affordable, the staff was very friendly, and it was convenient to pay online. Unfortunately, it was sold about a year ago to new owners based out of Roseville. They jacked up the prices by 25%, they ask you to pay by check (as if it's 1995), and only recently did they make payment by Paypal available (for a $3/month fee!). The units are infested with rodents, to which the new owners respond by telling tenants to set mouse traps. There is no lighting provided in the units, either. Oh, and there isn't a dumpster anywhere in sight. Just to be clear, these new owners raised the rates to a ridiculously high amount, they instituted a fee to pay online (the previous owners did not charge you for paying via Paypal), the units are rodent infested (but the elevated rates don't help this matter in the least), there is no lighting in the units, and there's nowhere to put your trash. All the new owners care about is collecting your money, full stop. DO NOT RENT HERE. They might argue that they've used the increased rents to pay for a keypad gate system (instead of paying an actual employee to work there). Granted, this is a step up from the goon they had walking around harassing tenants to verify that they were up to date on payments. Extremely intrusive. Bottom line: this place is the *worst*, the owners are greedy, exploitative, and your belongings will be ruined by rodents.

As we are living in New Zealand, good communication and a fair price made this a easy choice. What made it even better was the friendly on-site staff and convenient location to the Budget Truck rental depot as well as other important post Burning Man stops. Update for 2014: Linden Mini Storage is actually a UHaul dealer so you can sort out storage and transport all from one Burning Man friendly place.

On the webpage, there is a request that those waiting in this lot do not keep the engine running. I got a good laugh about that request in the winter or summer time when it is freezing or 100 degrees outside.

I'm writing this review on a gas station/mini mart for ONE reason…read more... For the Mexican food, obviously. Sounds weird, but check it out... This unassuming gas station has a small take out only Mexican restaurant inside. While they have a small menu, it covers the gamut of what you'd expect. Tacos, burritos and the like. But as it was morning, and I hadn't yet woken all the way up, I needed breakfast burrito and some spicy salsa. And the one I got was amazing! Just so happens they have a hot stand with some recently made selections, which normally I'm sketch on, but this place? They were so enthusiastic about the food they sell, I had to give the chorizo burrito in the hot case a try. The guy behind the counter was all smiles as he talked about how fresh it was, and gave me a couple spicy salsas. Took it home, unwrapped, and saw this thing was tightly wound and packed, not falling apart. Score! It was double wrapped in both foil and paper, so it held its moisture and heat in. Score! I take a bite - delicious! Chorizo, eggs, taters, peppers, great stuff. The salsa was really good too. Alternating between the green and red kept it interesting, and by the end of it I was completely convinced this place doesn't make "gas station" food. They just make good food, period. If I ordered this at a "restaurant" and they put this burrito in front of me, I'd be happy, straight up no lie. And for $7, not a bad deal either, for what you get. Can't wait to go back and see what else they can knock out of the park!

Normally Maverik is my first stop on the weekday mornings and I'll either grab a cup of coffee and/or a burrito The Coffee: I love getting the grind your own, add your own cream and sugar. Prices are super affordable and I think the coffee tastes better than Across the country chain coffees. You're in and out with your 5 star cup of coffee made exactly how you want it, in like 5 minutes. The burritos: My favorite is the Moab, mother of all burritos. It's chock full of egg and meats and cheese. So delicious and for $7? STEAL OF A DEAL. This location in particular: It's a little hard to get to in the mornings, as lots of people are headed towards Virginia street from Panther Dr area, so their clogging up the turn lane makes it challenging to get into the small parking lot. In the mornings it's chock full of the blue collar (?) crowd of construction workers getting caffeinated and fueled for the day. But other than that, no complaints about the establishment itself.

The soda machines seem to be not working and out of stock all the time. The nacho dispensers are seldom restocked, hot dogs are always out of stock and the bathrooms are a mess all the time! Maverik has taken away most of not all the outside tables and in some locations even the inside tables are gone or are being used for storage. I get that homeless people might affect that but that just means Maverik needs to step up and be more proactive about dealing with criminal vagrants that ruin the Maverick experience. Also, recently here in Reno I heard that Maverik was cited for food issues? I used to go out of my way to go to Maverick. Now I go out of my way to avoid Maverik if I can

There are RV bays with a raised deck to get up high and the top. A free RV dump with wash or you can pay to dump if you aren't washing. The large bay would work for box vans or??? The automatic was works well but make sure nobody is vacuuming at the exit or you wont be able to use the blow dry (really bad placement). The prices are reasonable but the discounted wash card system seemed to be down or confused during my visit. (This used to be called the Wave Car Wash)
